The location of the house where the buildup and chaos reflects a problem area of your life.

Did you know that the accumulation of things at home and disorder are related to different kinds of fears? As fear of change, fear of being forgotten or forget, fear of lack and also symbolize confusion, lack of focus, chaos, instability and uncertainty may mean your goals, your identity or what you want in life. Besides the place of the house in which the disorder or are buildup reflects that area is problematic in your life. For example, it is said that the closet, or dressing, reflects how you feel emotionally and once you organize your internal conflicts will subside, or a faded bedspread means your love life has also waned.

Have you broken or damaged objects preserved for a long time thinking about repairing one day? Symbolize broken promises and dreams and in the case of appliances, electronics, furniture and dishes and have, for example, in the kitchen or bathroom means poor health and wealth.

If you have clutter in your room means you’re a person who leaves things unfinished and you have difficulty having a partner or stable job.

Nurseries are usually messy because they have not gone through the process of knowing what they want in life, but studies show that children who keep their rooms organized tend to do better in school.

Different kinds of buildup

Build up again: This build-up indicates that you are trying to do too much aa time and you’re not focusing on what you do and you’ve lost the address. This buildup or disorder includes stacked clothes, cd’s or movies alredeor of the house, toys and sports equipment scattered about, things you’ve used recently but have not put back in place. The way we live in a hurry tend to create such a mess and almost all have in our home to some extent.

Organize this type of disorder immediately helps you be more focused and effective in your daily life.

Build-old: I mean you did not use objects in a long time and are stacked in the attic, garage, closets … Old working papers and documents on your computer that you no longer use, magazines for over 6 months or clothes you do not have put in over a year. This reflects that you are living in the past and you’re letting your old ideas and emotions from taking over your mind and this prevents both new opportunities and people into your life.

10 Things you can do today to control the disorder:

1. Throw it larger than the first: the bike to do exercises that you no longer use or giant teddy bears preserved since the days of school.

2.Get back the things you have provided, cds, books, clothing, tools.

3.Recoge what is on the ground and put in a basket or bag until you can take the time to put in place.

4. Collect magazines, catalogs and newspapers in a bag or basket.

5. Out of the cabinet 10 items that have not used in the last year and donate them.

6. Clean the windows, is a figurative and literal way of letting light into your life.

7. Empty trash cans, bathrooms, kitchen, office, represent things you no longer need or want in our lives.

8. Remove the drawers in your closet loose socks that have lost their partner, you can use to clean furniture.

9. Clear the desk, file papers you no longer use, reviews and organizes incoming mail.

10.Pen and marker not work, throw it .

The shocking truth behind the processed foods you find on the shelves.

If you are confronted with this question, your first answer would be NO!, but what if I were to tell you that there really are some Ifs, Ands or Buts about it!

Ever day Americans are giving their pets food, bags of food that come off the shelves at Wal*Mart, Target, and/or the local grocery store. What if I were to tell you that it isn’t the corn meal or the sodium that you should worry about in your pet’s diet? No, What if I told you that what your pet should really worry about is the amount of plastics, Styrofoam and chewing tobacco he/she is in taking!

Is this fact or just dire lunacy, I wish it were the latter but the Alpha wins in this ASTONISHING revelation.

But where do you ask?, How can this happen?, The answer is simple, many of your local meat factories, grocers, meat lockers, etc. Have what they call their by-product container, many of which sit right next to their garbage containers. What happens when an unthoughtful employee decides they want to chuck their litter away within their hectic work schedule? Kaboom right into the trash…..Right????

Many processing plants that churn the meats into mush for our dogs and cats do not have the money nor the time to search through the countless amounts of mush for left over plastics, tobacco or glass.

So next time when asked the question “Do you feed your pets trash?” you can hesitantly reply “There may be some ifs, ands and Butts about it!

So next time you pick out your pets breakfast, lunch and dinner, look pass the corn meal and the sodium but glance every so carefully at the meat by-products because, they really mean, Meat by the way there may be some plastic, glass, metal, drug products within this merchandise.

Perhaps their lawyers make them put By-Products, and that’s the bottom line.

