From Deadlier than the Male 2: More Prisoners of Eternity.

On Easter Day, 1525, a young servant girl by the name of Elizabeth Barton fell ill whilst working in the house of her master in the village of Aldington in Kent. With her throat swollen and barely able to walk she lay ill for seven months. The doctors that were called to her bedside were baffled by her condition. For long periods at a time she was totally immobile and appeared to be in a trance-like state. She soon began to have clairvoyant visions and claimed to be able to see souls in the afterlife and was in direct communication with God. It also seemed that she was able to speak without moving her lips. The words, it was said, emerged from her body as if the voice within her was of another.

Her condition soon came to the attention of William Warham, the Archbishop of Canterbury, who sent an Episcopal Commission to investigate her case. They found her to be neither a dissembler nor unorthodox in her beliefs. She spoke only of the Mass and Confession, they said. Cleared of any wrongdoing she was carried from the Chapel at Court-le-Street in triumph by the crowd of admirers that had gathered to hear the verdict, miraculously cured, or so it seemed.

The fit and healthy Elizabeth now became a nun at the Benedictine Convent of St Sepulchre’s. But here her trances and revelations only seemed to intensify. Though her supposedly divine messages remained theologically orthodox, they were being relayed at a time when there was about to be a profound shift in English religious thinking. Even so, she may well have been left alone had her predictions not begun to impinge upon the realm of politics.

Still by 1528, she had become something of a Tudor celebrity. So famous was she that she had a private meeting with the Chancellor, Cardinal Thomas Wolsey. He was impressed by this simple woman of little education. So much so that he was to arrange two meetings for her with the King himself. It was at the second of these meetings, however, that everything was to change for Elizabeth.

In January, 1528, Henry VIII announced his intention to divorce his wife Katherine of Aragon and marry the notorious courtesan Anne Boleyn. Katherine was hugely popular with the common people whilst Anne Boleyn was regularly referred to as that ” Goggle-Eyed Whore.”

At their second meeting Elizabeth spoke to the King of his proposed marriage to Anne Boleyn. She told him that should he persist ” he should no longer be King of his Realm and die a Villains death.” That he should be aware of the dire consequences that would follow. God had spoken to her and said that the marriage was blasphemous in His eyes and that Henry would be dead within one month of taking his marriage vows.

Henry did not respond but remained silent to what in some quarters could have been perceived as a threat. Indeed, he did not react at all to Elizabeth Barton’s latest revelation for almost a year. Perhaps he did so out of fear of God’s wrath, perhaps because the Holy Maid of Kent was more popular amongst the common people than he was. After all, thousands made the pilgrimage to her Convent to pray for her, or in the hope of being touched by her. But her opposition to the Royal Marriage and the fast-moving English Reformation could not remain unchallenged.

The King’s agents now began to spread rumours that the Holy Maid of Kent was not all that she seemed. She had engaged in sex with priests, it was said. That she had lascivious thoughts about both men and women, that her thirst for lust was unquenchable, that she was little more than a common whore and a charlatan.

When in May, 1533, Henry formally announced his divorce from Katherine of Aragon, Elizabeth went public with her revelations. In September of that same year she was arrested and charged with treason.

Such was her status that John Fisher, the Bishop of Rochester, was in regular communication with her, and the ex-Chancellor Sir Thomas More visited her in prison. But neither her celebrity nor the love of the people could save her. The successor to William Warham as Archbishop of Canterbury was Thomas Cranmer, the prime mover, along with the Chancellor Thomas Cromwell, of the English Reformation. He was determined to be rid of this troublesome woman. In a letter dated 20 December, 1533, he described his first meeting with her: ” When she brought hither and laid before the Image of Our Lady, her face was wonderfully disfigured, her tongue hanging and her eyes being in a manner plucked and laid upon her cheeks and so greatly disordered. Then there was a voice heard speaking within her belly, as it had been in a tun, her lips not greatly moving; she all that while continuing by the space of three hours in a trance.”

