A brief article outlining some of the reasons family is important.

I am a firm believer in family. I believe through my own life experiences that family and the recognition of the unity that a family enjoys is essential to global peace. I feel that through family, we first learn the basic respect that every indiviual is entitled to. It is in the involvement and growth of the family that we can see such excellent examples of how to live in peace with one another and enjoy the prosperity that exudes from the cooperation of individuals. When I was just a boy I learned from my family how to cultivate strength to forgive and to discover the real, ultimate lasting power through practicing forgiveness. It was with family that I first learned to stand for myself and to accept nothing less than the best from myself. I also developed a keen understanding of the importance of family through the recognition of the power, peace, and love that any family enjoys when there is co-operation between all members. When family is set as the most important thing there is a special strength, peace, and creative advantage that all members experience. It is in family that we first find light through dark times and where we find strentgh to enter the unknown. I believe and I’m sure you’ll agree that we are all related and as such we are then all just one big family living together in this planet that we call home. Imagine the drastic amounts of power and evolution that everyone could enjoy under a spirit of love for one another. It is true that two heads are better than one and it is further true that the most excellent results come form a person not when he is under threat of competition or even death but rather when he knows that his neighbor is there to back him up 110% whenever he runs into a challege. As our story evovles we see even more distict practical eternal advantages to making family the most important thing. By the inital love, acceptance and confidence entrusted is created an even more commited powerful effect recipricated in the original persons direction. Two horses always pull more than either horse could possibly pull alone. It works most powerfully when there is harmony and harmony I believe can be devolped best in the Family

We must be ever vigilant in our choice at the polls. We do have power and we must use it diligently. Each of us has a responsibility to use our awesome power to the best of our ability. Our differences can be our strength.

I don’t want my vote going to people who run for office that have made their way up the ladder by taking, taking and wanting more. I would rather vote for good leadership and honest representation from a politician that has given, given and wants to give more. What was wrong with the little, white frame house in Springfield Illinois where Abe Lincoln lived? It was big enough for him; it should be big enough for any of today’s leaders.

I look at those who run for office and see who and what they really represent. Some look out for their friends and those with power and those who can give back in return. Many politicians have personal and business connections with big money. Who do you think has their ear after they are elected? I am tired of the attitude; you want a bridge to nowhere? We can do that. You want to drill oil in the Indian’s back yard? We can do that too. You want to have more smoke stacks? We can do that, it might cost you more? Politics and political history being what it is, we will always have some influence peddling, some negotiations of give and take with representation with local and business leaning, but we accept that when justice and equality are also present. We must get the personal agendas and hidden graft out of our bills and riders which has gone too far in recent politics. We have a divided nation and a divided congress.

We live in the greatest country in the world, not because of those who have led us over the past thirty years, but because of our founding principles, our constitution, the rule of law spiced with consideration, trust, fairness, decency, family, and for the good of all, by a government established for the people (not just the rich and powerful) by the people, (farmers, hunters and workers) and of the people, (not just those with influential connections.) We need leaders who have made jobs for people and not destroyed them. We need leaders who work to protect our American way of life.

When I look at any politician running for office, I look at his family, his work history, his past offerings and what he has accomplished as a citizen and not as a tyrant in either business or politics. I look for a person who understands me and what I have to go through to make my way through life. I want leaders that look at the bottom ninety percent of the citizenry first and the top ten percent second. It goes without saying that government support of the top ten percent often is passed down to the bottom ninety percent.

I don’t vote for a person because of how much tax he pays, how big his house is or how many cars he has. I don’t care if he has one vacation home or five, that might be an indication of how hard he works and what he can offer in the future. I want to know what he has done for America, you and me.