A review of Pirates of the Caribbean. Might I add, a hilaaaarious review.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, was a puzzling movie to say the least. It doesn’t really have the same gritty, realized feel of the previous movies, instead plunging straight into camp. It starts off with a whimper when Jack Sparrow, (Fun fact: He was a muslim in real life!)

throws on a disguise in a fairly predictable courthouse sequence to save his cohort, the Fat Guy with the Side Burns and Pigtail. Bla bla bla, he acts drunk and does something wacky, bla bla. If you’re coming to this movie to see Johnny Depp in a stereotyped Johnny Depp role, you won’t be disappointed. At this point, the main characters are in yet another colonial fatty’s abode, this one happens to be a king. This is where I started to get a little concerned about the tone of the movie, and who the movie’s target audience is. The fat man, as he had few other character traits, acted very silly, moving his hands around in an exaggerated and distracting way while making amusing expressions. It was pitiful.

The bright spot in this scene was the introduction of Barbarossa, easily the best actor in this dismal offering. Jack Sparrow proceeds to have another wacky adventure, and meets his father, which was possibly the laziest way they could have given ‘Ol Pirate McPrettyFace the Mcguffin to start his adventure. The perpetual drunkard (said with all the tenderness of another drinker) visits a bar to get answers or crewmembers or something, and runs into his new love interest, Penelope Cruz, best known to gringos as the hottie from Blow, Johnny Depp’s second wife. I guess she’s nice to look at, but to be frank, a blow up doll with a mobile television tuned into Telemundo could have carried the same acting weight as her, an opinion I blame fully on the director seeing her emotional and believable performance in Blow. However, a crime I cannot forgive her for the OUTRAGEOUS amount of crude, awkward, and just plain stupid sexual joke between her and Johnny Depp. When I heard the line, (Paraphrased) “It seems that when we meet, you always have something pointing at me.” I can honestly say that, I felt the urge to spay a human being. I was disgusted.

The villain, Blackbeard, wasn’t too bad, but the entire subplot behind his mysterious voodoo powers was discarded almost immediately. It was a shame,as he and his ship controlling powers were easily the most interesting part of the movie. The dude had a frickin’ flamethrower in his ship! A cool battle between pirate and mermaid takes place, setting up another side plot that was immediately discarded. The 3D looked like trash. I can honestly say, the thing I most enjoyed about this movie was the popcorn. I give this two stars out of five, and a recommendation that everyone involved in this mess should kill themselves.

GUATEMALA CITY (AP) — A torrent of gray, toxic water spews from a drainage tunnel and surges along the ravine, tumbling along garbage that has fallen from the Guatemalan capital’s main landfill 1,000 feet (300 meters) above.

Despite the foul odors, the danger of unstable piles of garbage collapsing and the chance for heavy rain to suddenly raise the water level, dozens of people are busily at work searching for jewelry and other metal scraps knocked loose from the trash.

They call the ravine the “mine,” and refer to themselves as “miners.”

Every day, about 300 hike to the bottom of the ravine and wade into the water in search of rings and bracelets made of silver or gold. The water sifts and carries away the lighter garbage, leaving heavy metals on the stream bed.

“I make more money coming here than going to a company where they would continually scold me,” says 41-year-old Eddie Miranda.

He says he finds scraps worth 150 quetzals, or $20, almost every day.

He got lucky on a recent day. “I found a bracelet with 9 grams (0.32 avoir ounces) of gold. I got 2,000 quetzals ($256) for it.”

It may not seem like much, but it’s almost as much as the monthly $270 minimum wage in this Central American nation.

At dawn, the scavengers arrive much as if coming to a regular work place. Many are wearing clean, ironed shirts and even whistling. They carry shovels and backpacks filled with their garbage bags, snacks and change of clothes. They leave their dry clothes at an improvised camp and start looking for treasures.

Scavenging, which is prohibited by the government, can get particularly dangerous during storm season. The workers say many have died while trying to pick garbage out of water raging through the ravine.

Dozens perished one day in 2008 when a mountain of garbage collapsed on them.

“The piles of rubbish and dirt bounced off the bottom of the river and dragged me while I was trying to escape,” said Antonio Yupe, 32, a scavenger who survived the disaster. “I took a lot of spins. I broke my leg. I don’t know how, but I was buried with my face uncovered, so I could breathe until I was rescued.”

Still, the “miners” call the dangerous heavy rain “the blessing of winter,” because the increased flow of water improves their chances of finding more metal.

If the scavengers don’t find jewelry, they collect screws, faucets and other recyclable metal items that they can sell for 85 cents a pound. That amounts to twice the minimum wage for an average trip.