Under torture the Holy Maid of Kent confessed all. She had not received Divine Revelations at all but had merely possessed the talent of ventriloquism that meant she could speak without moving her lips that gave her lies and deceits a credibility that they may not otherwise have had. She was convicted of treason on the basis of her confession. Even though evidence obtained by torture, even in Tudor times, was considered inadmissible as evidence in a Court of Law.

Elizabeth Barton, the Holy Maid of Kent, was hanged at Tyburn with seven of her closest associates on 20 April, 1534. She was 28 years of age.

Arguably the greatest buccaneering and piracy tale ever told - too funny for words.

BOOK REVIEW GEORGE MACDONALD FRASER THE PYRATES.

1994 Harper Collins Press.

The late great Fraser took time off from penning his brilliant Flashman novels to write this hilarious, shameless buccaneering romp.

Here is a never-never Merrie Olde England, with an author reminding us throughout that it’s a World no one ever saw for real. Here are romanticised pirates (sorry, Pyrates).

The British secret service assigns Captain Avery, stiff of lip, sharp of sword, but dim and virginal, to protect a crown of jewels on its voyage to Madagascar. Avery falls foul of cut-throat, the real Thomas Blood, who once genuinely tried to take the Crown Jewels from the Tower Of London, Blood’s nefarious treachery is ruined by the arrival of a fleet of other Pyrates, including Amazonian tigress, Black Sheba, a British Pyrate who thinks he is French following a blow to the head and a dwarf with a wooden leg.

When the crown is split up between the rogues, Avery must give chase for its recovery, and secure the hand in marriage of lover, Vanity, overcoming a growing sense of lust for Sheba on the way.

With a crazed repulsive Spanish don seeking marital rape, and enemies all sides, what hope is there for Avery’s success? Especially with a pool full of man-eating octopus to contend with too.

Plenty really, given Fraser’s sense of the laws of pirate clichés. Dungeons always come with secret passages, and pyrate ships have big banqueting halls, as a sword fight in a twelve by twelve cabin would lack spectacle.

The story is as exciting as it is shamelessly absurd. Blood stows away on a ship oblivious of hordes of other stowaways all on independent missions and so well hidden that they never meet. This is a dangerous book to read on a bus as laughing like a maniac gets strange looks from the other passengers.

It’s a shame Fraser never wrote a sequel and that the makers of the Pirates Of The Caribbean movies didn’t take too much inspiration here.

Aaarrr Arthur Chappell

Your no doubt aware of my article on "the Constitution: it does matter." Well here's another one of my rants about the Constitution mattering more than politics.

Image via Wikipedia

What makes a person a traitor? Is it defying the country? Raising arms against the government? Is it someone who betrays the principles of their countries founding fathers? or is it people who make a claim that defending the government and not the principles, is loyalty? I ask you the reader: what do you consider an act of treason?

To me an act of treason is when the leaders and it’s followers abandon reason and common sense to promote their best interests.

What Emperor Bush, his servant Darth Cheney and War Minister Rumsfeld is such an act. They went ahead with the invasion of Iraq with Congressional approval and those that voted for them considered it UN-American not to attack Iraq.

What do they know of being an American when they haven’t read the constitution?

If they had read the Constitution, they would know that Article One, Section Eight of the constitution clearly says that Congress has the power to declare war, not the office of the President.

Yet ever since Emperor Bush and Darth Cheney’s ascension to the throne, they have chosen not to go to congress for any approval and those in congress choose not to defy them out of loyalty to the party. Even with Bush and Cheney out of office, the office of the President continues to disregard the constitution not just when it comes to war, but civil liberties.

Even after 9/11 and controversy of Abu Ghraib, their still is no regard for the 8th and 4th amendment, both have been disregarded in the so-called “war on terror” and “national security”. We’ve seen through the lies and we know for a fact that what Congress, the Senate, the House and the office of the President are ones who have committed acts of treason against the United States and it’s people.

