What we write can educate or enrage our audience, we have to choose wisely when we put words down on paper or when keyboarding an article, a poem or a script. But the best thing is, not to be quiet when you see or notice evil.

Every writer has a duty to change the world and the way of life of people- the audience. We have this powerful tool that many people fear, if we use it in the right way, we are bound to get positive result. We should remember that something once written, it goes down in history, getting revamped and rewritten as relevance in time changes.

For sure, writers have the power in their hands and many people give them credit for using that power to maximum- provision of truthful information, telling a soft creative but educative story, narratives that expose evil in the society among others. But if writer choose not to bother, neglect the society and engage in hide-and-seek game with leadership and governing body for fame and unworthy honors, then this creates a loop-hole to a doomed society, where peace and love in given the second or third priority, where unity is termed hatred, where gender inequality is given high value just like human rights, where human rights are dimmed and crimes as the order of the day.

We live in a society where truth of humanity can be turned upside-down and ripped inside-out by a good lawyer, where news can be classified under matters of national security- hidden from the general public, where the governing power can turn against human rights- kill innocent civilians and call it collateral-damage. If we care about security of people, if we care about our neighbour, if we love humanity and human-rights.., then as writers, we have a duty to put it down on paper.

There is so much evil in a quiet society. But most of the time we are helpless on how to stop the messy situation, reasons being we have no power. We have to ask ourselves two ‘what ifs’ before we settle for less.

1) What if I write, not for the current generation but for generations to come? Of course, this is the best thing one can do when pinned in a tight corner, gaged beyond breath or silenced from verbal communication. Whatever in mind cannot be erased easily, and can be much useful for the third generation only if the information if hidden somewhere in a book-electronic books or ordinary books.

2) What if I’m not in a position to write? This can a dummy question, but relevant as per the situation. Illiteracy and lack of freedom of speech can cause such kind of a scenario, where one has an idea or a message for someone but to convey that information is a problem. In such a situation, an alluded narrative is the best way to go. Wisdom is inborn, which means it cannot be acquired either through education or whichever way, it is the style in ‘writing’ that can be used by anyone to convey an encrypted information verbally.

Writing field is wide open, every writer has a choice on which niche he or she is comfortable in. Personally I choose to be a spectator- to cry when a writer drives the society in chaos or to be happy reading witful artwork.

Hell no! I’m not a writer, I just chose to write anyway.

On what's happening in our heads these days...

It is absolutely essential to have an appetite for the truth. The appetite for the truth keeps one in the yearning for facts.

Whether you accept it or not, reality is objective. On any issue, there can be but only one truth.

The greatest threat, in the present day, to being truthful, is the creeping subjectivism being encouraged by many lobbies. You do not have a ‘truth’ specific to yourself, nor do I have a truth that belongs to me.

The blind man was crossing the road. A car was speeding towards him, but he did not want to believe that. He died.

We need to be open to reading the signs of the times. The signs are warning us. We are headed for catastrophe.

Let’s wake up from the dream of subjectivism.

Whats Islam has to say on this so called day of love.

What does Islam say?

Deceptive commercials and cultural propaganda present an ugly practice of paganism (mushrik) as if it were some beautiful festival of love – and all the time the devil is laughing at believers who listen to his whispers.

A group of practices considered as the twin sister of bid’ah(misguided innovations). Like bid’ah these flourish on . . .

. . ignorance and outside influence. Like bid’ah they entail rituals. But unlike bid’ah the rituals have not been given an Islamic face. They are followed because they are considered an acceptable cultural practice or the hottest imported “in” thing.

Most of those who indulge in them do not know what they are doing. They are just blind followers of their equally blind cultural leaders. Little do they realize that what they consider as innocent fun may in fact be rooted in paganism. That the symbols they embrace may be symbols of unbelief. That the ideas they borrow may be products of superstition. That all of these may be a negation of what Islam stands for.

