The Gateway of the Most Important Seaway of the World
The beach is unique in its beauty and tidiness

The great tourist of Venice City, Marco polo served the King Kublai Khan of China for 17 years. He was not only the special advisor of the King but also the center of his grants. Kublai Khan was the super power of his age and his court was the super court. But Marco Polo was getting fed up of this court and recalling his home very much.

He requested the King for leave, which was accepted reluctantly. Then he started his journey with his father, uncle and 600 people in yachts to his way back home to Venice city of Italy. He entered from China to the Indian Ocean through Malacca, since it was the only way that joins Indian Ocean to South China Sea.

It was also the most important seaway 8 centuries back as it is now, where big trading ships used to transfer merchandize from China, Japan and other countries of the Pacific Ocean to India, Middle East, Europe and African countries. That’s why it is also known as “World’s Seaway”. One of the gates of this seaway is “Malacca”, which is also the city of Malaysia and on the other side is “Sumatra”, the important city of Indonesia.

The cool snowy breeze still blows the same way as used to in 1292, when Marco polo had to settle for five months along with his sea caravan in Sumatra waiting for the settling down of the climate. But even the worst thing that Marco polo had to face was the sea piracy, which he had to face many times. This problems is still alive, but at that time the weapons were not as sophisticated as they are now.

Marco polo writes, “Only 18 people could reach safe and sound to Venice among 600 people. My father and uncle were also among them. Though our clothes were turned into rags but diamonds were still fixed on them, which Kublai Khan had granted us at the time of our departure”.

The Malacca is situated 148 kilometers west of Kuala Lumpur. There is a never endings series of forest between these two cities. The trees in the forest are mainly rubber producing trees. A scar has been made on the tree trunk and a vessel similar to cooking pot has been attached beside that scar for collecting rubber in the shape of thick juice which afterwards turns into rubber.

Rubber is the main export of Malaysia but the arrival of artificial plastic has reduced this export to much extent because of its cheaper rates. The road from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca is not a Motor way rather it is a Highway having very low traffic. Few small cities lie between Kuala Lumpur and Malacca. Malacca in fact is the smallest city of Malaysia. It is totally an autonomous state.

After the renaissance in Europe the adventurers and tourists headed towards East. They were in the search of new worlds and also wanted to earn lot of money. Marco polo, the great traveler had already mentioned in his account of journeys that Europeans were always interested in the treasures.

That’s why the discovery of America, the discovery of the ruins of ancient town of Latin America, search for treasures in Africa and even the search of the remains of pharos are all dependent on the European’s treasure hunt obsession. These adventurers used to go out in search of treasures with the help of old decay maps and marks and saw dreams of becoming rich overnight. They started their search from Portugal and Spain due to the fact that the then Muslim Arab governments who were equipped with the then most modern shipping and sea voyaging techniques, used to teach the inhabitants about these techniques.

This is the reason that the fortune-hunters of the European renaissance spread in the world from these two countries (under the influence of Muslims sea knowledge) and not only ruled the world but also given birth to a new western culture, which is still alive. It can easily be judged now that how big civilization becomes helpful to other, if positively applied instead of mere opposition.

Alfonso de Albuquerque, the famous Portugal’s adventurer of the history, headed this way on 15th April from the newly formed Indian Portuguese colony Goa along with 1200 people and 17 boats. After reaching Malacca, he took control of it till the end of August. Before Alfonso de Albuquerque, Malacca remain under Muslim regime for long, since Arab sailors and traders reached there earlier, spread Islam and set the Muslim regime in this Far East area which was under the ruling of the local Sultans.

Arab’s Muslims were very expert in shipping techniques and thus received much popularity in Spain. They were fully aware of the sea and its passages. Their sharper eyes recognized the importance of the Strait of Malacca and its gateway. They had the sense that for trading from Far East and China through sea, it would be essential taking control of this seaway.

Therefore, Muslims continued ruling over there since 1300 when at last in 1511 Alfonso de Albuquerque took control over there. Alfonso de Albuquerque defeated the then Muslim ruler Sultan Mehmood Shah and turned Malacca into a Portuguese colony. But Portuguese could not get hold of it for long and soon in 1641 Holland captured the Strait after defeating him.

