Just got wind of the fact that Triond has fallen in love. It’s Valentine’s day, you know, and the spirit of St Valentine’s touched them too! It’s all mushy…cuddly bears,chocolate,candy and pretty pink hearts. Oh! And not forgetting the traditional theme of today. Yeah! It’s Red Roses and love poems all the way…For Triond is in Love today.

My newsfeed is full of Valentine  and Love…it’s contagious! I’ve just passed on my greetings to friends out here(got some of your names in there too http://socyberty.com/holidays/a-very-happy-valentines-day-to-my-friends-on-triond/). And I know I should get down to some serious writing but my heart is flying…

Nothing…but still I feel so happy to be here today and share with so many people in just so many different corners of the world the beautiful feeling of love. Triond gives me that platform to express and share…here,there, everywhere. Almost anywhere in the world.

Care to celebrate with some cake?

I was scrolling back down memory lane today – through my published content pages, and I happened upon this one that I posted on my third Triondiversary.  I noticed that the date was exactly one year ago. So that would make this my fourth Triondiversary. WoooHooo!

My first thought was “What the hell am I still doing here?” My second thought was that I shouldn’t use language like that, I have a reputation to live up to. My next thought was, “What the hell, they already know that I am not perfect.” Now I am thinking, “Oh, no… not another stream of consciousness rant … but I am swimming without first plotting a course here again, so I beg your indulgence with another rant. It is, after all, my party and I’ll rant if I want to.

I really never thought that I would still be working for pennies, writing for Triond. I keep getting messages that invite me to other sites where I am apparently sure to make a lot more money, and I have made a little more at Webanswers and Helium this last year, but something always keeps drawing me back here.

It’s not really a something that keeps me here, it’s a someone. Actually, it’s a whole lot of someones – all of you folks who keep reading the rubbish I write and leaving nice comments.

I scrolled back a little further, and found this little gem, that I wrote when I was excited about having my fiftieth article posted at Triond. That was when we were all a little younger, a bit thinner, and perchance a teensy bit more naive in thinking that we could make some money here. Oh, how jaded I have become! And how melodramatic I still am!

I think that I have hit upon my raison d’être for staying here. It is because I can just write whatever I am feeling each day. Most of the other sites don’t want rambling rants, they don’t appreciate my humour (even on those days when my muse is tap dancing on my funny bone), and they don’t care to hear my opinions. They want factual answers to specific questions, and there are few if any opportunities for me to share my faith in Jesus Christ. He is the reason that I can smile through the pain and celebrate whatever little victories come my way.

Little victories like my fourth Triondiversary. If you have read this far, thank you. I am honoured that people actually read what I write.

Well, I know this article is not that long, but I just wanted to write this. I do enjoy watching those shows because I am a big horror movie fan, but to believe in it does not make any sense. Like I said, the technology we have today can make anything look real and possible. 

It was a cave quiet and hill silence, the other day, I had no clue that I had to lose some impressive deals from my life. I was unaware of the facts that my long time friends had already decided to shut the windows of hope from Triond House. I was a bit shocked and too much worried that they vanished from Triond, my friends list and even from the comment field. How was that possible?

Later, I realized, they might close their Triond account for good. What made them do like that? Why didn’t they even inform their friends about that? How is it possible to erase every single info from Triond?

I tried to find out about them from every possible resources, but failed. If you know anything about them please comment on this post. I will be more than happy.

I continued on and started to find different types of websites that paid you for your time on-line. I found a social network called PeopleString. They seemed real good, and they are, don’t get me wrong. They have different member levels. Obviously the most expensive is where you would make the most money with. But their packages were way of the money scale. One of the was like 600 dollars. Now that is off the hook. So, I signed up as a free member. I am still there as a free member, and I will remain a free member. I make some money there, slowly. But it helps. And it does not take long to do a few tasks. So, I went further in my research. 

I found a forum, MyLot. Now I signed up with them and I did not totally understand how it worked. So what I did was stay away for a while. I continued looking. I found a few other sites that made me some moeny. I am not going to name everyone of them. But I eventually returned to MyLot and I was surprised to see that I can actually make money there. And I did. But like most sites, referrals are the key. I currently only have a few there. I am still looking to get more. But I love it there and Will remain a member for ever. I since then found more sites that pay including the best one of all, MatesGate. That site rocks. And it pays. 

Currently I work with like 25 sites. I am in the process of stream lining everything and trying to maximize everything. I need to eliminate some of them, you know, the unproductive ones. Then I will be in a good place. I know what you’re saying, why I am talking about all these sites and I am writing this on Triond. Well, I am a member of Triond as well. And this is one of the ones I will be keeping. I like it here. 

Well, this is my little adventure on making money. I know this article was not filled with statistics or anything. I am just letting you know how I make money on-line. But what you do have to remember, those sites that promise mega bucks are all scams. None of them work. The only real way to earn on-line is putting in the time and effort. Just like working for a living, you need to dedicate your time to your on-line work. And if you work it right and get a good amount of referrals. That’s my article. 

I will very much miss my Triond family!

That is why I will do my very best here to induce, seduce, and inspire my friends to ‘follow’ me to HubPages – where we can continue to ‘follow’ and support each other in what we love most – writing!

Then why? Why go to the trouble of leaving somewhere warm and familiar – to venture somewhere cold and strange?

Here’s why:

• The powers that be at Triond couldn’t be bothered to respond to their weary, justifiably concerned, polite, and LOYAL masses!
• The powers that be at Triond actually attempted to DELETE comments made by said weary, justifiably concerned, polite, and loyal masses!!

A writing site blatantly trampling on 4th Amendment rights AND ignoring direct queries?

Nuff said – or, more appropriately in this case – NOT said!

It certainly isn’t that I might receive $7.00 a month instead of $15.00! Neither amount adds up to a hill of beans – and barely buys a can of ‘em!

It’s the principle! It’s the Karma!

AND…it’s the arrogance!

Had they only spoken one word! One word to any of the multiple articles or direct personal messages wondering at the shockingly unsubtle cut in pay to their contributors! One word to show that they at least acknowledged the concern – whether they implemented changes or not!

They made a conscious decision to ignore us.

Therefore, I make a conscious decision to leave them. It is clear that I have no worth here – on several levels!

And so, I implore you, fellow Trionders: Rise up! Be brave! Stand up for what is WRITE!

We are the 99% that can make an impact on the 1 – but – only if we work together!