Consider Valentine’s Day, a day that after dying out a well deserved death in most of Europe (but surviving in Britain and United States of America) has suddenly started to emerge across a good swath of Muslim countries. Who was Valentine? Why is this day observed? Legends abound, as they do in all such cases, but this much is clear: Valentine’s Day began as a pagan ritual started by Romans in the 4th century BCE to honour the god Lupercus. T

he main attraction of this ritual was a lottery held to distribute young women to young men for “entertainment and pleasure” – until the next year’s lottery. Among other equally despicable practices associated with this day was the lashing of young women by two young men, clad only in a bit of goatskin and wielding goatskin thongs, who had been smeared with blood of sacrificial goats and dogs. A lash of the “sacred” thongs by these “holy men” was believed to make them better able to bear children.

As usual, Christianity tried, without success, to stop the evil celebration of Lupercalia. It first replaced the lottery of the names of women with a lottery of the names of the saints. The idea was that during the following year the young men would emulate the life of the saint whose name they had drawn. (The idea that you can preserve the appearance of a popular evil and yet somehow turn it to serve the purpose of virtue, has survived.

Look at all those people who are still trying, helplessly, to use the formats of popular television entertainments to promote good. They might learn something from this bit of history. It failed miserably) Christianity ended up doing in Rome, and elsewhere, as the Romans did.

The only success it had was in changing the name from Lupercalia to St. Valentine’s Day. It was done in CE 496 by Pope Gelasius, in honour of some Saint Valentine.

There are as many as 50 different Valentines in Christian legends. Two of them are more famous, although their lives and characters are also shrouded in mystery. According to one legend, and the one more in line with the true nature of this celebration, St. Valentine was a “lovers’” saint, who had himself fallen in love with his jailer’s daughter.

Due to serious troubles that accompanied such lottery, French government banned the practice in 1776. In Italy, Austria, Hungry, and Germany also the ritual vanished over the years. Earlier, it had been banned in England during the 17th century when the Puritans were strong. However in 1660 Charles II revived it. From there it also reached the New World, where enterprising Yankees spotted a good means of making money. Esther A. Howland, who produced one of the first commercial American Valentine’s Day cards called – what else – valentines, in the 1840s, sold $5,000 worth – when $5,000 was a lot of money – the first year. The valentine industry has been booming ever since.

It is the same story with Halloween, which has otherwise normal human beings dressing like ghosts and goblins in a reenactment of an ancient pagan ritual of demon worship. Five star hotels in Muslim countries arrange Halloween parties so the rich can celebrate the superstitions of a distant period of ignorance that at one time even included the shameful practice of human sacrifice. The pagan name for that event was Samhain (pronounced sow-en). Just as in the case of Valentine’s Day, Christianity changed its name, but not the pagan moorings.

Christmas is another story. Today Muslim shopkeepers sell and shoppers buy Christmas symbols in Islamabad or Dubai or Cairo. To engage in a known religious celebration of another religion is bad enough. What is worse is the fact that here is another pagan celebration (Saturnalia) that has been changed in name – and in little else – by Christianity.

Even the celebration considered most innocent might have pagan foundations. According to one account, in pagan cultures, people feared evil spirits – especially on their birthdays. It was a common belief that evil spirits were more dangerous to a person when he or she experienced a change in their daily life, such as turning a year older. So family and friends surrounded the person with laughter and joy on their birthdays in order to protect them from evil.

How can anyone in his right mind think that Islam would be indifferent to practices seeped in anti-Islamic ideas and beliefs? Islam came to destroy paganism in all its forms and it cannot tolerate any trace of it in the lives of its followers.

Further, Islam is very sensitive about maintaining its purity and the unique identity of its followers. Islamic laws and teachings go to extra lengths to ensure it. Salat (Prayers) is forbidden at the precise times of sunrise, transition, and sunset to eliminate the possibility of confusion with the practice of sun worship. To the voluntary recommended fast on the tenth of Muharram, Muslims are required to add another day (9th or 11th) to differentiate it from the then prevalent Jewish practice. Muslims are forbidden to emulate the appearance of non-Muslims.

A Muslim is a Muslim for life. During joys and sorrows, during celebrations and sufferings, we must follow the one straight path – not many divergent paths. It is a great tragedy that under the constant barrage of commercial and cultural propaganda from the forces of globalization and the relentless media machine, Muslims have begun to embrace the Valentines, the Halloween ghost, and even the Santa Claus. Given our terrible and increasing surrender to paganism the only day we should be observing is a day of mourning. Better yet it should be a day of repentance that could liberate us from all these days.