So I ask you, the reader again: What is treason?

One Short page on recent Obamanations.

President Oblahblah, the Puppet-in-Chief is an empty suit. He not only does NOT deserve re-election, he deserves to be impeached on numerous counts of failing to uphold the Constitution and protect the Republic from all enemies domestic (like him) and foreign (like him?) Below is just one small example among many instances of assault and battery on the U.S. Constitution and the American people.

While he was avoiding all leadership responsibility and any work in the American interest (as usual) on a recent junket to Brazil he signed an executive order to “loan” $2 billion of our money to a Brazilian company to drill for offshore oil all of which is contracted to be delivered to China. The largest shareholder in this company is the Rothschild stooge, George Soros, who bundled most of the illegal offshore contributions that bought the 08 election for The Suit.

Flying home from Brazil on our dime, he stopped in El Salvador to say he was going to push an amnesty for illegal aliens (including Salvadoran MS-13 gang bangers.) My next websites will be ImpeachtheSonofaBitch.com, ImpeachPAC.com and TreasonPAC.com.

Stay tuned. Help Boot the Suit.

Before anybody accuses me of racism, let me mention a few things. As I said many times after the Billion Dollar 2008 Election, I did not have a problem with a black president per se. I just would have preferred Bill Cosby or one of the many unsung heroes who have worked so hard to

help lift the black underclass out of their degradation and victimhood and move them off the plantation. Speaking of Plantations/Life in the Big City, read my capsule version of my multi-year campaign to rebuild America’s inner cities and create thriving local economies with locally owned housing plants and satellite businesses: Urban Redevelopment Background

There is probably more deep-set, hardcore racism in The Suit, Mrs. Suit, the Attorney General, the Suit Supervisor (Valerie Jarrett), the Spiritual Advisor to the Suit (Rev. J. Wrong) and the whole damn gang than there is in all the remaining 213 members of the KKK. Boot the Suit.

Innocent man is not only illegally arrested, detained, and tortured for a month, but he also loses his job for missing time at work.

*Article originally published by Alex Todd on YOUniversity Hub

In February, 45 Zimbabweans were illegally arrested and detained for merely watching video footage of North African revolutionary activity. In their filthy, lice-infested prison cells, they were brutally tortured and denied medical attention and often food. Six of these individuals still face charges of treason, a crime punishable by death. They are now out on bail and awaiting their next court appearance. To find out more about this case, click here.

Mr. Eddson Chakuma is one of the six still facing charges. He was recently dismissed by his employer, the United Food & Allied Workers Union of Zimbabwe, for missing time at work while he was in prison. Eddson supports himself, his wife, his child, and his father with his income. Not only did his family go without this money for a month while he was illegally detained, but now that he is without a job, he and his family have no source of income whatsoever. In addition to groceries and utility bills, Eddson also has expensive medical bills from being tortured in prison – he was repeatedly lashed on the bottom of his feet and on his backside.

Eddson’s lawyer is currently preparing an appeal to his employer in hopes of reclaiming his job. If, after two appeals, he is not given his job back, Eddson must appeal to the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare who will try to negotiate an agreement between him and his employer. If this fails, his case will be taken to the Labour Court, a process that can take up to a year. Finally, if the dispute has yet to be resolved at that point, the case will then be taken to the Supreme Court, where a final decision will be made.

Eddson and the others still facing treason charges appear in court on April 20 to hear the latest developments in the treason case. In the meantime, Eddson and his family remain in desperate need of financial assistance to keep up with daily expenses while he continues to fight for his job.

What you can do

To contact or send financial support to Eddson, please email him at:
echakuma1@yahoo.com

To kindly express your support of Eddson, please email his former employer at:
unitedfood@zol.co.zw

If you belong to a union (or know people who do), Eddson politely asks that you do what you can to mobilize union support for him. Please have the appropriate union member(s) send a message of solidarity for Eddson to his former employer at the address listed above.