They ruled till 1741 until famous British East India Company got hold of it. Now, Britain had been the Super Power and it was fully aware of the sea secrets. The Britain was preparing to control the world and thus their hold over the strait was essential. The Indian Ocean and the nearby countries was its target. They could get the raw material from there that could run the factories of the new world and new civilization.

Malacca seaway is 805 Km long. It is today considered the most important trading and military center. You can easily guess its importance by a single oil product that around 18 million barrel oil pass through it daily. It would be worth mentioning here that now another island Singapore has gained much trading and military importance on this seaway. Its seaport lies before Singapore.

More than 10 million ships pass through Malacca Strait yearly and more than 1/3 of the trading goods of the world pass through this Strait. America, China, Russia, India, Britain, France and all the nearby countries take care of this Strait, especially American 7th and 6th Sea fleet play an important role in keeping it open, since America is Nuclear Power and have fully ammunition loaded ships and submarines, which remains underwater.

Malacca city have seen the change of ruling nations again and again in the last five centuries. Therefore, besides Muslims Mosques, you can see Churches, and other worship places of Portuguese, Dutch and Britain Style. Similarly, population also consists of many nations, but the majority is of Malay residents who are Muslims, whereas Christian and Sikhs also reside there.

The Malaysian government has taken special care in safeguarding the remains of Portugal, Dutch and Britain so as to make the city more attractive for the tourists, especially for the European tourist. That’s why European tourists are seen here and there visiting the city happily.

Perhaps the most attractive thing in the tourist industry can be that there would be something present for the foreigners that could help them bringing close to their civilization. That’s why the Muslims countries who have kept the ancient reminiscences safe are earning pounds, dollars, Euros and Yen from them and making their countries prosperous. If the Nation has confidence, the old remains cannot harm its identity. These old remains are the gateway of the history and even if destroyed, they will remain safe in the books.

Malacca is a small city. The most interesting center of it is an old castle named “A’ Famosa”. It is a reminiscence of Portuguese age. Seemingly it depicts the Western Civilization, but people who are aware of the construction art, can see the glimpse of Spanish Muslims art in it as well. Malacca city is situated on both sides of the River Malacca. There is so wonderful panorama of old and new buildings that cannot be found elsewhere in Far East or South East Asia. That’s why UNESCO titled it as “The Great Work of Global Heritage”. Another wonderful thing is that all the people of different nations and religions are living there very peacefully. Any type of anarchy is extinct here. A’ Famosa castle might remained the center of war sometime in the past but today it is the most attractive place for the world’s tourists, because all kinds of facilities like Hotels and Theaters etc. are present here under one roof.

Turning of military castles into economic castles is common in today’s world. It is common in Europe as well. This custom has been adopted my many developed Muslim countries that has opened the gates of employment and earning foreign exchange. These castles are also a wonderful source of bringing coordination and harmony among nations. But, unfortunately, weak, frightened and nervous nations think it their great feat destroying such type of castles and others alike ancient reminiscences.

Alfonso de Albuquerque, after collecting treasures and wealth from Malacca returned back to Goa. The name of the ship he was traveling in was “Flor Do Mar”, which sank in the Indian Ocean due to heavy storm with all his wealth and treasures. The model of this ship has been kept at one of the crossings of Malacca so that every visitor must see and take advice from it.

Malacca city has a great contribution in spreading Islam in the Far East, since Muslims traders and merchants from India and other Muslim countries came there for trading purposes and also brought their civilization and religion with them. Great number of Malaya people accepted Islam in 1500.

Although it was ruled most of the time by Portuguese, Dutch and Britain but the majority is of Muslims. Islam spread to all over Malaysia from there and the ancient Mosques are witnessing about it even today.

The Malacca beach is unique in its beauty and tidiness. Blue sea is seen just in front, the bright sand and high cleanliness makes the beach captivating. Its beach has now gone farther from the sea as land has been taken to make room for the inhabitants, but the natural beauty of the beach has not been reduced even an inch.