Please Forward it to other Muslim brothers and sisters to stop them from practicing such bid’ah… It is our duty as a Muslim and a Human being to spread the knowledge of our deen.May ALLAH forgive us for the sins we do consciously or unconsciously.. A’ameen

Reality of terrorism in Pakistan.

democracynow.org – The CIA’s drone campaign targeting suspected militants in Pakistan has killed dozens of civilians who had gone to rescue victims or were attending funerals. So concludes a new report by the London-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism. It found that since President Obama took office three years ago, as many as 535 civilians have killed, including more than 60 children. The investigation also revealed that at least 50 civilians were killed in follow-up strikes when they had gone to help victims. More than 20 civilians have also been attacked in deliberate strikes on funerals and mourners. We speak to Chris Woods, award-winning reporter with the Bureau of Investigative Journalism. “We noted that there were repeated reports at the time, contemporaneous reports in publications like New York Times, news agencies like Reuters, like CNN, that there were these strikes on rescuers, that there were reports of an initial strike and then some minutes later, as people had come forward to pull out the dead and injured that drones had returned to the scene and attacked rescues,” Woods says, “We have been able to name just over 50 civilians that we understand have been killed in those attacks. In total, we think that more than 75 civilians have been killed specifically in these attacks on rescuers and on mourners, on funeral-goers.”

NOTICE: READING THIS WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO WRITE THE KNOCKER PROPAGANDA. :) (This has been one of my libelous scandal, successful to alarm and test few entities in school) Reading this long disinteresting format seem tiring to eyes.. . but it worth a while.

End the cycle of scandal and personal interest, that betrayal of public trust and interest was clear, not to mention it specifically.

And restore accountability to PICE-ACES!

Unfathomable emptiness and irresponsibility, and moral bankruptcy of the last two years PICE officials’ terms shall have their end.

Most of CE population were angry about the obvious flaws.

The politically motivated immature withdrawal of power had been a disaster.

THAT UNWITTY REINVASION FOR THIS YEAR MIGHT BE EVEN WORSE.

“Why bother? They’ll be out after one year. Why spread this?”

Their FUN must be over, its feat have its finale. We, civil engineering students, are on call of true leaders. This is the time to restore honour and dignity to our beloved Association of Civil Engineering Department; to usher in a new generation era of restoration that will leave no helpless child behind (who among you haven’t still received your unclaimed shirts in Mark’s term) J

As your ate, before I graduate I want to issue you this note: DON’T SUPPORT THE PICE EXECUTIVE OFFICIALS FOR THE LAST TWO TERMS WHICH ARE NOW AGAIN HAVE A SKIN TO RUN FOR ANOTHER POSITION. I could see that they can do nothing, especially that Rodel and Carvin. They never ,ake a way as far as I know to resolve Mark’s flaw regarding department shirt.

CAUSE IF ONLY THEY REACT AGAINST IT, AND ACT RESOLVING IT, MAYBE NOW PICE IS ACCREDITED AND THIS YEAR, THE RE-ELECTED OFFICIALS IN A DIFFERENT POSITION, HAS PROVEN THEMSELVES THAT THEY CAN DO NOTHING.

I wonder why good heavens permit them to be seated again this ending academic year 2010-2011. To give them a chance to makeup of their glitch? So be it. AND WHAT NOW? Things got worse.

All of a sudden I could see their names again campaigning for themselves in a position they are not worth of.

Then, there we have Carla running as president. I asked my friend about her. And through some inquiries, I knew she was once a second year representative of Mark’s slate. “Ah, ganun ba?” [Ah, really?]

Goodness, is there anyone willing to run as president aside from those tested worthless officials of the last two terms?

Just then, there are these guys who gave me leaflet of this Carla’s slate. I thought of asking, “Ano tinatakbuhan niyo?” [What are you running for?]