The Frog Lake Massacre was an uprising by the Cree during the period of the North-West Rebellion. Led by a young warrior called Wandering Spirit the group attacked the village of Frog Lake in the North West Territories and nine settlers were killed.

The village is in what is today Alberta, and the Cree were angered by what they saw as unfair treaties delivered by the Canadian government as well as the dwindling size of the buffalo herds. The buffalo were the major source of food for the Cree and their chief, Big Bear had been planning resistance to what they saw as intrusion by the white settlers. The anger the Cree held was largely for the local Indian Agent, Thomas Quinn, he had often treated the Cree with a level of arrogance and was usually harsh when dealing with them.

Wandering Spirit had taken a small band of men with him against the wishes of his chief, Big Bear. They first took Thomas Quinn hostage inside his home. Then extended their action against other villagers, claiming more hostages and eventually had control of the village. Two priests were among those taken and all were assembled inside the church. The order was given to move the hostages to a Cree camp a few miles outside the village.

Thomas Quinn refused to be taken from the village, he was shot in the head and killed. Another 8 men were then killed, including the two priests. One man who had managed to escape from the church then made his way out of the village to raise the alarm. More than seventy villagers were then taken hostage.

The group of Cree were finally arrested after the Canadian government acted over the growing problem of unrest in Western Canada. The six men were convicted on charges of treason and hanged. Their hanging together with two other Cree that had been convicted of murder was and still is the largest mass execution in the history of Canada.

Although the Cree chief had no part in the attack, he was also charged with treason for the organized resistance he had been a part of amongst his tribe. He was jailed for three years.

Henri Philippe Petain, was born on 24 April, 1856, in Cauchy-a-la-Tour in the Pas de Calais region of France, the son of a farmer. He made little impression at school and grew to be a reserved young man who was notable for long periods of sustained silence as he was for any more obvious charms. In 1876, he joined the French Army and attended the St Cyr Military Academy. Refusing to go along with the accepted French military philosophy of elan, or the furious full-frontal assault, instead insisting that “firepower kills”, his career within the army was unspectacular and his rise through the ranks painfully slow. Indeed, by the spring of 1914, having at last made the rank of Colonel but knowing that no further promotion was possible, aged 58, he bought a house and decided to retire. The outbreak of the First World War changed all this and he was hastily recalled from retirement where rapid promotion did at last come his way. He was to prove a competent, if unimaginative and cautious commander, and by early 1916, he was General of the Second Army stationed at Verdun.

Henri Philippe Petain

On 21 February, 1916, the German Army launched a furious assault upon the Fortress of Verdun. The German Commander, Erich von Falkenhayn, had targeted Verdun as an iconic symbol of French resistance (it had held out for the duration of the Franco-Prussian War) that the French would not dare let fall. He would, he believed, be able to “bleed the French Army white.” Outlying forts were easily captured in the first few days of the assault and these early German successes made it appear that the fortress was about to fall. Petain, who had earlier been dragged from the bed of a prostitute, was ordered to stem the German advance on Verdun. He quickly set about reorganising the French front-line, troop formations were rotated in and out of the trenches every two weeks, the transport system to the front-line, the so-called Sacre Voie (Sacred Road) was secured and kept open, costly and pointless counter-attacks were ceased, and he instead forced the Germans to endure heavy and constant shelling. The German advance was indeed stemmed but the battle did not end until 16 December and this meat-grinder war was to see 163,000 French and 141,000 German dead. Even so, Petain had rescued what appeared to have been an impossible situation, and by doing so had become a national hero. Also, by refusing to sacrifice his men unnecessarily he had earned himself the reputation of being a soldiers General. Despite his success, however, he had also earned a reputation within the Allied High Command and amongst politicians, as a cautious commander who displayed an unwillingness to fight, so when General Joffre was replaced as Commander of the French Army, he was overlooked in favour of the more aggressive Robert Nivelle.

