The truth of you is unchangeable, being complete in all ways, reaching out for ever higher heights, never being capable of out reaching your truth, it being so very high. The gift of life is beyond all other gifts, making all of human life so very precious, honoring it in all others in quiet reverence, knowing that the truth is eternal and unchangeable. Do not disregard the sacredness of being, because human life is the most precious of all things, and completely irreplaceable.

A personal rant about the need to pull ourselves from the crumbling wreckage of ignorance and apathy.

Man we have got a long way to go as a species. The turmoil that surrounds this mortal coil at times can almost be unbearable. The topics of global climate change, failing economies, human rights violations, starving populations, globalization, genetic modification, drugs, cloning, war, genocide, and what hell can be done about it! The average person scratches their head and deems the subject too depressing, makes some comment about the futility of the matter, and proceeds to normal animal behavioral function. Critical thought has seemed to have eluded the “Hive”, and this “Hive Mind” mentality is a mold to be broken. No longer do we have to be slaves to a system put before us when we can collaborate to form new systems all together. With the plethora of information available to the world via “the web”, we can learn, build and organize in ways that never would have been imaginable in previous times. New ideas on ethics and philosophy are rising from this climate of calamity like Open Sourcing, Anonymity, and the quest for “truth” and “knowledge”. I feel a different climate coming, one where we will take manners into our own hands and live in a way that is beneficial for all. All children of all species for all time. If we as individuals and communities could occupy our minds we could do amazing things as a species. Taking control of our food, water, and energy needs will be a primary step, while eliminating systems of pollution and implementing standards for universal sustainability. Why should we idly stand aside and bide our time when we can do something about. “But what can I do?” asked the one who’s lost his way. The answer is quite simple really. First you’ve got to care. About something positive, anything…really! Then you’ve got to ask yourself: “What am i good at?” Whether it be cooking, gardening, music, engineering, programming, writing, speaking, organizing, literally anything you can do can make a dramatic difference in shaping our reality, something we forgot we had the power to do! Educate your self about whats going on in your community and begin to learn about things that would be beneficial. If we can shed the skin of apathy then our sight will be renewed.

Don’t you think it’s odd that Mitt Romney was a governor but he’s not running on that record because
when he took office job creation for that state was 35th out of 50. By the time he left it was 47th out
of 50. So much for his job creating skills.

He claims to have created 100,000 jobs at Bain. Well if you talk to American workers who had the
unfortunate luck to cross paths with Romney they’ll tell you a different story. on “Fact Checker”
they gave Romney 4 Pinocchio for embellishing the truth

Romney has proved time and again that he has no empathy for people. No remorse for harm that he
caused and no regard for the truth. Voter fraud he committed comes to mind.

The last thing we need in the Oval office is monster like him

What we know of our life is limited to what we have experienced, however one truth that every man can agree is we were all born. Whether by “natural” conception or the “turkey baster” method we all come from the union of a male and a female. There is no exception to this truth unless one would count cloning, which even after, life is nurtured and developed in the womb of a woman after being fertilized by a man without question. However one great mystery begins to come into focus at that point, the union is established but how does the development actually take place.

Even those who deny the truth of God have no evidence to explain the creation of man from seed to maturity. Our understanding is limited to conception and development after the facts. We try to explain it by DNA; however it is not known who created the code to begin with. And further why does this code apply to every living thing but every thing is built so differently. This is the goal of our existence to discover where we come from and why we are here. Why are we involved in the issues we face and who can bring resolution to it?

Understand; we know we all have a mother and father. Through both of these resources we are developed into the persons of our adulthood. Whether one or the other is not present they both shape our view of reality and truth as some understand it. With this in mind how we view life is often fashioned by the facts we experience in our formative stages. And, using this blueprint as a stage is how we are often thrown into controversies of our later life for which we seemingly can’t explain and are troubled to overcome. This is the period where our life is mapped and designed for strategic attack by our enemy and simultaneously the victorious end by the One True Living God. As we examine our childhoods ask yourself if there is one experience that has defined how you view certain aspects of your life. Whether, this is a traumatic experience or an enlightening experience.

During your examination, ask yourself, how did I feel before that experience; and how did that experience affect me in the duration; and how did I feel immediately after the experience. From this one test we can see a well of issues that we have either not dealt with or examined or a mighty stream of things we have had to overcome. For those who had to overcome what is the outlook that this or these incidents caused you? For those that choose not to deal with the situations, what has the same experience(s) taught you? How well is your ignoring benefiting your life? In most cases either road is a deeper journey into discovering exactly who you are, but even more it sets the foundation for who is ultimately in control.