The same strong wet winds of the age of Marco polo give visitors a new feel of freshness. These winds are blowing from America, Japan, Australia, China or Indian Ocean. Really a small city of Malacca and its Strait that joins many parts of the world is now among one of the wonders of Nature.

MOTIVATION, THE HEART OF SELF IMPROVEMENT.

Pain may sometimes be the reason why people change. Getting flunked grades make us realize that we need to study. Debts remind us of our inability to look for a source of income. Being humiliated gives us the ‘push’ to speak up and fight for ourselves to save our face from the next embarrassments. It may be a bitter experience, a friend’s tragic story, a great movie, or an inspiring book that will help us get up and get just the right amount of motivation we need in order to improve ourselves.

With the countless negativities the world brings about, how do we keep motivated? Try on the tips I prepared from A to Z…

A – Achieve your dreams. Avoid negative people, things and places. Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

B – Believe in your self, and in what you can do.

C – Consider things on every angle and aspect. Motivation comes from determination. To be able to understand life, you should feel the sun from both sides.

D – Don’t give up and don’t give in. Thomas Edison failed once, twice, more than thrice before he came up with his invention and perfected the incandescent light bulb. Make motivation as your steering wheel.

E – Enjoy. Work as if you don’t need money. Dance as if nobody’s watching. Love as if you never cried. Learn as if you’ll live forever. Motivation takes place when people are happy.

F – Family and Friends – are life’s greatest ‘F’ treasures. Don’t loose sight of them.

G – Give more than what is enough. Where does motivation and self improvement take place at work? At home? At school? When you exert extra effort in doing things.

H – Hang on to your dreams. They may dangle in there for a moment, but these little stars will be your driving force.

I – Ignore those who try to destroy you. Don’t let other people to get the best of you. Stay out of toxic people – the kind of friends who hates to hear about your success.

J – Just be yourself. The key to success is to be yourself. And the key to failure is to try to please everyone.

K – keep trying no matter how hard life may seem. When a person is motivated, eventually he sees a harsh life finally clearing out, paving the way to self improvement.

L – Learn to love your self. Now isn’t that easy?

M – Make things happen. Motivation is when your dreams are put into work clothes.

N – Never lie, cheat or steal. Always play a fair game.

O – Open your eyes. People should learn the horse attitude and horse sense. They see things in 2 ways – how they want things to be, and how they should be.

P – Practice makes perfect. Practice is about motivation. It lets us learn repertoire and ways on how can we recover from our mistakes.

Q – Quitters never win. And winners never quit. So, choose your fate – are you going to be a quitter? Or a winner?

R – Ready yourself. Motivation is also about preparation. We must hear the little voice within us telling us to get started before others will get on their feet and try to push us around. Remember, it wasn’t raining when Noah build the ark.

S – Stop procrastinating.

T – Take control of your life. Discipline or self control jives synonymously with motivation. Both are key factors in self improvement.

U – Understand others. If you know very well how to talk, you should also learn how to listen. Yearn to understand first, and to be understood the second.

V – Visualize it. Motivation without vision is like a boat on a dry land.

W – Want it more than anything. Dreaming means believing. And to believe is something that is rooted out from the roots of motivation and self improvement.

X – X Factor is what will make you different from the others. When you are motivated, you tend to put on “extras” on your life like extra time for family, extra help at work, extra care for friends, and so on.

Y – You are unique. No one in this world looks, acts, or talks like you. Value your life and existence, because you’re just going to spend it once.

Z – Zero in on your dreams and go for it!!!

No one cares how unique you are, as long as you meet their expectations in class, and in life.

When you’re a child, there are many changes going on physically, emotionally, and mentally. Those changes are different for every person. For some teenagers, it involves realizing that you are attracted to the opposite sex, the same sex, both, or neither. For others, it’s society dictating how they look, act, and just be. For those who are bigger, who have some fat on their bones, they are judged. They are pushed aside as ugly, and fat, and then they end up starving themselves to make sure they are thin. They have to dress a certain way, weigh a certain weight, and have to be what they want us to be.

