Although it is evident that she has feelings for Jack, she is not overwhelmed by them, and can be with Sawyer just as easily.

Although she may appear vulnerable she isn’t.

From her eariliest ‘flash backs’  we know she has killed, without remorse, we know she can track, survive in the wild, concoct complex schemes, but keeps it silent, only bits trickling out to the prying Jack and the dark link with Sawyer.

Unlike other ‘female leads’ she is not interested in pretty, like Shannon, nor being a woman , like Claire, but prefers the understated; she gets attention for what she does and can do, not for how she looks or what she is.  She has no fear, and recalling that she was on that flight as a prisoner going to trial and likely conviction, being on the Island is quite alright with her.

now im guessing you have already seen it or you just watched it now, after watching the video i was amazed by how google has transformed the email world and was eager to try it out knowing that it would work with any webcam (i would use my laptops one).

now i followed the link that they provided in the description box of the video and took a little tour around the webpage, reading the features, the cautions (standing to close and other stuff) and their upcoming projects such as google docs motion

after i had read all of that and watched the video again just to see what i could do i scrolled up and clicked the “try gmail motion bets now” button and a HTML5 popup showed itself, but this was a good popup (suprising), after waiting for the progress bar to load it welcomed me with a delightfull

now i can understand googles humor but they had put so much effort into and everyhting that i didnt even think it was an april fools joke, but they did mention after the april fools message it said “gmail motion does not exist, at least not yet….” it got me thinking.

This is the final guidelines for Title I of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006, as published in the Federal Register on July 2, 2008.  Unfortunately these are only published as Guidelines for the states to follow. They do establish a national baseline for sex offender registration and notification programs. In other words, the Act sets a minimum national standard and sets a floor, not a ceiling, for jurisdictions’ programs. I know that I personally can not fix the current state to state registration for sex offenders in the nation.  I can however keep myself informed and try to inform those around me and anyone willing to be informed of the tools available to help them locate offenders in their area as well as keep track of any offenders they may have personal reasons for keeping track of. 

There is a professor by the name of Kevin Warwick. He has been used to promote the Human microchip. He was implanted with a chip and can control electronic devices at a distance, such as an artificial arm and an electronic wheelchair. Warwick and his wife Irena are implanted with another chip that’s connected directly to their nervous systems to batteries and radio transmitters. These chips are implanted in their arms and they could suffer physical damage.

Many people are worried about these Human microchips, and how they can track you everywhere. However since this new chips can be connected directly to the nervous system they may be able to control our thoughts and emotions. This means that if we are stupid enough to implant these chips into ourselves they could control our whole body. If you were implanted with one of these microchips you could be tracked anywhere. Your thoughts could be monitored by supercomputers and then altered if they need be. They could put thoughts in our mind, and basically make us the perfect slaves. Also if these chips were unencrypted it would be really easy for hackers to go in and control you or harm you as well. Some such chips are already being tested in prisoners, mental patients, soldiers, handicapped people, homosexuals, single women and many others.

One day everybody in the world might be chipped. They could implant chips in our babies at birth. Throughout their whole life their thoughts would be monitored, and if they weren’t right they could simply be changed. We would be living in a world where our reality could be changed into anything they want us to believe. So if you are ever offered a human microchip no matter how good the benefits sound, I’d advise you to not get chipped and become a mindless slave.