“Ai, ate hindi po. Supporters kaming lahat po na classmates niya tumutulong for her. Kahit ayaw naming tumakbo siya as president, kailangan naming tumulong at suportahan siya dahil gusto niya at naniniwala po kami na kaya niya.” [Oh lady we don’t. We are just her classmates who support her. Eventhough we don’t want her run as president, we want to support and help her because we know that she can do it.]

If I was her classmates, I won’t help her. LOL. But to think of how passionate her classmates might be for unknown reasons just to help her can be a sign that she is a good leader to test. (For once, she already had been an officer). And it signifies that she could move mountains.

I never knew this Carla personally, BUT I THINK SHE WORTH A TRY.

THIS IS ADDRESSED TO ALL CE STUDENTS: (Even to the line-up of this Rodelle and Carvin)

OPEN YOUR EYES.

Don’t let those officials from the last two terms have their seat again. Not because I have something about them, but they are already tested for two years. And still their fields are barren; they accomplished nothing for the students. They bear no good fruits. To tell you honestly, I miss my first and second year stay here in this college. The presidents by then are really ROCKING and RESPONSIBLE! I just don’t know why the last good leader produced was KING.

NOW FELLOW CE STUDENTS, TIME TO THINK. VOTE RIGHT! WE ARE SO THROUGH WITH THAT VOTE STRAIGHT.

As always, when is the time for change!? NOW! I hope that CHANGE in CARLA’s slate is for good. Then, shoe it to us Ms. Carla. We have the right to demand for it.

People of earth let us support Carla for her slate’s uprising. What uprising is this anyway? Explain it to us further. J

God bless all of you BSCE students of PUP. My wish, I hope I am sure this summer to march the aisle for my diploma. Hehe.

Hope this note could help you decide to choose the right one, now.

Your ate now signing off.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

NOW!!!

Since you’ve learned how to write a good lawful propaganda, spread the word. Let the people who are involved in an outrageously brought out solicited complain have a fall-back to rest their butts.

SUGGESTION!!

Making-up your mind digging the bivouac to hide such hideous, shameful faces is NEVER an option. Instead, start formulating answers for beseeched crime and solution for such impeding and malevolent acts you marry yourself.

ONE THING!!

Good luck! Love is in the air for those who hug peace and goodness. Since you exhort yourself commit a grand of grand crimes, let good earth help you find your way out for the nasty labyrinth you made for yourself.

THOU SHALT NOT ASSUME: Some thoughts on morality and justice

Why do people assume and gossip about and blame others when they really don’t know the whole story? I wonder why we so often judge others, family, associates, neighbors and our self in such a negative light and all because we think something might be such and so and all because we of what we think we saw or heard. To assume anything and spread that assumption around is deception dressed up in a coat of whitewash. It will never hold up in the end.

We need to be very careful about judging others falsely, judging them on what we assume to be the truth. We have not walked in their shoes. We don’t truly know the full circumstances of a given situation unless we have personally lived it. We cannot read another person’s mind or heart and yet we assume and believe our judgments must be true since so and so saw or so and so said and they are presumed to be telling the truth about whatever and there might possibly be truth to it…and we end up repeating or doing, saying things and doing things that reflect negatively on others rather than ever really seeking out the truth, encouraging and building that person up, offering a helping hand where needed and we do it all on the weak foundation of an assumption on what we think we saw or heard or someone else told us.

Truth is, they, we may not have truly or fully comprehended what they think they saw or heard and to assume they got it right and we understood clearly the truth they assumed, has from the beginning of time been the downfall of man; of kings and of nations. Deception, assuming that which is not true to be true is a powerful and destructive weapon. It can’t be a good thing.

Fact is I know it is not good in any way, shape or manner. It is painful. It is destructive in the greatest sense of the word. It is not just. No good can come from it. It not only hurts the person you have made assumptions about, it hurts everyone connected to that person and yourself. I know it is so because I have been there, been on both sides of the coin and both sides of the coin dealt me a crushing blow. Never assume that which you do not know to be fact. You cannot know if you were not there and a part of whatever the situation may be. You cannot know what is going on in the heart and mind of another because you are not them.

