The actors in this movie speaks only in Japanese language. Subtitles in your familiar language is always recommended. A typical movie that depicts love story ,disasters, and how the humanity is saved after some heroic actions. A satisfactory storyline!

This movie depicts fictional story about Japan earthquake, massive volcano eruptions, gigantic tsunamis, which left many Japanese people homeless. Recent 2011 Japanese earthquake and nuclear fallout just reminded me of this movie.

At the end of the story, this movie portrayed two brave submarine divers who risked their lives in order to save Japan from further sinking by detonating a chain of nuclear bombs to separate the sinking tectonic plate from pulling the Japan islands down with it. This movie also highlighted the dilemma of the government of Japan to whether to tell the Japanese public the truth about the sinking of Japan in less than one year rather than 40 years.

This movie is just fantastic with all the large-scale explosions and rock debris flying around, a perfect scene for any disaster friend who enjoys the beauty of explosions. The romantic scene between Reiko and Toshio in this film is just typical. However, I had to admit that it has a good opening scene – An innocent girl trapped walking among the building debris that was later saved by a firewoman on a helicopter.

Sinking of Japan is another doomsday movie that reminds people about any possibilities that could happen. Reiko’s willingness to remain inside the country in order to help the victims shows that the value of altruism remains an essential tool for the survival of mankind from disaster. It is interesting to note that Dr. Tadokoro prefer to use his papers and blackboard for his complex seismic calculation although the computers are available.

Like the “The day after tomorrow”, and “2012”, this movie is another eye opener for those who loves disaster movies.

The Japanese trawler was spotted by the Canadian Navy near the coast

Canada. – A Japanese fishing carried away by the tsunami that devastated northeastern Japan last year was seen drifting off to British Columbia in western Canada.

The official Jeff Olsson, the Center for Coordination of Rescue Victoria, said the occupants of an aircraft hired by the government spotted the fishing boat of 15 meters about 260 kilometers west of Haida Gwaii, floating slowly toward the coast.

The boat that comes from the Japanese island of Okaido, apparently does not have people on board, officials said, there is a danger to the environment.

Similarly, a marine warning was issued because the fish could be a hazard to navigation.

According to researchers at the University of Hawaii, about 25 million tons of rubble and debris were swept by the sea in March 2011 when a magnitude 9 earthquake and subsequent tsunami swept the northeastern coast of Japan.

The speculation about the prospects for success of air strikes against Iran's nuclear program received new food: The U.S. military provided the public with information on the effectiveness of a new weapon. Tehran should be afraid of a 13-ton "penetrator".

Iranian bunkers vulnerable as eggshells?

Strong enough for serious bunker busters: A B-1 on a U.S. base

The U.S. has, in the words of an Air Force general on a 13-ton bomb that was developed specifically to combat bunkers like those in Iran. As bunker-buster (for example: bunker busters) called super bomb was able to penetrate 65 feet of concrete before exploding in depth, said the use of head of the U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Herbert Carlisle, at a security conference in Washington. The weapon was delivered only last year to the U.S. armed forces. She had “great capabilities” and will also improve constantly.

The new bomb is based on the mode of action of conventional explosives such as the type BLU-109, accompanied by improved control technology and a specially hardened warhead – and much more explosive. Their enormous clout arises from its enormous weight of 13 tons and the high speed at impact. The force should be enough for U.S. officials to bomb the actual body after the impact, about 16 stories deep to drive into the ground. In military circles the weapon system will operate under abbreviated as MOP for Massive Ordnance Penetrator (for example: “Heavy Eindringmunition”). The development of the U.S. aircraft manufacturer Boeing, with its defense division is involved.

The introduction of this bomb-cost observer than major U.S. response to Iranian nuclear facilities, the shift in deep underground bunkers. Due to the clearly visible on satellite imagery analysts in the Pentagon building work confirms their suspicions that Iran is working on nuclear weapons. Over Iran’s nuclear program at the failure of diplomatic efforts to stop it nor can the U.S. armed forces are turning to the heavy bunker-busting bombs. They are part of operational planning, the “run for quite a while” in the words of Defense Minister Leon Panetta.

That’s how the front at Boeing: An MOP on his way to the destination (computer animation).

