It’s sunny day filled with romantic in the air. It was presupposed to have been a celebration of romance and love. But I am unable to imagine his chosen to finish up our relationship on this specific morning. At this time,on such a romantic Valentine’s day,I broke up with my boyfriend,I’ve no selection but to relieve my emotions by enjoying WoW.

Standing in Orgrimmar,I saw couples of gamers strolling together with candy coronary heart on over their head, shouting and dancing collectively and laughing. Sadly, I was the only one who stand alone and being ignored. He and I used to be World of Warcraft enthusiasts.I was a lvl 60 female Warlock and he was a Lvl 82 male Warrior. We took fancy on one another in recreation,so we used to play together and shortly become good friends.Prior to now,he all the time gave me helping hand anytime I need to degree up or making gold wow. On the last Valentine’s day, he tried exhausting farming wow gold himself for the aim of sending me epic flying mount as a Valentine gift. I was so excited and deeply felt in love with him from then on. Quickly we grew to become harmonious couples being admired by lots of in-sport players.

In the morning ,I received an e-mail from him saying that he was sorry and he is aware of this came out of left subject however he didnt mean to hurt me.He mentioned that something was lacking from our relationship and demand to interrupt up with me. I was devastated,we never quarreled,by no means fought, had journeys planned and everything.I didnt hear from him after his email. Neither to say to fulfill him in the game.I am so depressed and do not know what to do.

Nonetheless,I found it a good way relieve my feelings by crying in sport, yelling like” What’s a boyfriend ? I broke up with my boyfriend. Who else wish to play wow with me on Valentine’s day….. “. My yelling aroused plenty of gamer’s consideration and to came right here and comforted me with heat hugs, invited for becoming a member of a group and somebody even online and gave some as a Valentine gift. I abruptly find out that there are so many warmed hearted players around me and made me completely happy get pleasure from playing.Anyway,it’s a good way to relieve my emotions playing wow, without him I nonetheless have wow, don’t you suppose so?

It’s a modern version of the notebook.

The Vow

It about how a young lady who suffers memory loss instead of an old woman this time around, the movie tells of how a young couple deals with “Memory Loss” of one partner and how they figure it out to the end….

The movie starts off with a theory by Paige Collins (Rachel McAdams) “that girls get pregnant if they do it in a car”, she and her husband Leo Collins (Channing Tatum) got in a fatal car accident, Paige’s memory gets wiped up until the time she remembers been in Law school and not marrying her husband and also not even knowing him..

Leo also has a theory of life that moments of impact in our lives define who we are, that we are the sum total of the experience of all the people we ever known and these moments become our history, with this, he uses this theory to get his wife back. Her parents want her to come home since she could only remember been with them this poses to be real challenge for Leo…………

Paige goes back to her old life, and trying to put the pieces together, because her supposed life she was living with her husband and the life she remembers do not have anything in common, her life took a U-turn due to some happenings in her life, influenced by own decisions. So Leo tries to create moments that could make his wife fall in love with him again but to no avail his theory fails him……………

The task at hand for Leo is actually hard, he did not get to meet the Paige he knew who was just a down girl, who really didn’t care about the fancy things of life, instead he got an uptown girl who loved the “uptown life”, wanted “an uptown spouse” and also wanted “an uptown career”……….

Paige figures her life on her own and finds out why she was living her life the way she did before the accident, and finds her way back to Leo’s arms.

The movie is modern not some olden 1960’s movie, if they had painted the story the way the critics wanted it would have been a cheesy one, not something we could relate with in this day and time…

It tells of the couple fighting and freaking out on how the whole experience is so hard and seeming difficult for both parties unlike “The Notebook” where they had lesser issues handling the whole memory loss issues, it was more of a challenge than a problem in “The Notebook”, and on the other hand “The Vow” handled the whole situation the way any 21st Century Couple would……..

How modern could the story be told a young couple so in love, in a city and they have friends that love them and they live a life of which they chase their own different passions, they both own different studios, the husband owns a Recording studio while the while the wife owns an Art studio….

The story could not have been illustrated any better than this; because it was a true life story, I will give it 3 stars….