One thing I noticed in these examinations was it certainly wasn’t me in control. And even more so it certainly could not have been simply my earthly mother or father. As much as my mother did for me and as much as I honor her, someone had to have given her instruction in raising me. And more than that, someone had to be her resource and strength to guide me in her absence that the foundation she laid was maintained. As to my father the same situations apply I respect his position and his title, however it was not until my adulthood that I came to the understanding of exactly his role in shaping me. I give him the honor due of his title but the reality as my child person understood it was he wasn’t there for me in the way I needed him. It was because of his absence that my studies as I understood them, were lacking in the many areas I desired to learn, and yet I now know there was a bigger classroom for me. The blueprint of my design assured I would not fall into the deceptions of my youth and therefore have to overcome more than those things I was prepared ahead of time to face.

It is in this discovery that the journey truly begins. Take a look at the Book of Psalms 22:9[1], in there we discover, God has known us, before we could even know ourselves. With this information we can understand He at some point looked at the totality of our lives and thusly set the stage for us to fulfill it, and yet He allows us to do it independently if we choose. And if we choose not to He has given us His Spirit to aid us into understanding the blueprint and building the design He has ordained for our lives. Regardless of which direction we choose He even gave us Himself to fulfill what we fail to finish in the design. Ask yourself how much control is that.

Yet, this is the God we serve

[1] Jeremiah 1:5

Indeed, there are various theories about the definition of truth. But traditionally, we know the three theories of truth is coherence, correspondence, and pragmatic (Jujun S. Suriasumantri, 1982). Meanwhile, William Michel 5 introduces the theory of truth in science, namely: the truth of coherence, correspondence truth, truth performative, pragmatic truth and the truth of the proposition. In fact, Noeng Muhadjir add one more theory is the paradigmatic truth. (Ismaun; 2001)

a. Truth coherence

Truth is the conformity of coherence or harmony between something else with something that has a higher hierarchy than anything these elements, either scheme, system, or any value. This coherence can be the sensual order of the plains like any rational transcendental.

b.Kebenaran correspondence

Korespondensial really think is to think about the evidence of something that is relevant to something else. Koresponsdensi proved the existence of relevant events in line or in the opposite direction between the expected facts with facts, the facts with the belief that it is believed, that are specific

c.Kebenaran performative

When the human mind unites everything together in a display of actual and whatever is behind it, whether theoretical, practical, and the philosophic, the display presents the actual truth. Something is true if it can diaktualkan in action.

d.Kebenaran pragmatic

The truth is concrete, the individual and the specific and practical functionality.

e.Kebenaran proposition

Proposition is a statement that contains a lot of complex concepts, which range from a subjective to an objective individual. A truth can be obtained if the true propositions. In Aristotelian logic, a proposition is true if in accordance with the formal requirements of a proposition. Another opinion is of Euclid, that the proposition is not seen from the right formally, but viewed from the right material.

paradigmatic structural f.Kebenaran

The real truth is the paradigmatic structural development of correspondence truth. Until now the regression analysis, factor analysis, and other advanced statistical analysis was interpreted in correspondence with each other element. Yet should the overall structural system is understood that relationship, because it will be able to give explanations or inferences is more thorough.

Encouraging children to always tell the truth.

For some children, depending on their age, lying to a parent can range from small fibs over who dropped the eggs on the floor and did not clean up, to big carbuncles where money has gone missing in the house and no one knows anything about it. Usually someone knows; the person who took it. In any event, a three year old knows when he tells a lie that he is doing wrong and usually the lie is to escape punishment. As he grows older and becomes more developed he may discover that telling a lie has advantages and that by telling them he not only gets what he wants, but someone else gets the blame for what he’s done. The number one disadvantage for telling a lie is that you forget what you lied about previously, and you get caught up in your own lies.

How to handle continuous and unnecessary lying

· Set strict rules with consequences for anyone stealing money from the kitty, and list the punishment which can range from a two-hour timeout to no allowance for that week. When the child is found lying, carry out the punishment and don’t veer from it. Children have to know that you mean what you say and know that there will be consequences. If you don’t act on it they will take you for granted and not pay much attention the next time you chastize them. Punishment for a toddler need not be anything greater than a two minute timeout in his room.

· As a child grows older and is more developed you can start to reason with him. Something like, “if you tell mummy a lie, I will not know when you are telling the truth and I won’t believe you again even though it might be the truth.”

· Punishment does not mean sending him for a two minute timeout where he can have the remote control to the television set. It will in fact be a reward where he can watch his own program in peace.

· Encourage a child to always tell the truth, especially when he owns up to the infraction. Always punish and reward a child without threatening that you will tell his father. That sets the father up as the bad guy.

· Don’t become frustrated and spank. Cutting into his playtime or banning him from watching television is far more effective. Don’t label your child as a liar, but work with him to improve.