On 16 April, 1917, Nivelle launched a massive offensive on the German held Chemin des Dames Ridge. After ten days of repeated assaults, furious fighting, and 271,000 French casualties, few, if any, significant gains had been made. Following so closely on the heels of the bloodbath at Verdun the French soldier had had enough. They mutinied and refused to leave their trenches. Officers orders were ignored, some were even shot at and taken prisoner. Soldiers Committees were formed and representatives elected. They would defend the front but would make no further attacks. Those reserves marching towards the front-line were bleated at like sheep, and what had started as a localised mutiny soon spread to infect the entire French Army. It seemed as if it was on the point of total disintegration. Nivelle was sacked to be replaced by the Soldiers General, Philippe Petain.

Petain, immediately set about trying to restore morale. He addressed the soldiers directly and told them there would be no more advances, no more meaningless waste of life. He had their trust and they believed him. He doubled their rations and granted extended leave to those who had for so long been on the front-line. Of the 629 men sentenced to death by court-martial he ensured that only 28, those who could be shown to have fired upon their superiors, were actually executed. Slowly he restored the French Army’s ability to fight.

Petain, had proved himself an able General and one who had the trust of his men, but his mindset was always geared towards caution. In March 1918, the Germans launched Operation Michael, their last great offensive on the Western Front. Using new tactics that included short but intensive artillery bombardment, stormtroopers, flame-throwers, and gas attack, they quickly smashed through the British lines. The situation was soon desperate and Field Marshal Haig, the Commander of the British Army requested urgent French support. Petain refused, saying he would withdraw and defend Paris, which would created a fatal gap in the Allied lines. Haig accused Petain of being in a Blue Funk and demanded that he be replaced. A desperate situation calls for desperate measures and so despite his popularity with the army the obdurate Petain was replaced by Ferdinand Foch who became the Commander-in-Chief of all Allied forces on the Western Front. The Allies were to survive the German onslaught and Foch was to order a series of brilliantly executed counter-attacks that were to lead a general advance, in which Petain played his part, that was to bring the war to its conclusion.

Despite his demotion Petain had had a good war, and in 1919 he received his Marshal’s baton. Such was his popularity that he was persuaded, against his better judgement, to stand for the Presidency of the Third Republic that same year. In this, however, he failed miserably. Between the wars he was to hold a number of prominent posts including Inspector General of the Army, Minister of War, and Minister of State. He supported the building of the defensive Maginot Line along France’s north-eastern frontier with Germany and advocated an isolationist and neutral French foreign policy. But France between the wars was hopelessly politically divided. The Left and the Right clashed on the streets of Paris and Governments came and went. It was simply not possible to adopt a coherent policy of national defence, and Petain was unable to impose his will. For though personally popular he was a man of the Right, and his politics were not. He was of peasant stock, stoical, phlegmatic, essentially humourless, reactionary, set in his ways, and firm in his convictions. He blamed the Third Republic for the moral decay of French society and feared a Communist takeover. When in June, 1936, the left-wing Popular Front Government was elected he firmly believed that it would mean the death of France. It was an opinion shared by much of the right-wing press which began to openly declare for a dictatorship, and their preferred candidate was Philippe Petain. Indeed, the ageing Marshal himself was becoming increasingly truculent and reactionary, so much so that he was becoming an irritant to the Government. In 1939, he was made Ambassador to Franco’s recently victorious fascist regime in Spain, where he would find a more appreciative audience for his views.

By 1 September, 1939, France was yet again at war with Germany. The country was ill-prepared for yet another conflict. Exhausted by years of social division and political in-fighting its army was underfunded and underpaid. There was no enthusiasm for war and no real desire to take the fight to the enemy. A defensive mentality dominated French strategical thinking. They would simply remain in their fortifications and wait for the Germans to attack. In the coldest winter for decades soldiers were forced to freeze in their trenches with nothing to do. Those who returned from leave would often be drunk, others simply did not return at all. The so-called Phoney War would take its toll on French morale. Petain, the still popular Soldiers General, was recalled from Spain.