“Great Spirit, help me never to judge another until I have walked in his moccasins.” American Indian proverb.

Assumption is no more and no less than deception dressed up in a coat of whitewash. Thou shalt not assume and then bear false witness. What a situation appears to be from a distance is seldom, if ever, what really is and when the rains come and the whitewash is flushed away; the truth becomes evident, much to our disgrace. When we assume and presume we know the truth without ever having been there and gone through it, everyone gets hurt.

In the process of all this assuming we bring irrevocable harm to others. We can destroy their reputation, hurt their family, their children, and cost them their job, their livelihood. We can destroy their credit, cause others to lose trust in them; bring mental and emotional anguish to their being and to those they love and maybe even cost them their life. It is a terrible thing to do to anyone and we certainly would not like it if someone did the same to us. Thou shalt not assume.

A Big Difference.

Most women has the same mindset or perspective when asked, what type man they want? Many states, a successful man. Some truly without being dishonest about truth. States they want a man with money. Which you must honestly respect her truth. Because it rings high amongst many women. Until you point out they seem materialistic. Then some try to cover themselves, from the comment.

Now, ask the hormone sector of the male species. And you’ll find words like good looking, beautiful. And then you find those that goes into a well educated female with goals. Believe all women are educated. Men gets blinded by those with degrees. Women have more survival instinct then men could ever imagine.

And, don’t read magazines, with those degree people because they saying things for trhe article. Which is created around some truth. But have a lot of dishonesty within the comments. Remember, we all have a certain style of taste. And if raised a little right with common sense we address truth with truth. Many of us knows our sexual appetite and the things that turns us on. But, you’ll never have a man speaking of a woman he seeks having a high intimate passionate drive. Things, we say around certain friend with honesty. Gets edited down around others.

Women are more down to earth. While some men are complete dreamers. When it seems like their dreams isn’t in reality. In terms, of fame we know that many women get rich not because of their error of love. But because many male athletes gets marry. Obviously, if some have stayed single they wouldn’t be crying when the spouse leaves with half of their money. Notice, how their oney(they marry) all of sudden becomes his wealth.

If you rich and wants to be broke just commit adultery. It’s a money killer in rich people relationship. Johnny Taylor stated truth when he said “It’s Cheaper To Keep Her” because together life isn’t so bad as we think.

A discourse on laws against smoking.

Smoking can be a huge health threat. We have all had this hammered into our skulls since elementary school. If anyone argues that this is not true, then they have been living in a cave for the past few decades.

But is this a large enough problem for smoking to be outlawed in the large-scale public? Many interest groups across the nation are pushing to pass laws that prohibit smoking in public places. This includes bars, the streets, and restaurants which already have designated smoking areas.

Laws should be made according to moral truths. A moral truth is a statement about right and wrong, which if followed contributes to the well-being of a society. Would outlawing smoking contribute to the well-being of our society at large? I believe that it would not.

Smoking is an indulgent activity with consequences. The same can be said for eating, sex, and spending money on just about anything aside from the bare essentials. To say that smoking is morally wrong is to say that all other indulgent activities that can lead to undesirable consequences are also morally wrong. Therefore, to pass a law prohibiting smoking in public is to pass a law based on personal opinions, and not moral truth.

One argument agains such a claim is that of second-hand smoke, where one who may not be smoking inhales the smoke from a nearby cigarrette unpurposefully. This has been show to cause health problems, especially in infants and children. However I argue that this does not apply to the situation. These laws being proposed, and in some situations passed, prohibit smoking in all public places. Most of the cases where second hand smoke has caused serious problems have been in a private situation, such as a home. Smoking on a street allows for enough air circulation that this would not be a factor. Almost every restaurant has a non-smoking section, or at least a good circulation system. This leaves only places such as bars and similar venues. To try to pass a law that says you can’t smoke in these locations would be quite detrimental to these businesses.

The main point is, if we start outlawing everything that is offensive to anyone, we would have no freedom at all.

What's right with the government?.

My personal thoughts are:David Cameron is out of touch with today’s society.

When did he ever have to scrimp and save a every penny to make ends meet?.He has nothing in common with the some of the people he claims to represent.According to www.direct.gov.uk:Your human rights include:

the right to life.