Behold the Truth...

Everest may be the highest peak in the world but there is no question that Mount Annapurna so close by, with over 50 deaths in its climbing history is by far the most deadly mountain to climb on the planet.

It’s hardly a fair competition when you put Whoopi Goldberg in the same room with Jessica Alba, talking about pretty. However, if you are looking for the better actor, or even the funnier person, you’d certainly go with the Sister Act star.

You may prefer to drive a VolksWagen Beetle because it’s tiny and portable, but if you are looking for the better car and are willing to pay for it, of course you will agree that the Mercedes Benz trumps.

There’s just no beating the truth – pretty is pretty, and ugly is not. Tell me you love her ’cause she’s sweet, or you want to be with him because of his money; tell me you are marrying her because she saved your life, or that you think he’s the most caring human being in the world – just don’t tell me that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Remember the central love story of the James Cameron film Titanic, in which the peniless Jack Dawson – Di Caprio – captures the heart of the rich girl? Well one Italian passenger could well have been the inspiration for that story line. Artist Emilio Portaluppi had joined the ship at the last minute.

Travelling second class, it appears he was attracted to upper class married American woman Madeleine Astor, the young and beautiful wife of millionaire John Jacob Astor IV, who was to become, by the time she reached New York, a widow.

Apparently, there were 37 Italians, mostly hired by Luigi Gatti, manager of the exclusive A La Carte Restaurant aboard the great vessel. 34 of them died during the tragedy, but 30 -year-old Portaluppi somehow managed to survive, and is commonly believed to be one of only four passengers pulled from water and rescued in lifeboat 14.

He would not, for many years, talk about that tragic April night and his miraculous survival, until near the end of his life in 1974 at 93 years of age. Born 1881 in northern Italian Arcisate, he first went to the USA in 1903, working as a stonecutter, designer and draughtsman, and

much respected for his extraordinarily talent.

He worked not only on the New York Stock Exchange Building symbolic reliefs, but also on the Astor’s Beechwood Mansion restoration, meeting Colonel John Jacob Astor IV, one of the country’s wealthiest men, in the process. It was in 1910 that he separated from his Italian wife of seven years standing.

He then elected to pay a visit to his family in Italy, and it was on the return journey that boarded the ill-fated liner, after supposedly gettinga telegram from the Astors requesting that he join them on the maiden voyage. The Astors had been on holiday in Egypt, wanting Portaluppi to work on some new outdoor statues in their Newport villa, and helped him to travel first class as their guest.

Portaluppi revealed that he had a crush on Madeleine Astor, and was in bed when the Titanic collided with the iceberg. Finding that the lifeboats had been unlashed, and were being hurriedly filled with women and children, he was unsure what to do, and his actions thereafter are a mystery.

Wearing a life-belt, he claimed to have jumped 50 ft leap into icy waters, kept afloat by a large chunk of ice until he was seen and picked up by one of the lifeboats, some two hours after immersion, the rescue boat – lifeboat 14 – to have been one of the last to leave the stricken ship

He reached New York on April 18 aboard the Carpathia, but many doubt his tale of a two-hour swim in such icy waters without succumbing as did so many others, despite his suing the Ocean Steam Navigation Company for $25,000 for personal injury and property, having – as he put it -suffered excruciating pain of body and agony of mind, and caused great pain and suffering.

Soon after the rescue, some cruel rumours had it that he had entered the lifeboat dressed as a woman, and several different accounts were aired, though he always maintained that Lady Astor, on lifeboat 14, had pleaded with the sailors to pluck him from the water.

Keeping a low profile after the tragic sinking, he became naturalized as a United States citizen, joining the Italian army during WWI, returning to the USA in 1919, but flitting back and forth to Italy throughout his life. In 1965 he made his final sea voyage to Italy, where he died in 1974. Whether he was a true hero, or a cowardly villain, we shall never truly know, but it seems likely the film was loosely based on his story.

Which category do you fall in?

A good majority of folks think just like “the box” dictates that they do. They run when everybody is running, sleep when everyone’s asleep, and jump when there’s a gunshot in their backyard – they eat whatever dish is served up to them.

Say less than 10% of the human population is able to think outside the box – create their own thought process and adhere to it, irrespective of norms or the status quo. Many times they hurt and sometimes they are slowed down, but most times they get the promotion because the boss recognizes the power of independence within them.

There are precious few – say less than 0.01% of people on the planet who realize the absolute truth: that there’s no box. And so they create their own boxes and make everyone else think inside, outside, or around what they have made. Gates, Soros, Buffet, Slim, Branson, Jobs, Zuckerberg… they blaze their own paths, and most the rest of us just follow!