Unique is a word that is encouraged, but not practiced. Schools want you to be the same as everyone else, your own parents want you to be perfect, and even your friends expect you to be like them. To be Unique, and to be special are things that are spoken about, but in reality, no one cares how unique you are, as long as you meet their expectations in class, and in life. You can’t read as fast as everyone else, oh, well then you fail this class. That’s just the way things are.

The LGBTQ community is hit harder by this lack of uniqueness more than any other group. More than the lack of being yourself, is the abundance in stereotypes. Gay guys are musically inclined and are involved in theatre. Not true. All lesbians are butch and are vegetarians. Not true. Bisexuals just want sex. Not true.

Due to these inaccurate descriptions and stereotypes, kids who are viewed in such a way, and in reality are not, are bullied. They are kicked around, shoved, and become antisocial. They withdraw into their own activities such as writing, or basketball. They center themselves around a support system, whether that happens to be at home or at school. If they don’t have one, or don’t feel like they have one, they turn in on themselves, and they start becoming violent.

Self harm and suicide are some ways kids deal with what’s going on. It’s not a particularly good way of exercising their pain, but some of them don’t know another way. Most others cry themselves to sleep every night or have triggers during the day from being bullied that cause them to become somewhat of a cry baby to their peers. Equality, that’s what we must strive for.

Equality, however, is a concept so simple and yet so complicated. We want everyone to be treated the same, but no one is the same. Everyone is different. The key to equality is to treat everyone the same regardless of their differences. Yet some differences require some form of special treatment. It is complicated, but if you just don’t see certain differences such as race, sexuality, looks, actions, and everything that makes them who they are, that is what it means to treat someone as an equal.

The main question is how do we stop kids from doing this to each other and to themselves? The solution starts at home. It starts with parents not only accepting their children for who they are and their choices, but also telling them that they can talk to them about anything. To encourage your children to talk to parents gives them an outlet. It gives them someone to talk to about their problems. And it keeps them from bottling it up inside of them. It also gives the next generation a way to be taught not to bully others.

The second place it has to start is with you, the reader of this. If you see someone being bullied for any reason whatsoever, you have two courses of action to take. You can ignore it, or you can do something about it. You can stand up for them, be a friend, and not bully others, because… For the simple fact it is not right. Everyone is equal, and no one deserves to be treated like that by strangers, friends, or family. Anyone. Everyone is equal.

Are you know 10 Unique Facts Thomas Alva Edison.

Dated February 11, 1847, Thomas Alva Edison, the greatest inventor of all time was born. The man dubbed the Witch genius Menlo Park that holds 1,093 patents in his name. He is also the inventor of the first to apply the principles of mass production in the discovery process thus making it a powerful businessman. Among the many success stories of the founders of General Electric was tucked some interesting facts. Here we present 10 of them:

1. Hard of hearing, not deaf

Edison often called deafness. But it is not at all can not hear, but have difficulty hearing properly. The causes vary according to several sources. Some call for a fever when she was little and some times the middle ear infection is not treated. Some say that his ears struck a train conductor when its chemical laboratory in the freight cars on fire.

2. Newspaper on the first train

Penchant Edison experimented in making railway carriages have labs in the carriage of goods even though the lab was finally burned. Edison then rebuild the chemistry lab and printing in the trunk of a car. From here he published the Grand Trunk Herald, which is the first newspaper published on the train.

3. Dot and Dash

Edison has three children from his marriage to Mary Stilwell. Two of his children were given a unique nickname, Dot (Marion Estelle Edison) and Dash (Thomas Alva Edison Junior), who allegedly taken from symbols used in Morse code the dots “.” And the line “-”.

4. Apply Mina with Morse code

After Mary Stilwell died, Edison met Mina Miller who was a boy inventor Lewis Miller. He taught Mina Morse code so they can communicate in secret with a tap code in their hands. One day Mina Edison asked: .- – ..- .-.. -.. -.- – ..- – .- .-. .-. -.- -. Mina which is answered by: -.-. … Soon, they were married.

5. Rejecting the so-called failed

Edison protest a newspaper containing headline: “After 9955 times failed to find the incandescent light bulb, Edison finally managed to find the lights on”. He asked the headline was replaced. The next day, at the request of Edison, to replace the newspaper headline be: “After 9955 times managed to find a lamp that lights failed, Edison finally managed to find the lights on”.

