Being mad at your mom? This is why she wont let you go to the mall.

If you asked your mom to go to the mall with friends for the first time, but she wont let you and gave you a straight up no without an explanation then instead of having a fight with your mom think about why she wont let your go.

1. Your mom is over-protective

If she is over protective then you have to understand why. She doesn’t want you getting hurt and she still beilieves that your her little baby still.

If your over the age of 13 then you should tell her that your not a kid anymore. You will be with friends and she won’t have to worry. If she keeps treating you like a baby then you won’t learn how to grow up. It’s all in the experience.

2. She Watches to much news, or drama shows

I’m not saying that’s bad. It’s just what people see on tv could process through their mind as reality. They will think something terrible will happen to you. Either way, living in the city or living in a small town, their is always still the small chance of something happening.

Ask for a cell phone if your don’t have one already. You can set a time limit with your parents to call every 30 mins or so. Give your mom your friend’s cell phone numbers too if she is still not convinced. You could also offer to let your mom tag along. It may be weird, but she could just stay behind.

3. Your mom might have something else planned

She might have something planned for that night, and wants you to be home for it. It could be a suprise. You never know what could happen.

Ask your her why

If she doesn’t give you a reason the first time, maybe she will the second time. If she keep’s saying just because, then she is keeping something from you. The most common reasons would be the one’s above. Don’t get in a fight with your mom just because of a silly shopping trip. It may be important to you, but you will have many more opprotunities to go with friends.

If she still doesn’t let you go, then ask if you could take them instead of your friends parents. Your mom will definetely feel much more safier and happier to know that you aren’t embarrassed to go with your mom and she can still watch over you.

The populations of people with disabilities who need accommodations in the U.S. and Europe are important. In the U.S. alone, more than 54 million disabled people, many of whom want to travel and are able to do it, but not always.

The populations of people with disabilities who need accommodations in the U.S. and Europe are important. In the U.S. alone, more than 54 million disabled people, many of whom want to travel and are able to do it, but not always.

Lack of suitable housing in the scheme of travel was a long barrier to people with disabilities. Even when the hotel stay can be found that are tailored to individual needs, restrictions on access to the desired destination sites often allow these people to enjoy the opportunity to travel.

Provisions are often found in transportation, but the disabled must face problems with access to restaurants, hotels, museums and other destinations of the trip. Too many may find to be very disappointing and emotionally exhausting. More simply never try, believe that will not be able to enjoy.

Others may have tried in the past, only to discover the terrible experience. For those who have traveled alone to experience the disappointment of the unavailability of the journey, they are not just negative emotions associated with the experience, but also cost. They lost money on something that has come very far from the expectations we have for this event.

Many disabled people have dreams of traveling has simply given up. Even though they know they have the right to enjoy the same opportunities made available to persons without disabilities have also come to believe that simply not worth all the work, emotional stress, and the huge disappointment that we consider the face trying to get .

While the last decade to support feelings of people with disabilities in accessible tourism, recent changes in the industry are the open world of travel to many places around the world. Disabled people may be surprised to learn many of the tourist industry began to be popular. Number of companies that offer accessible tourism has increased dramatically over the past five years. Most service areas of these businesses in North America or Europe, but the improvement for people with disabilities is extremely important.

These changes have produced a number of reasons. The ethics of the matter is no reason. Some companies have taken their ethical responsibilities about equal access and accommodation in a serious consideration, even before they were forced by law to implement these measures. Unfortunately, most companies through either ignorance or fear of the expenses that can be made no change in availability until they are forced to do so. Many, even then, did the minimum required by the regulatory provisions.

Tourism is after all a business and often, companies must see the benefits that may exist in a company before they are vested in him. Accessible tourism is no different from any other company in another company where a new population can be exploited to add the potential benefits.