Rather, I would want to see how a politician made his money to buy his vacation homes, fill his political war chest, etc. There must be a reason why big business will give millions and millions to campaigns to get a certain person in office, a selfish reason I would judge. How can the ten dollars from a widow or a disabled vet compete with that? I don’t begrudge big business, we need them, we need more of them, but I like to see the businessman that sells his vacation home during a slow down or economic depression so that his workers won’t be laid off. Yes, we have business owners that do that. I would rather see a businessman pay his idle workers and help them find other jobs until business picks up again. I like the business that offers health insurance, tuition aid and family counseling and a host of other things instead of using company money to attract influential friends, lobbyists, and to offer huge sums to campaign blocks. And just as I like the business that takes care of the worker, I like the politician that uses his efforts for all the people. Why in the world would a business dealing with the government want a certain politician in office anyway? Isn’t that overpowering the small voter? Campaigns should be run on merit instead of money. Does it take money and advertising at the rate we see today to put an honest and dedicated man into office? We should elect our leaders by a more reliable method such as past experience and dedication to the American way of life, not just for a few Americans, but for all Americans. It is my humble opinion that our early founders believed in a power greater than eternity itself, I can respect that and really appreciate a leader who feels that he is not that power, but yields to a force greater than any one of us. We should have the right to believe the way we want to and that includes those who believe differently than I do. Each individual must council his own mind.

Deciding who will run your government should not be taken casually, but with great passion. The leader(s) you vote for should not be a cut and dried decision because of the party our grandparents voted for. But we should choose on the merits of the party and that of those who will lead that party today. Party principles are very important, and leaders of both parties have been proven to be good for America. We can only hope that America has informed, rational, and interested voters who understands that money and advertising is trying to buy the American way of life. Party politics must be considered in our decision making process. We have such an impasse when our represented leaders stand in the way of progress just to make the other party look bad. Winning an argument is not worth destroying our government.

Dr Robert E McGinnis – Author for over thrity years.Open the door to your mind.

Throughout my voting history I have voted equally as much for one party as I have the other. My voting history is a split ticket from the top to the bottom. I do my best to vote for the cause and not the glamor, for the man and not the promise. Think about it, who does your candidate really represent?

An article describing fear, why it works, and its solution.

Fear, the word used to describe something that scares us. Fear itself can be used tactically by group of people to capture another group of people into a very specific conscious perception of reality. In this format of reality, all the power is given then, to the group of people who scare the other group. But fear is a very low perception of reality. It complicates everyday objective situations into overwhelming hazards that we just stop doing completely over time. We cease to gain any new sort of digestible material for our brain to process, so instead our brains get used to the same pattern of identity we decide to become. When this happens and continues to happen, something intriguing happens. We get angry, annoyed, bored, start feeling more and more negatively associated emotions. Then we think of what we can do to solve these problems, once we did all the mundane chores, and pointless work, that we thought would solve our problem we realize we still have lots more time. So we look for something else, but are stopped almost as soon as we turn around by fear. Fear of something, of some sort. We allow ourselves to become afraid, we lose our own power to the controller of the fear. Instead of reacting in a fearful manner (Which is what the controller wants) we should find the best possible standpoint to take, and always take it. Love is that standpoint every time. If you respond in an unconditional loving way, this will accumulate into your entire reality. There is scientific information out there now to suggest that we through our consciousness play a part in designing the very fabric of our existence, which in so permeates outward into everything. How much of our existence we create is of course up to debate, and I theorize will only increase if humanity unifies. The replacement of love instead of fear also has another benefit, it’s never expected by the controller of the fear, and is stronger than any fear possible.

A article describing Unity Consciousness.

The most obvious yet most seemingly hindering obstacle humanity must over-come, our transgression into unity consciousness. As a whole, we must see through our individual flaws. We must see we are all we got. We must see the sacrifice and intention that goes into us continuing our existence. If as humanity, we do not unify as one loving, truthful, and devout standard then we will consequently devolve. This is as simple as put. Do not heed fear because we can do just that. Almost every single person on the face of this planet is going through an intense amount of change right now. The Earth itself is going through a rigorous reconstruction phase partly due to humanity’s toxic ways and partly due to cyclic nature of the universe. When everything is settled down a new way of being will be presented out of the confusion. I do not know when or how we will unify; I just know it needs to happen if humanity wishes to see its next stage of evolution.