6. The first patent failed

In 1869, at the age of 22, Edison obtained his first patent for a voice recorder telegraphic machines that he designed for the legislature. With the tool, each member of the legislature simply move a button on a machine that will record the bill of his choice. Unfortunately, the legislature rejected the device because of the way it works is slow.

7. Tattoo machine

In 1876, Edison patented the Stencil-pens, a tool that Samuel O’Reilly later modified to become the first tattoo machine. But he still was awarded for his discovery of the first tattoo machine.

8. The first industrial research laboratory

After selling the quadruplex telegraph that bought Western Union for $ 10 thousand, Edison used the money he earned to build a place that would deliberately dikhususkannya to continue to produce and develop products of technological innovation. The place is located in Menlo Park, New Jersey that eventually evolved into the first industrial research laboratory in the world.

9. Witch Menlo Park

The nickname was acquired after the successful Edison invented the phonograph in 1877 as well as raise its popularity. The achievement was unexpected by many people that seem like magic. His first successful phonograph record sound on tinfoil around a grooved cylinder. However, the resulting sound-quality is still poor and the tapes can only be played back several times.

10. Electricity for all

The concept and implementation of power generation and distribution to homes, offices, and factories are very important in the development of modern industrialized world. Edison was the first to come up with that concept. The first electric power plant built on Manhattan Island, New York in 1882.

Confidence - some people have it, some people don't. This article shows you tips on how to get confidence, use confidence and learn about confidence.

Confidence is standing up for what you believe in,

Confidence is not giving a care about what people think of you,

Confidence is achieving things you want.

I learnt this valuable lesson from an early age, my parents used to say “if you have no confidence then you have no life” and you know what, I still believe every word of it. People with no confidence always have no self-esteem and are always self-conscious that’s why they don’t get far in life – lets face it, even if you get straight A’s you won’t get the job of your dream because your confidence will let you down in the job interview. Employers have changed in the last decade or so – not only are they looking for bright individuals, they’re looking for individuals that burst with confidence. People that believe in themselves and believe in what they can achieve. I have written this article to help those who are not so bursting in confidence and find them they’re confidence.

Be your own best friend:

I learnt this lesson from a you tuber and lets face it, it’s quite a good lesson. Some of you might think its stupid but i think its one of the most important lesson you need to learn to gain confidence. Confidence isn’t something you can buy in a shop – you have to build it up like a strong brick and steel sky scraper. You can’t trust anyone as much as your own self – not even your closest friend because there’s a chance you might have a fight and she/he will go off telling anyone she/he can get her/his hands on. Its really important to be your own best friend – it makes you independent and helps you believe in your self. Independence is really important because it means that you don’t have to rely on people like your bank or friends cause they can make your life living hell. I mean if you really need help why don’t you comment yourself.

Don’t doubt yourself:

People with little or no confidence often doubt themselves – and that is a complete no no. Everyone must rely on themselves and believe in every decision they make, if you doubt your self then others doubt you and believe me it wont create a good image of you. One of the things people who doubt themselves need to learn is to let go of expectations. Its usually people with high expectations that get greatly disappointed. When people get so greatly disappointed they start to doubt themselves. When something like that does happen, you need to question yourself and ask if there were any reason behind why you probably didn’t do so well. By doing this you are separating your expectation and disappointment.

Stop comparing yourself:

This is one of the most common factors as of why people are lowering the confidence they have. I mean, people don’t care whether your not a skinny and fit as other people, not as clever as other people or not as popular as others – they care about who you are as a person. There might be a man or a women at work or school whose got the perfect body and is intelligent and is rich but that doesn’t mean they’re perfect and you HAVE to be like them. For all you know they might have lost family or might have had a bad past – REMEMBER, NO ONES PERFECT.

Love yourself:

Many people hate themselves, they’re body or their personality. Every single person is individual and unique – there is no such thing as perfect. Love yourself and always think about how lucky you are because there are people in Africa and poor countries where they will do hard manual work for a penny a day, not being able to afford to feed their family and having to watch their children, babies and wives starve to death and just knowing that they will never get anywhere in their life. Think about how lucky you are safe and sound in the comfort of your home with an education that can achieve you anything you’ve ever want.