On 10 May, 1940, the German Army launched its blitzkreig on the low-countries. Holland and Belgium were quickly overrun and the French Commander General Gamelin concentrated the bulk of his army on the northern frontier expecting this to be the main thrust of the German advance. On 12 May, German mechanised divisions struck west through the lightly defended and supposedly impassable Ardennes Forest. By 15 May, the Germans had crossed the River Meuse and the French Army was in full-retreat. France was in danger of being split into two and the Allied armies in the north cut-off and surrounded. Even the normally implaccable and belligerent French Premier Paul Reynald felt obliged to contact his British counterpart Winston Churchill to declare that France was beaten. Churchill was able to stiffen his resolve but even so the situation was perilous indeed.

Despite increasingly desperate efforts the Allies were unable to stem the German advance. By the end of May, the British were evacuating their army from the beaches of Dunkirk. In Paris the Government was undecided what to do as preparations were made to evacuate the city. Reynald wanted to continue to fight even if this meant abandoning France altogether and doing so from the French colonies in north Africa. The Army High Command and Petain, however, insisted all was lost. Churchill declared that Petain had been a defeatist in the First World War and was still one now. He offered to grant full British citizenship to all Frenchmen and effectively merge both countries into one if France would continue to fight. But despite his protestations and support for Reynald the French Premier lost the vote in Cabinet and was forced to resign. Petain was appointed in his place.

On 14 June, Paris was occupied. Three days later from Bordeaux, where the Government had been forced to flee, Petain announced in a radio broadcast to the French people that he would be seeking armistice terms. On 22 June, France formally surrendered.

In line with the Armistice terms France was divided into three zones, northern and western France including the Atlantic coastline were to be occupied by the Germans, and a small strip of land along the Alps were allocated to the Italians to placate Mussolini. The rest of France was to remain nominally independent.

On 1 July, the French Government moved to the spa town of Vichy and nine days later Petain was appointed Head of State and granted full-powers. He immediately set about trying to put France right, as he saw it. He had long blamed the Third Republic for the endemic corruption that had plagued the country and believed that it was Liberal Republicanism and its scion Socialism that had led to moral decay and the dilution of the French fighting spirit. So France would no longer be a Republic but a State. Liberal values and secularism were disavowed in favour of an authoritarian and Catholic social hierarchy. The rallying cry of the revolution liberte, egalite, fraternite would be replaced with travail, famille, patrie (work, family, fatherland). The very idea of the equality of man was dismissed as an absurdity. The National (conservative) Revolution was underway.

Those civil servants known to have republican sympathies were dismissed from their posts and their replacements made to swear allegiance to the new regime, all criticism of Nazi Germany was forbidden, the Catholic Church was encouraged to take a more leading role in society, and a massive campaign of propaganda was undertaken to convince the people of the benefits of the old new France.

Petain meets Hitler

On 24 October, Petain had a secret meeting with Adolf Hitler at Montoire. He was reluctant to do so but had been persuaded by his right-hand man, Pierre Laval, that it would be to France’s benefit if he did. Throughout the initial meeting he remained silent but when it came to discuss those issues at hand he proved himself a wily and tough negotiator. On 30 October, in a radio broadcast to the French people he told them of his meeting with Hitler and declared, ” I enter today into the way of collaboration. ” Words that still haunt France to this day.