We do not have to have children in Somalia who are starving and searching desperately for their next meal, we do not need governments that exhibit excess amounts of force on the people, and we most certainly do not need a world police force that riles in the puddle of its corruption. Yes these things humanity can continue without. We can have food for every single person on the planet, we can have free uninterrupted energy for every single person on this planet, and we can have abundant prosperity for every single person on this planet. All it takes is some good conscious direction. Separation is only of use by the separator, while the separated suffer. Only when they see that, they intentional separated themselves to learn, will they see the blissful beauty in there union.

We cling to, "Separation." Division is the easiest tool of rule. "Unity," is the answer to conflict, division and jingoism in our global society.

Image by CupNoodlesBrasil via Flickr | Together as One People via UNITY

How do the powerful maintain their position? Politicians and the Military control the media by broadcasting illusory division – black from white, gay from straight and nation from nation. Vested interests use separation propaganda to make money. For instance, we would have not guns to make if there were no borders between lands – unity would end conflict as we would no longer have, “The other,” to fight.

Image by Matt Stabile via Flickr | All People As One NO Division Shared Wealth

Us and Them

Here are three examples of separation mentality and how it makes money:

1. War. All wars are between distinct powers, e.g. India vs. Pakistan or Israel and Palestine. If the people of these countries thought about it – they are all human beings sharing this planet with no need to battle. An arms sale makes firms a lot of money that UNITY will take from these manufacturers of death.

2. Religion – Judaism vs. Islam is a prime note. Again separation is a tool to keep you bowed down and chanting. Let’s remind ourselves that both are simply creations of the imagination of ancient curmudgeons. Dogma is a clear rule when brainwashing and dividing. People toss coins to the passing bowl in churches in the name of a single religion opposed to another religion. Harmony would empower people to find their own spirituality in universal human hood without the need for venues and books.

3. Sex – Gay vs. Straight, Bisexual vs. Transsexual and many more, is a glittering example of division, to make cold hard cash. Cooked up in the writings of people in the past, today, sex-separation is the way we are, in Toto, controlled. Congressing in pan sexuality, in UNITY, relegates the pink dollar to the dustbin of history and a lot of lucre is lost.

“Solutions Solutions Solution!”

How do we construct UNANIMITY? What is the means to topple, “Separation Propaganda?” Answer! Simply change the way you think. Know in your heart we are all of the same ancestors, the same human family and we can all now fight labels for countries, peoples and skin. SIMPLY CHANGE YOUR MIND whenever you hear, read or talk LABELS for this is mental division and the reason we all are downtrodden.

ATHENS/PARIS (Reuters) – The European Union turned up the heat on bickering Greek politicians on Sunday to agree a crisis coalition, demanding progress towards backing an international bailout deal in the next 24 hours.

In a sign that Greece’s political deadlock may be easing under EU pressure, a senior socialist said Prime Minister George Papandreou had made clear he would resign once a coalition deal was done, possibly as soon as Sunday night.

With euro zone finance ministers due to meet on Monday, senior socialist lawmaker Telemachos Hitiris said: “Everything must be done within the day, otherwise tomorrow it will be hell.”

Earlier, the conservative opposition offered to cooperate in forming a national unity government that would push the euro zone bailout through parliament provided Papandreou stood aside after two years at the helm as Greece slid towards bankruptcy.

European Economic and Monetary Affairs Commissioner Olli Rehn demanded a Greek unity government to restore confidence, which has been shaken by doubts that Athens would commit itself to the 130 billion euro bailout package. Rehn wanted progress by the time euro zone finance ministers including Greek Deputy Prime Minister Evangelos Venizelos meet on Monday night.

“We have called for a national unity government and remain persuaded that it is the convincing way of restoring confidence and meeting the commitments,” he told Reuters.

“We need a convincing report on this by Finance Minister Venizelos tomorrow in the Eurogroup.” [nL6E7M604Q]

A BREACH OF CONFIDENCE

Greece had breached confidence with its euro zone partners last week and put itself on a path towards leaving the common currency, Rehn said in a telephone interview.

Papandreou provoked uproar on Monday by announcing a referendum on the bailout, which demands yet more austerity to be imposed on the long-suffering Greek population, plunging his country into political as well as economic crisis.