Bullying:

Everyone has experienced bullying once in their lifetime whether at school or at work. Bullying can really lower ones self esteem as that’s it purpose. Bullying can come in many forms, if it hurts your feeling then it counts as bullying. Try to build a shield around yourself, anything designed to hurt your feelings just gets rebound. Remember – harsh comments only become true when you make them true. If someone is being a bitch and is bitching about you then don’t try to bitch about them as-well, this will only make you just as bad as they are. The only reason why their bitching about you is because they want to look superior against someone that they know has no confidence because they think they can trample all over you. There’s a chance that their being bullied and they want to take out all their doubt in themselves on someone else to make them selves look good. Remember if it continues try to stand up for yourself, believe in yourself and tell someone you can trust because then your not on your own.

I hope this article has helped just remember – YOU ARE UNIQUE IN EVERY WAY!!!

Best of luck

Tale composing is definitely an artwork. A tale should be fascinating just like a great film, melodious such as fairly sweet songs, center successful such as wonderful behaving as well as vibrant just like a fantastic bit of piece of art. It ought to be a good combinations of these types of elements. Just after that it may stand out like a work of art. It’s not simple to create tales for individuals associated with various age range. Every grow older offers its needs along with a qualified author requires each one of these into account, whilst developing a tale.

Within kid’s tales the very first component that needs to be provided concern is really a vibrant explanation associated with various figures, points as well as locations. Kids tend to be drawn to attractive as well as attention getting shows which consider these phones their own goals property. There must be much less utilization of phrases and much more utilization of photos. These types of photos ought to be actual sufficient to provide existence towards the tale, a great mixture of colors combined collectively within total tranquility. They ought to possess the energy as well as miracle associated with informing a tale without needing phrases. They have to catch the interest from the visitors through fascinating all of them so as though they’re below the mean. They have to possess correct series, to inform the actual tale step-by-step. Just about all figures ought to be pictured reasonably via image representation so the visitors obtain a obvious look at of the features through reading through the actual words and phrases noticeable on the encounters. They ought to display the actual bodily characteristics as well as options that come with these types of figures. This can increase the curiosity from the kids.

The 2nd component ought to be associated with wealthy creativity. Kids reside in the actual dream globe of the creativity. These people adore mythical figures associated with princes, princesses, nobleman, a queen, goblins, fairies, toons, and so on. These types of figures attract their own feeling associated with creativity as well as improve their own crazy ideas. These types of figures possess their very own characteristics which make all of them unique as well as favorite one of the kids. Many of them tend to be idealized through all of them (kids) plus they like to observe on their own within the guise of those figures.

There must be the wealthy piece, style as well as environment which excite the eye associated with kids within the tale. The actual piece must have the actual component of secret, excitement as well as crisis in order to amuse the actual visitors. There must be the turmoil associated with various figures, in which the good types should always end up being powerful as well as amazing. These types of tales should not consist of any kind of interpersonal issue or even questionable problems as a result subjects do not complement the actual psychological calibre associated with kids.

The 3rd aspect in the actual tale ought to be the utilization of motion in order to move the actual kid’s interest. The great figures ought to combat the actual bad. The great should dominate ultimately and also the bad ought to arrived at a finish. This can assist in the smoothness creating associated with kids and can train all of them the significance associated with ethical ideals as well as integrity. These types of tales also needs to possess some pet figures, that may speak as well as act such as people. This kind of tales extremely amuse the actual visitors. Kids like to find out about their own favorite creatures. This kind of tales needs to be created within easy detailed phrases which are very easily recognized through kids. Utilization of adjectives is recognized as suitable such tales. Face words and phrases along with other bodily functions ought to be described via all of them. They ought to additionally supply with regard to explaining numerous character characteristics associated with various figures.

A tale created with one of these components will certainly engross the kids and they’re going to enjoy as well as enjoy reading through all of them.

Here’s an additional post associated with my own. It’s another topic compared to other people as well as identifies the different components regarded as required for composing kid’s tales.