Many in the travel industry have discovered the untapped market of people with disabilities. Recent studies in both the U.S. and Europe have helped the travel industry, with specific figures on the number of persons with disabilities, children who are able to travel, and even the figures for those who like to travel. These statistics have led many in the tourism industry to recognize the full availability measures can affect the success of tourism.

Many people in the UK and continental Europe is increasingly ready for easy access for the disabled. Many older cities in the U.S. and Europe, this unique challenge, with narrow streets and rough, and some outdated facilities available to older buildings, but many are beginning to integrate the ingenuity accessibility for people who need them. This trend is only bound to increase, as more within the tourism industry and other sectors begin to understand the market, they are missing.

If you wish to experience the rich culture and heritage of the Chinese, there is no better time to visit than Beijing during the period when the Spring Festival is celebrated.

If you wish to experience the rich culture and heritage of the Chinese, there is no better time to visit than Beijing during the period when the Spring Festival is celebrated. Popularly known as the Chinese New Year or the Lunar New Year, the Spring Festival is the most important event in the Chinese calendar. The city is filled with an air of excitement as the festival draws closer. The celebration of it sees several traditions unfold in households, whilst cultural activities can be witnessed along street walks and in public spots.

The celebration of Spring Festival originated during the period of the Shang Dynasty, and has since then become a nationwide event. The date for the beginning of the New Year of the Chinese is decided by their lunar calendar and is based upon the first full moon. It usually falls somewhere between the end of January and mid February. The whole nation goes on holiday for a period of 7 days. Almost everyone travels back home to be with their family for this grand and festive occasion.

During Spring Festival, tourists will be able to see several houses decorated with traditional and symbolic paraphernalia. Practically all houses will have beautiful red lanterns adorning either side of the front door. Many houses and buildings will have Chinese words, characters and couplets pasted on red papers along window sills and door frames which speak of good fortune and prosperity.

The whole family comes together to share a sumptuous meal on New Year’s Eve, whilst everyone gets dressed up and exchanges gifts at the dawn of the New Year. Symbolic food is eaten during Spring Festival as it is believed that certain foods signify wealth and abundance. Children are usually gifted money by elders in bright crimson envelopes as part of the New Year traditions.

As Spring Festival rolls around, Beijing’s shopping malls and stores are crowded with numerous shoppers looking to purchase gifts and new clothes for the occasion. Streets are decorated mainly with lights and large red lanterns. Cultural dances such as the dragon dance can be witnessed along street corners, and activities such as temple fairs are held for a few days in the city.

To explore the city and enjoy the excitement of Spring Festival, it is necessary to stay at a hotel that is centrally located and is within easy reach of transport links. Tourists looking for a luxury hotel Beijing that satisfies these requirements can stay at the Raffles Beijing Hotel. Among the many options of hotel accommodation Beijing, this elegant lifestyle hotel is also an iconic landmark of the cityscape.

Adapting to another culture is not always as easy as your first think ,The big challenge is to learn the language of the country ,if you speak the language many aspects of the culture are more accessible ,There maybe other big differences ,such as the type of food and when people have their meals. In some countries the main meal of the day is at midday, in others is in the evening, Food may be spicier or heavier than you are used to, with dishes and elements which are completely new. Other factors can also vary from one country to another. Time may be more or less flexible, For instance, Anglo-Saxon cultures tend to be more inflexible about time than some other cultures. Stores may close and open at different times and holidays can differ completely from one country to another. But if you miss a lot your culture or country, try to find something that makes you remember it such a as food or something that can make you feel as in you were at home, try to find it.

Death comes to us all but sometimes we don't see the signs. Sometimes the grim reaper waits until we least expect him and surprises us all. We don't always return home when we venture out.

Image via Wikipedia

I was thinking about the two families that died in two separate car accidents lately. I am sure that they didn’t get up that morning and look into the mirror and say today is a good day to die. In fact, they probably never once thought about death as they planned their days activities.