Under heavy pressure from home and abroad, Papandreou ditched the referendum and narrowly survived a confidence vote, but only after promising to seek a new broad-based coalition. Rehn said Greece now appeared to be pulling back from the brink.

Early on Sunday, the left and right had seemed far apart and any coalition deal between Papandreou’s PASOK socialists and the conservative New Democracy a distant prospect.

But the EU pressure appeared to start working. With the cabinet due to meet later on Sunday, Hitiris said explicitly what Papandreou had signalled in parliament on Friday.

“Papandreou will resign once the new prime minister is selected,” he told state NET TV. “We only have to wait for the prime minister’s announcements in the cabinet.”

TORTURING THE GREEK PEOPLE

In the hunt for a national consensus, President Karolos Papoulias met the conservative opposition leader on Sunday.

“This uncertainty that is torturing the Greek people must end. We must find a solution,” Papoulias said before starting closed-door talks with New Democracy leader Antonis Samaras.

Samaras said he was ready for compromise but only with a new prime minister. “I am determined to help. Provided that Papandreou resigns, everything will take its course,” he said after the talks.

The bailout deal aims to save Greece from bankruptcy and to prevent its problems tipping much bigger euro zone economies such as Italy and Spain into full-blown crisis.

Venizelos has already received one lecture when German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Nicolas Sarkozy summoned him with Papandreou before a G20 meeting last week.

The leaders made clear that Greece would receive not one cent more in European aid until it had signed up to the latest bailout, the second package since Athens had to go cap in hand to the European Union and IMF in May last year.

Greeks have fought the pay and pensions cuts, combined with higher taxes, demanded by the international lenders with a series of strikes and protests, some violent.

But the state is due to run out of money in December, when it has big debt repayments to meet, and by then needs the sixth instalment of its existing EU/IMF bailout package.

A senior New Democracy official said Samaras was willing to negotiate a government of politicians, rather than one comprising technocrats, if Papandreou stepped aside. Party sources said he was under pressure from his own lawmakers, who feared the consequences if they were left out of a coalition.

Having demanded snap elections, he might be willing to discuss a date later than his preferred early December vote.

The source made no mention of who might lead the government but New Democracy is unlikely to accept any top member of the ruling PASOK party such as Venizelos.

Only a week ago the bailout deal seemed in the bag, but then Papandreou dropped the referendum bombshell, prompting widespread fear that Greece might be forced out of the euro and have to go it alone with a revived national currency.

“Europeans don’t trust us anymore, they will throw us out,” said Tassos Pagonis, a 48-year-old Athens taxi driver. “I hope we don’t return to the drachma.”

Mr. Jura had decided to join and lead a labor union. He had no idea that a catastrophic event was about to change his life. The new management of the company he worked with had taken over the former management - started reorganization and changed some of the company’s policies. Mr. Jura had worked for seven years as an accounts officer with the company.

Image via Wikipedia

The new management hired new personnel and employees. But on a certain account, they used cost – cutting procedure. They used to cut on the number of employees on a certain department. The company had introduced forced labor effectively. It affected to the old employees especially. They obliged their employees to do the jobs and responsibilities as the same as supervisors.

He explained, “I handled so many loan accounts, including monitoring, collections’ procedures, and other legal documentation. I could see that there were discrepancies. Promotions and salary increases were awarded and mostly enjoyed by the newly hired personnel. I have a pending promotion that the company had promised. The harmonious relationship between the employees and the employer had become chaotic. Favoritism had become obvious and the situation became worst.”

Those strategies that the company practiced had increased Mr. Jura’s desire to organize a labor union, of about two hundred members, with the primary objective of protecting the employees against the unfair labor practices of the company.

During his active Leadership – Mr. Jura noted that some of the union members were afraid to negotiate with the employer. He said, “There was a strong warning by the company, to terminate employees involved to such activity.” But despite the management cautionary action, the union stood its ground vigorously and there were more struggles.