The Vichy regime did nothing to impede the Germans in any way. Indeed, many within the Government were eager to facilitate the Germans in any way they could. France prior to the outbreak of war had been a hotbed of fascist propaganda and activity with organisations such as Action Francais and the Croix de Feu prominent. Many on the far-right now believed they had carte-blanche to impose their wishes on the population as a whole. Petain did little to rein them in. Indeed, with little prompting from the Germans Vichy had already passed a series of anti-Semitic laws. So when the Germans began rounding up French Jews in August, 1941, many Vichy officials were enthusiastic participants. Most of these Jews were incarcerated in the most appalling conditions at the transit camp of Drancy near Paris where they were guarded by Frenchmen. In total more than 75,000 were transported to Auschwitz, including 11,000 children, very few ever returned. Was this what Petain meant by collaboration?

On 11 November, 1942, in response to the Allied invasion of north Africa the Germans occupied the whole of France. This was despite Petain ordering that Vichy forces resist the Allies in all of France’s colonial possessions, which initially they did. But his commander in north Africa, Admiral Darlan, who was assassinated not long after, had ordered that they lay down their arms. With the occupation of the entire country any pretence to an independent France came to an end. Even so, Vichy remained responsible for the civil administration.

In January, 1943, the Milice, a brutal armed right-wing militia, was formed under the command of the fascist Joseph Darnand, whom Petain was to appoint his Secretary for the Maintenance of Public Order. They ruthlessly hunted down, tortured, and executed suspected members of the resistance. Petain was later to complain of their excesses. Vichy also provided the Germans with a constant stream of French slave labour, and many Frenchmen joined the SS. Indeed, the Charlemagne Division were to be the last troops defending Hitler’s Bunker in Berlin in April, 1945.

On 7 September, 1944, following the Allied invasion of Fortress Europe, the entire Vichy Cabinet was removed to Sigmaringen in Germany where they became a Government-in-exile. Petain, however, now aged 89, refused to cooperate any further. Instead, he insisted to be allowed to return to France as a private citizen. He must have known that to do so would mean his being put on trial for his life. Even so, he was adamant and on the day of his 90th birthday he was driven across the Swiss border into France.

Arrested upon his return he was tried for treason on 25 July, 1945. Barring an opening statement where he questioned the validity of the Court to try him he did little to defend himself, preferring to remain silent. On 15 August, he was found guilty and sentenced to death. Charles de Gaulle, the Head of the Provisional Government, and a former protege of Petain’s, commuted the sentence to life imprisonment on the grounds of his advanced old age and previous services to France.

Unlike so many of Hitler’s other Qusiling’s, Petain was no fascist and had no craving for power for its own sake. He was, however, a bigoted right-wing reactionary set in his ways who did a great deal of harm to his country and caused so much pain for so many of its people. He was misguided in believing that by collaborating with Hitler he could maintain the integrity of France and secure its future as an independent sovereign nation state.

He died in prison at IIe d’Yeu on 23 July, 1951, aged 95, he had been senile for a number of years. At first the Government insisted that his tombstone read, ” No Profession,” but they later relented and instead it was inscribed with, ” Marshal of France.” But his remains have ever since been denied reburial at Verdun, as he requested.

While delusional poor “observers” are comparing names “Obama” and “Osama” they seem to forget something more important.

Where is Osama bin Laden?

My god, he’s not a freaking ghost!

He must be somewhere!

It seems that people forgot about this bogeyman.

Or the people still believe that American government is searching for him in Iraq, Afghanistan and sometimes even Pakistan?

This would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic.

Thousands people have died in these wars and most of them are not Americans and we all know that they lied to American people and to the world but the liars are still well respected and are even selling books…

How sick is this world?

American army has the best equipment in the world, the best technology and the best training for their soldiers, intelligence, satellites, robots and flying drones…

Shouldn’t all of that be enough to catch one terrorist suspect, no matter how smart or skillful he might be?

They don’t even mention him anymore.

For them, the story is finished, they don’t need him for now.

And you?

You don’t think about Osama bin Laden because they fill your brain with Lady Gaga, Oscar, Super Bowl and other crap.

Enough of it!

Enough!