Force with each step of development in the field of deep-penetrating explosive devices, the U.S. opposition to an expansion of its possible protective measures. Against this background, perhaps deliberately scattered details to gain clout of the new weapon of particular importance. Iranian defense experts must be sooner or later their commanders to answer questions the extent to which protected against air strikes plants are now more than ever bombproof.
Too heavy for Israel

One possible answer would be to relocate the plant deeper into the earth or be intensified by additional shielding of reinforced concrete. Both are associated with complex construction projects. The immediate consequence, the corresponding item in the defense budget swells. The total cost of the nuclear program rise – according to the hopes of U.S. foreign policy in a painful area of Tehran. For U.S. defense experts, the economic dimension of a military arms race between farmers and bunker bunker busters is an obvious solution. Finally, a similar strategy in the Cold War between the U.S. and the Soviet bloc within the larger framework ultimately proved very successful.

An arms race provides additional benefits for Washington by the way: on the one hand, the development of bunker bombs to justify additional spending in the defense sector with positive effects on the domestic labor market. On the other hand, the United States are the world’s largest economy with an enormous lead in the race with Iran. Its economy is badly weakened by the effect of sanctions and other obstacles.

Another argument might skeptic in the White House from the advantages of the new Bunker Buster convince: The 13-ton bombs guarantee U.S. leadership role in the Iran conflict. The explosive device is so heavy that it can only be a few aircraft ever brought to the finish. These include the aging B-52 bombers from Boeing, the strategic bomber Boeing swing-wing B-1 and B-2 stealth bomber Northrop Grumman – all three military aircraft that are only available from the U.S. Air Force.

Deep in the mountains of Iran: Heavily bunkered facilities in Qom

Israel does not have its own heavy bombers. The country feels threatened by Iran in its existence and does therefore calls for a military operation as early as possible in order to prevent Iran from building a nuclear bomb on. From Israel’s perspective, a preventive strike would be too late, if Iran were to have hidden its nuclear technology by then even deeper underground.

The USA won with the introduction of heavy bombs time for diplomacy. Because with the new bomb U.S. air strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities are still a threat even if the whole nuclear facilities should be completely moved into bunkers. An early solo attack with bombs should be weaker in the Israeli attack scenario, however, represent a very risky at the same time significantly lower chance of success.
Attack from outer space and the internet?

In an interview with the “National Journal,” U.S. Defense Secretary Panetta reiterated that diplomacy and sanctions more time should be given. The U.S. wanted to prevent as well as Israel, that Iran getting nuclear weapons. In the event of a military decision, the U.S. had very much more impressive capabilities than Israel.

It was not until mid-January had speculated U.S. media about the fact that the bombs in the arsenal of the Air Force may be too weak to destroy deeply buried targets in Iran.

Possibly could go unnoticed in the Iranian airspace and fly safely penetrate through air refueling back to home: the stealth bomber B-2.

General Carlisle hinted in his speech at the Security Conference further military innovations. Any military action in Iran or Syria would be therefore determined by a new military tactical thinking.

The armed forces would operate it in different areas: in the air, sea, and from space in the virtual network world of cyberspace. They would benefit if they themselves are now closely linked.

What is going to happen when the world ends.

there are alot of people who believe that the world is truly going to end and there are alot that dont believe it at all. im on the fence about but it would not surprise me if something did happen. I have done alot of reaserch and these are my findings.

The world is not going to blow up. It is going to be a more slow death. Earth is orbiting closer and closer to the sun everyday and because of that we get global warming. By december 2012 it is expected to get so hot that the tectonic plates start to expand and create pressure between them. Most of this pressure is going to be built up in the ocean which is very bad because when they slip they cause tsunamis. this tsunamis are going to be huge and wipe out most of the land.

we will not die a fiery death but a wet one. Get yourself a canoe before time runs out. You can prepare yourslelf in many ways but the best way is to go underground. water does not afect underground things only above ground. you will need to stock up lots of food and water and prepare for the worst. the world will look alot different when you come back put of the ground but aslong as the human race survives we can assure the world will be here for us. If you dont mind sleeping with cows and chickens and pigs bringh them in your bunker too so we can avoid mass extinction. when we surface again we will need animals there with us.

prepare yourself and think a head. refer back to this article as many times as you need and be aware of the consequences if you are not prepared.

In the 30 day period beginning August 21, 2011 and ending September 20, 2011 Japan experienced 69 (sixty nine) earthquakes of magnitude 4.0 or greater. Although Japan has a history of earthquake activity this year the island nation has seen more than its share of the natural disasters. The country’s location relative to tectonic plate fault lines and shifting of the earth’s major plates could have something to do with this increased activity.