A few yards (meters) from the mouth of the tunnel, 35-year-old Avelino Perez and 19-year-old Julio Leja are up to their necks in water, surrounded by towering mounds of garbage. They push their shovels down into the current to bring up scrap metal, food containers and other objects.

Perez seems happy. He shows off a dirty Roman Catholic cross he has plucked from the bottom. His fingers look burned with acid and his nails are yellow. But he smiles.

“It’s gold. I may get 500 quetzals ($65) for it.”

My reflection on garbage.

In our day to day life, we must have walked by a ton of trash that we never even pay much attention to. We tend to walk over it as if it isn’t really there at all. For my English class we had to do a project in which we had to gather trash and see where it was mostly found. As for me, I found a few different things that could have been thrown away or recycled, and not just dropped onto the floor. The earth is definitely being affected by our neglectful and selfish ways. I often ask myself why people don’t recycle or put their garbage in the trash can where it belongs.

At first I really couldn’t find anything when walking back and forth to class. I did happen to get lucky a few times one day when walking back from class though. I happened to see that people had thrown their trash on the ground and left it there. The weird thing about it was that the places where I found some of the garbage actually had garbage cans right there.

I also happened to find some more trash that was in front of building700 (boys’ dormitory) and by the express area where a large amount of people hang out. I go by that building when I walk back towards my room. I saw that people left bottles, pizza boxes, and other things lying around there. When going by the express area, there were food contents everywhere that I looked, on the seats and on the floor. On top of that it was about maybe three or four trash bens out in that area.

People and trash just don’t seem to go together at all. As long as there are people, there will be trash. As long as there are trash cans, there will still be garbage lying around. I wonder what the result of this will be in the future.

Art museum in Salem, Massachusetts, USA. Cardboard, newspaper, plastic, scrap metal, bicycle handlebars and other rubbish can be used in creating artwork. Are we throwing away too much rubbish which could be better used to create art? What do you think?

… and don’t forget to accessorise! Ha ha!

Recycling old newspapers in the Philippines:

And now for something completely different – cellphone birds from Senegal. I wonder how many tourists actually buy them and take them home with them? That would be interesting to know.

This type of thing could be developed into something more upmarket with the help of someone who has studied art at university. This would be a good project to aid lesser developed countries if a charity in USA or UK would take it on board. With some professional art and crafts training people like these could turn out better quality recycled art sculptures.

Contrast the work being done by these Senegalese people with the sculptures of Bill Boyce in this video:

What’s the difference? Big bucks?

Which is better? The projects above or growing mountains of trash?

Hope you have found some inspiration if you are interested in craft work.

What does it mean to be "white"?

There are four key factors that influence the way whiteness is experienced by a given individual (McDermott 2010):
1. Size of local non-whites. White people who live in poor, predominantly black neighborhoods are considered to be inferior. In general, people expect whites to live in affluent, predominantly white neighborhoods. So those who live in places with lots of low socioeconomic minorities are perceived as defective somehow.
2. Availability of other plausible racial identities from which to choose to affiliate. This factor is discussed in the context of the Melungeons, people who are mixed race (white, black, and native American) who live in Southern Appalachia. An individual may identify as a Melungeon, even though they look physically white, to express a sense of victimization while distancing themselves from “ignorant white people”.
3. Social class of most whites in the local area. Even though income for working-class whites are similar in both Greenfield and Crescent, white Americans in Greenfield experience more social superiority than those in Crescent. This is because whites living in Crescent are often classified as “white trash”, so their white identity becomes a signal of inferiority rather than superiority.
4. Strength of white identities in the local area. In an area with a large white population, such as Boston, people tend to further sub-divide themselves into more specific ethnicities such as Italians or Irish. However, this does not happen as often in Atlanta, where there is a smaller percentage of white people.

Whiteness can be experienced in many different ways depending on your local environment. Physical traits, such as lighter skin, is not the only factor that defines whiteness. Rather, whiteness identity is also closely connected to local status, privilege, and perception. It is important to understand that white racial identity is complex and varied because it demonstrates that race is social construct rather than a genetic one. This will help erase the idea that a person’s race is fixed at birth and is rooted in inherent biology that cannot be changed.

In all of our attempts to guard all of the high tech spots to prevent identity theft, a rather low tech spot has been overlooked by many people. That low tech spot is your trash.

In our attempts to secure our personal information online, by avoiding giving it out or by keeping our computer secure against hackers are those rare occasions(stressing the term very rare occasions), that we are forced to give it out online, we spend less time worrying about a more low tech alternative for identity thieves.