“I concluded two Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) with the employer. The first CBA had taken us by eight months to negotiate with the employer. In the middle of negotiation with the company, they offered me promotion and money. But I had never accepted it until it ended up with deadlocked bargaining. Those eight months of bargaining with the employer had brought us too much difficulty. I really needed the money to sustain my mother’s hospitalization and to support my family. It was really hard for me to handle the situation. But this had not affected my strong desire to lead the union. But it was difficult to render a visible protest against the company’s unfair labor practices,” he said.

The plans on a Yes – to – Strike. The union members wore arm – bands with slogans, and had picketed in front of the administration’s building. It took them a month. But the company still did not alter its decision. They felt that their crusade had failed. Their struggles seemed to have no success. These were months of desolation. It affected Mr. Jura greatly. That period of his crusade with the union had made him crippled. His mother’s condition had affected him. The agony had penetrated his heart, brought by the disturbing events, but he had never deviated from his decision. Courageously, they have said, ‘Yes to strike,’ through a consultation with the Department of Labor Employment (DOLE).

The plans on a Yes – to – Strike by the union had worried the company. So the company bribed one of the employees of DOLE to release an assumption order to stop the possible strike of the union. But the union went through with their crusade that urged the company to grant some of their demands.

In that provision, all employees, either union members or non – union members will receive 3% profit shares from the company’s annual income.

According to Mr. Jura, the first and second distributions were in good faith, while the third time of distribution was shocking. They found that the non – members received a greater amount than the union members. This urged Mr. Jura to request a consultation with the management, but to no avail. The management justified it as their prerogative. This made the union open their second CBA.

Their second CBA with the company was not as fruitful. Their legal counsel (union) had renewed some of the existing provisions stated in the CBA. The management (company) bribed their counsel with some money.

“We continued our struggles. We filed the case with the National Labor Counsel. The issue was for equal profit sharing. Luckily, we won the case, after two long years of labor hearings!” he said.

Mr. Jura felt jubilation to win the case. He never sold his principle and dignity to the company. He would cherish it throughout his life span and share it to his kids. He resigned from his job with dignity and pride. He said, “Courage and Unity were the best weapons to Victory.”

“It was really difficult to handle the situation. I lost my job. I have a family that needed my support. Those disturbing events that happened to me did not diminish my strength and willingness to live and survive, but I strive more to keep on living,” said Mr. Jura.

He added, “If it happened to you and you lost your job come down and never get mad. It is not the end of the world for you. There are more opportunities for you to find a job. Jobs are there just around you. Think positively. Don’t just put yourself in a corner, remembering those bad experiences that happened to you before. Maintain a good relationship with your family. Trust and understanding are really needed in this situation.

“Your family is your outlet to discuss what is good. See your friends. They are willing to help you. They can refer you to another company that needs your services. Deliver yourself to the Good Lord. He is always behind you to support you, to guide you. He is the first and the last to seek for help because hope is there.”

At present Mr. Jura is working as a Secretary at a Construction Company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It is said that Demonstrations and Rallies are adding to the fear of investors depriving ourselves of the investments needed to kick-start the economy but they also help to check our officials wrong doings!

Tips on how to make your paper content good.

To write effectively is to communicate clearly to your audience, so work at clarity and keep your audience in mind. The way you write your paper is not very different from the way you should write any other discourse. As in any piece of writing, you should vary sentence structures and sentence length. Writing, in so far as possible, in the active voice rather than the passive voice will help keep readers moving along. You should also write specifically and certainly avoid unsubstantiated generalizations.

Consistency in the way you write is particularly important and to write a good content, you are expected to adhere to a number of stylistic customs. Here are some of the important things you should consider in writing your paper:

Unity and Coherence

A unified paper is one that deals with a single subject and has a central idea it sticks to about the subject. If you have chosen a subject carefully and prepared a good outline which you basically stick to as you write, you may be certain that your paper is unified. Don’t get carried away with ideas that you strike you while you are working, for disgressions detract from the unity of a paper.

A coherent paper is one that hangs together well, that not only holds the attention of readers but also helps them move from one point to another. A well-structured outline from which you write a carefully organized paper helps tie everything in it together.

Adequate Support

Writing that simply tosses out ideas has little believability, no matter how worthwhile the thoughts may be. On the other hand, were those same ideas supported adequately, they would demand credence and even acceptance by readers.