Japan is located right on the fault line between the western edge of the North American tectonic plate and the eastern edge of Eurasian tectonic plate. To make matters worse, it is also near where the two plates meet the Filipino plate and the eastern edge of the North American plate it sits on is actually a peninsula of the plate. Since this peninsula of the North American plate is relatively narrow, it means that any significant release of friction from the shared fault line with the Pacific plate will also be felt by Japan.

Image via Wikipedia

The added effect of the fault lines being in the ocean is that tsunamis are likely to occur in the event of significant release of pressure from the fault lines of the plates surrounding Japan. An example of this is the Fukushima earthquake and tsunami of March 2011 which produced tsunami waves that washed away complete towns and severely damaged a nuclear power plant. The cleanup of the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear incident will take years and remains a concern, not just of Japan, but most of the world.

The Fukushima earthquake was of magnitude 9.0 which is very rare and hopefully won’t repeat in our lifetime. However, with the continued activity, such as the earthquakes within the last month alone that have hit Japan one has to wonder.

If an earthquake strikes should you use your cell phone?

It’s a natural reaction during an emergency – such as earthquakes that hit Southern California or Japan (along with the tsunami). You quickly grab your cell phone and call home to make sure your loved ones are safe. Or, you frantically place a call to your friends to share the experience during the quake – the rocking and rolling, the aftershocks, etc.

‘SYSTEM OVERLOAD’

While that reaction may be natural, it can make a bad situation – busy signals and calls not getting through – even worse. During an emergency the sheer volume of calls can overload a cell phone carrier, making your cell so much dead weight. Sprint communications, for example, reported that during a Southern California earthquake they experienced an 800 percent spike in cell phone calls. The problem is compounded when people who can’t get through keep redialing, creating what cell phone companies call ‘system block’ or plain old ‘system overload.’

CONFLICTING INSTRUCTIONS

But even the cell phone companies can be confused as to what to do. Sprint, for example, cautioned against redialing your cell phone when you can’t get through to someone on the first try. But a statement by Verizon once recommended just the opposite, recommending that callers keep redialing until they can get through in the hope that as time goes by the volume of calls will diminish.

TIPS

Phone companies suggest a number of things callers can take to get call through.

Use text messaging – it takes up less bandwidth so calls have a better chance of getting through.

Some carriers, like Verizon and Sprint offer “push to talk” services. These services bypass cell phone towers, and operate from one point to another point so are less likely to experience problems during a quake. However, one limitation is that they work only when talking to someone within a few miles from where you’re calling.

If you have a smart phone – like Apple’s iphone – you can try emailing messages through the phone’s web browser. Email also uses less bandwidth.

Most experts agree that one of the wisest things you can do during an emergency, is NOT to use your cell phone – or land line for that matter – unless you absolutely have to. State officials at the California Office of Emergency Services even took the extraordinary step of urging people throughout the state to cut back telephone use – something to be considered anywhere an emergency strikes.

Yesterday many websites that offers live coverage of a seismic activity in the world first reported 8.4 earthquake in Libya, off the coast, but than most of them removed this earthquake from their maps.

Many people are now wondering what actually happened and why did they remove the seismic activity result from the majority of the websites.

While there is a war going on in Libya, something like this only adds to mystery surrounding US NATO military engagement in Northern Africa.

Some people are even suggesting that it may be a nuclear weapon that was activated which seismograph recorded as an earthquake.

There are several important Youtube videos about 8.4 Libya earthquake that you should watch right now:

American singer Lady Gaga created the design for series of bracelets with the purpose of raising funds for the tsunami-affected people from Japan.

Lady Gaga seems to be not only a very talented young singer who can make people all around the world get crazy with her songs but also seems to have a good heart.

In 2010 she raised over a half milion dolars for the people affected by the Haiti earthquake, donating the value of some tickets that she sold for her concerts. This time, she posted on twitter and urged everyone to help people in Japan. She asked her fans to buy those white bracelets that she designed herself so she can steal money for the devasted aria. Those could be bought beggining with 25 march and cost 5 dolars and it writes on each one of them ” We pray for Japan”, in english and japonese, including the symbol of a monster claw, a symbol that Lady Gaga likes very much.