The right not to be discriminated against in respect of these rights and freedoms.

The plain and simple truth is,there are not enough jobs to go around and/or people lack the necessary skills in either maintaining or retraining in their jobs.I myself am unemployed and at 41 it seems like there is no hope, all i seem to do is fill out endless job applications where it seems there are 30 persons also applying for the same job.In some cases it would seem to be either over qualified for a humble position in a company or too old to be retrained,of course this is never disclosed to you as it would come under discrimination. My recommendation is to cut all this inadequate red tape questions at interview.’Why do you want to work here?’.'What are your strengths and weaknesses?’. ‘What can you bring to the company?’. Amongst other nonsensical questions.I do understand that companies have to know certain things about you but some of the questions i have been asked at interview by a 22 year old who themselves have been in their job for a short period borders on stupidity.

Today’s Britain is far from what is was when my father was working and mother was a housewife. You could only have what you could afford and that went for food, appliances etc;.

In today’s culture people want it now and they don’t care how they obtain it (in some cases).

I am sorry if i have gone a little off topic it’s just my opinion.

Thankyou.

Living a clean life is a challenge that calls for a number of prerequisites. Some areas of concerns are telling the truth, using your body as a temple, and avoiding the negative influences of poisonous substances.

To many, it is easier said than done. The challenge for us all is how to live a clean life. Some may say that being totally clean is impossible. This obviously demands a great deal of discipline. Still, it is possible to come close. What a person has to do is to embrace certain principles by which to live.

Telling the Truth

To tell the truth is golden. It is a mark of distinction that identifies our caliber. Without it, a person is unable to be trusted. Many persons do not think anything about telling occasional lies. They lie about their importance. We travel through life knowing that we can get away with things, some of them small and others not so small. As it turns out, we bend the truth. For some, after awhile, individuals are not able to distinguish truth from fiction. But as it is said, “The truth shall set you free.” Therefore, say it and experience the freedom it brings to your soul, body, and spirit. Let others see your works, through the things that you do.

Do not allow obscenities to leave your lips or be part of your life. Instead of cursing why not praise. Give thanks for the beautiful things you encounter daily. Express these in words, pictures, and images. Let your heart be open to the niceties of creation. Think and live uplifting thoughts and delight in all things. These expressions tell others about the truth that is present in the world and us. They celebrate life and give joy. It is very romantic to live your life to the fullest.

Your Body as A Temple

Treat your body kindly and it will do the same for you. Begin by praying and asking for divine intervention in your life. Let your spiritual being be nurtured. Through your psyche you can experience the goodness of all things. Eat properly. Have a balanced diet. There is sound advice that is promoted by dietitians at a hospitals around the country. Follow this and you will help ward off high blood pressure, diabetes, heart, and kidney disease.

Be sure to exercise. Breathe fresh air as you walk and ride in gardens and parks. Avoid pollution. Polluted cities are a hazard and so is such water. Be sensible about these natural blessings from which we partake. They can be the cause of cancer. It is a clever person that chooses where he lives. A lifestyle in the country will be helpful. Some people decide to grow their own food so that they will be able to eat organic meals. Others may raise their own beef to avoid buying from the mass production of such produce.

Avoid Poisonous Substances

Alcohol should be drank in moderation. Doctors recommend that a glass or two of wine will be beneficial for a person’s digestive system. To go overboard, may cause harm. Some persons may become alcoholics. There are those that become addicted to drugs of all kinds and even pain killers. Individuals should stay clear of these temptations, for your objective is to live clean lives. Drugs are harmful and detrimental. Coffee can be helpful if drank in moderation.

- – -

Undoubtedly, from time to time, many of us do backslide and we should surround ourselves with our cheer-leaders. That is where good friends come in. It is great to embrace these. Call on them for advice, company, and reach out when you find yourself in trouble. By these actions, many persons undergo a sort of healing and become better persons for it. They soon will be loving the idea that they are aspiring to live lives that are as clean as possible. A person’s life is on the right track when he can safely say that he has cleaned up his act, and his life is as clean as clean can be.