In the one where the car ran of into a small lake below our house three died on the spot and the the other later killed himself. So you could say that a whole family died that day. You can drive by that lake and its astounding beauty would never give a clue that it swallowed up three lives and sent another plunging into death through nightmares. The crosses give a people a clue that death happened there but the cloud of death has moved on to find other unsuspecting victims.

Not long after the accident above a young man driving a truck drifted over and hit head on with a car, that five children and two adults were in. Two adults and three children died. Two children left without a father and the lives of these two children forever changed and forever the memories of that day will burn in their minds. Their lives will never be the same and never again will they return to the same home they left. The crosses mark the spot but the cloud of death has again, moved on.

Being a mother of seven children I can imagine how the children may have been playing laughing never suspecting that the grim reaper was waiting just up the road. The driver never knew what was in their future, they plunged into the events so quickly they never had time to think. So fast, the end, swirled around them and snuffed out their precious lives and shocked all that heard of it.

How we all get up every morning and start our day and never once stop to think about death. We all plan vacations and trips for our families and death never enters the equation. The families above were on vacation and the excitement of all the of the trip, covered their eyes and let the stalker creep in. Death overtakes us in such a unsuspecting manner that we are left in shock when it finds us or finds someone we love and carries them away. How shocking the surprise is and how devastating the results.

A small glimpse into the unique cultural lifestyle of South Korea.

I am a Korean American lady who was adopted by Caucasian-American parents when I was an infant – too young to remember being exposed to any Korean cultural influence. Being curious, I had always wanted to be able to experience it one day. Other Korean Americans often spoke about how they believed I “should” learn more about “my” culture and that I “should” learn to speak the language as well; highly intrusive and presumptuous statements, but statements that became a running theme in my life. Though I felt a continual resentment regarding their inconsiderate statements – after all, I WAS speaking my language (I was an American) the idea of visiting and learning more about my ethnic culture still intrigued me.

Luckily, I was fortunate enough to take a month-long trip to South Korea with a close Korean American girl friend. Because she had family in the country we were able to experience South Korea in a more intimate manner; able to get a taste of what it might be like to actually live there.

Having grown up in Southern California, a place where there were only two other Asians at my entire school I was in for a big time shock. All the built up Asian-stereotypes were challenged and many were eradicated as my eyes took in the population I was born among. I saw overweight, poor, uneducated Asians. Though I searched for the Asians that fit the stereotypes I grew up believing in, they were found few and far between. And it made me realize how very much alike the American population was to the Korean population, the only difference was the superficial features and different choices of food, apparel, etc; but beneath all that, I saw the same personalities garbed in Asian features.

Some parts of South Korea were more modernized as we can find here in the United States. Seoul, Korea – the capital, was a booming large metropolitan city. Buildings shot upward into the sky and cabs screeched back and forth in the streets barely missing pedestrians, almost seeming to aim for others at times. Other cities, however, were still entirely rural, like Pusan. For example, a bathroom in this city was a mere hole in the ground that one was expected to literally squat over. Showers were simple spout-heads that were often perched above the “toilets” – a complete all-in-one bathroom set.

Also of a seemingly less modernized nature, was the notable observation of the cultural food preparing.

From the moment that my friend and I woke in the morning, her female relatives would be busily preparing breakfast. Cooking items were spread out over the wood floor: vegetables, meats, spices, utensils, and other various tools. They sat Indian style in front of their working endeavor, picking and pruning, cutting and mixing away. This was continued until approximately six to seven dishes were satisfactorily completed.

After breakfast was served, they would quickly whisk away dishes and leftovers and begin preparing after-meal fruit plates. When this was pleasantly consumed and cleared away as well, they would not stop and kick up their feet for a well-earned moment’s rest. Instead, to my surprise, they dove back into preparing the next meal. This ritual was repeated for dinner as well. It was a lifestyle that was completely beyond anything I had ever been exposed to before. Their lives seemed to literally revolve around food, with everything else being secondary.

There were many other interesting notable moments from this trip – but, this was, of course – just a glimpse of South Korea.