Support for various statements in your paper can take many forms, details of which are in most composition books. For instance, you might offer examples or statistics. Actually, the documentation you offer throughout your paper will be the major support for what you write. Using authoritative sources is a part of such documentation.

Emphasis

When you speak to somebody, you can emphasize what you believe is important by repeating words, by stressing particular ideas with your voice, or by pausing beforemaking an important statement. Only repitition is available when you write, and even then it doesn’t work the same way as in speaking.

Concreteness and Specificity

Good writing tells the audience exactly what you convey, leaving nothing to chance or to guesswork. Therefore, wording ought to be concrete rather than abstract, and specific rather than general.

Concrete words name what you want to ascertain through the senses; what you see, hear, smell, touch, and taste. Abstract words on the other hand, name feelings, beliefs, or ideas “beauty,” “happiness,” “honor,” “intellectual freedom,” and the “American way” are examples of abstractions, because they may signify different concepts to those who read or hear such words. Although you don’t do much advanced or sophisticated writing without it using abstractions, concrete words are of great in coveying your own thoughts (even abstractions) directly to your audience.

Specific words limit meaning in another way; they narrow the concept expressed by a general word. “Animal” is a general world, because it signifies a wide range of living creatures, from whales to amoebas. “Whale” is more specific than animal, but even it can be made more specific. In writing your paper, the more specific the wording you use, the more accurately you convey your thoughts to readers.

Strength of country depends on the unity of its citizens.

‘Union is strength’ is famous saying, indeed it is a universal law whose truth and validity are above board. Molecules are formed by union of atoms; unity of molecules form substances, strength of a substance lies in the unity and harmony of its atoms and molecules, and same rules apply in case of herds of animal and societies of human beings, and their survival depends on their unity.

Strength of country depends on the unity of its citizens, united citizens of a country play stronger role in growth of the strength of a country, because unity is strength. On other hand disunity destroys the society; disunity lessens the strength of society, to build a strong society people must live untidily.

History reveals number of cases in which societies destroyed, because of the lack of unity among their individual, so lack of unity weakens the nation, when society is divided into clans, tribe, group and sects, to becomes week and prone to harm. History also show that many nation were whipped out are enslaved only because they were divided into ethics, religious, political or linguistic groups. Strength of unity is more obvious in the modern time, and nations have achieved rapid progress and prosperity through united efforts.

During my senior year of high school a good friend of mine chose to take the path and answer of suicide. His impact was felt throughout the whole school and everyone grieved and came together. It was a week I'll never forget and this piece of writing describes what the effects can feel like. I encourage anyone to read this and feel impacted.

Walking into high school this morning I was blind-sided by a semi. David Haas, my friend since freshman year, was captured by the most fowl and hideous creature known to man, suicide. Hearing this, my pile turned into a pile of warm bubbling mush. Left in absolute shock, I trembled with emotions and stumbled to class. The exuberant man I had known for four years was out of my life forever. Still, I haven’t been able to accept the fact he’s gone.

At what point does a man decide to end it?

“A permanent solution to a temporary problem.”

Walking through the school I watched as everyone’s emotions flooded over the halls. You see people with bright red faces from constant grief. Truly a depressing sight to witness, the dark black cloud will smile sinisterly over us forever…

I’ve dealt with suicide multiple times throughout life. Accepting the fact David is gone will be extremely difficult, and watching my peers crumble to tears will stick to my conscience till I die.

Where is the light?

Maybe no more exists, the grueling beast of depression can be so difficult to overcome. The Haas family will be in our hearts forever, there is no way to explain the amount of pain, which will beat upon them, daily. The next days are gong to be unbearable, and the only way to make it through will be unity of the student body.

I approached Emily, Davids girlfriend, with a blank look across my face. As if I even knew what to say. Nothing anyone says is going to change the situation. It’s best to express the remorse you feel and let it be. David, although had some deceiving last words, was one of the most kind hearted friends one could ask for.

Maybe this finally is the year we realize how important it is to call upon our friends. Work out issues and any agonizing pain that lurks within. I love you David, your impact will continue to change the lives of everyone who knew you.