Often times, we get junk mail, and often times, people tend to throw it away without a second thought of what it is. Credit card offers tend to be among some of the most common things that are pitched in the trash without a second thought. What many people do not realize is that when we throw these things away, we leave ourselves open and vulnerable to identity theft. A great deal of personal information often tends to be put in junk mail. Even people throw away paper statements, given the fact that they can check that information online, not realizing that it is a virtual treasure trove to identity thieves.

Identity theft is becoming a more pressing problem. There is never such a thing is too prepared in this day and age. More and more people are getting their credit utterly destroyed, when their personal information falls into the wrong hands of identity thieves. The online world has been something that has made identity theft a bit more accessible but the fact remains that identity theft was around long before the Internet had blown up into what it is in this day and age.

The one contributing factor to identity theft many never be truly eliminated. And that would be the tendency of people to leave their personal information lying around or even worse telling people, who claimed to be with the credit card agency or with the bank. When in reality, these people were identity thieves.

It may seem rather low tech to dig through people’s trash, but it is a blind spot and identity thieves have exploited it time and time ago. People are willing to do some rather scummy things in the name of greed and digging through trash is one of the tricks of the trade. It proves that you don’t need to be a master computer hacker to commit identity theft when people just carelessly throw their personal information to the side.

Many cities have seen this and have made it a crime to go through the trash for this very reason. That might only solve a portion of the problem. Those who would go to the extent that they would be going through the trash to look for personal information to commit crimes are also extremely likely to go to the extent of not getting caught.

In the end, be mindful of what you drop into your trash whole. Either destroy it beyond all recognition or burn it. The next piece of trash could be the first step down your road to financial ruin. In the end, your trash may be treasure for identity thieves.

The name of this place is Manshyiat Naser, and it is located in Egypt, near Kairo.
It is often referred to as "The Garbage City".
And this comes with the reason...

Manshyiat Naser is the world’s dirtiest city by all means. I think you don’t have a special researcher to tell you that, it is enough just to take a look at the photos.

People here are actually living surrounded with mountains of garbage all around them.

A heaven for rats?

Could be…

Or an apocalipse?

Well, however, the citizens of M.Naser actually make a living out of the garbage, since they search through it, seeing what could they sell…they recycle…its simply their lifestyle.

Tons of garbage is brought to the city every day from the capital city, Kairo, and put inside this town.

Some will find these images to be too cruel, but this is not a photoshoped story-this place actually exists!

What do you think? Could you live surrounded with trash?

Emotional, Psycholoical and Spiritual Baggage.

Image by Laurel Fan via Flickr

When I ask the question what is in your bag, I am NOT talking about your Gucci, your Fendi, Chanel, or even your Coach. I not referring to the paper, plastic or even canvass bag. I am talking about your Spiritual, Emotional and Psychological bag.

We all carry around baggage, rather it be a small change purse , a duffle bag or a large suitcase. We all have it. Some of us have designer baggage we just dress it up and carry it on our life shoulders trying to convince the world that we are expensive and okay ,when the truth is we are tore up from the floor up. We have issues that requires tissues, we are just dressed up dirt.

Some of us carry around a Plastic bag and want to just recycle the hurt and pain . There are some that carry around the paper bag because we think it is more global and society will accept that. But, Lord some of us carry around that dingy duffel bag that has all our baggage and other people baggage. In the duffel bag we carry the baggage from our childhood, our last three relationships, our children’s baggage, work baggage and our mama and daddy baggage.

Last but not least, their is that old out dated large suitcase that consist of outdated designer bags baggage, paper, plastic and that duffel bag mess that we should’ve been thrown out years, months and weeks ago. Why do we hold on to BAGGAGE?, becasue we are comfortable with our mess, we don’t value ourselves enough to throw that OLD mess away,We rather wallow in the pigs pen than to feast at the Masters table. We rather have a pity party instead of a Celebration of life, We rather live in the land of lack than Abundance Ave. We rather walk in weariness instead of Walking it out with Jesus. We rather be the dumping ground for others than , be a light in darkness, we rather talk about what we could’ve ,would’ve or should’ve done instead of getting up and being proactive in our situations.

Decide today, right now that you NO longer work for B. F.I. or Waste Management and get rid of all that waste and garbage out of your life. You deserve it , You are worthy to be set free, You are a child of the most high God.

Now ask the question : What’s in your bag , then throw it away