Paige’s Vow

I vow to help your love life

To always hold you in tenderness and have the patience that love demands

To speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they are not

To agree to disagree on a red velvet cake and to live with the warmth of your heart

And always coming home

Leo’s Vow

I vow to fiercely love thee in all your forms now and forever

I promise to never forget that this is a once in a life time moment

And always know the deepest part of your soul

And no matter the challenges that might carry us apart

we’ll always find our ways back to each other…….

A fond remembrance of all friends - Past and Present.

Many a month in the calendar brings refreshing and pleasant memories. If it is December/Jan. it is music season, Christmas, New Year, Pongal / Sankranti; if it is October pooja holidays replete with navaratri, dandia, kolu. And Feb, it is Valentine’s Day. Whether it has any historical or legendary basis, this day has to be cherished for the establishment of healthy, friendly and regardful relationship between a boy and a girl, man and woman.

Women and more so relationship with them, at different stage in my life has made it memorable and meaningful. Though my chronicle in this regard may not be even remotely as scurrilous as the distant ‘diary of Samuel Pepy’ or for that matter our very own sensational (sensual!) Sardarji in his ‘woman in my life’ – I can make a decent list of them with a proviso however that they will neither be ‘named nor identified’. Anonymity has an aura of its own in quite many things. I just cannot name it much less define it. (Is it as confusing as “heart has its reason which reason knows not”?!)

My mother used to tell me that even as a toddler I was more amenable to women servants than their male counter parts. Many of her women friends used to pick me up for what you might call a ‘childish play’. Pushing 70 I have had lots of occasions and opportunities which I grabbed, rather than the women I am talking about, (unlike what a super cop did to a lady bureaucrat in Punjab – remember) which most certainly endeared me in their eyes vesting the pursuit with an enviable endurance of sorts.

In this game (gamut?) there has been a celebrity lady novelist, well known editor of an equally well known magazine for women, a lady police officer, lady minister, lady principal of a women’s college and what have you. With most of them, I am still in touch. Everything under the sun has been discussed/conversed – from ‘star wars’ to sex life of snails! All within the confines of drawing room.

It is rather disturbing under the circumstances, to read, view and hear in media about struggle between sex – call it abuse, rape – what you want. I am especially unhappy about what we have heard recently.

One concerns the world social forum recently held at Mumbai. The din, buzzle and dust created by the congregation of international delegates in by lanes of Bombay will have shown the licentious crowd at mardi gras in Brazil its place – decibel and otherwise. Two from the herd, one a man and a judge, and another, a female and an Aid activist both from the same country, escaped from their Noah’s Ark to go to the judge’s hotel room just about midnight. Soon the day dawned bringing in its wake a dawning of another sort for the lady – that she was raped. But the judge said it was consensual – modern day cousin to good old corresponding perhaps!

Another delegation at Malaysia, connected with film and TV, had also a similar extra seminar incident. A TV personality of Indian origin went with a fellow (female) delegate to his hotel room. Amidst or after discussion the female realized she was raped and let off a scream, which reverberated down the corridors of justice. Malaysian authorities, known for quick dispensation meted out justice to the victim naturally via punishment to the rapist which was as novel as it was sordid. Whip lash along with progressively mounting penalty in terms of imprisonment and fine for every act that led to the ultimate. The reading was of course salacious like Salome and seven veils.

Why such relationship in unfriendly ambiance or for that matter post coital accusations is something I cannot reconcile to.

Perhaps one (male or female) under such invidious circumstances should foresee consequences and be guarded against eventualities. No, I am not talking about condoms or the pills the day after. Like what the Singapore super market shopper did (male) when he saw in a fellow shopper’s (female of course) low neck bodice more than mere cleavage – a potential ‘harasser’ and alerted the authorities for the female to be bundled and handed over to the police. In this game there is more in it than meet the eyes – offence is the best form of defense – epithets perhaps will epitomize what I want to say.

By way of conclusion, I once again acknowledge my friendship I have had with my women, but for whom the world will not have been the same. Yes, indeed I am a female friendly fella which is quite a different kettle of fish from a womanizer.

I have plans to send valentine cards to all these women friends of mine, duly countersigned by my wife, lest there be problems with spouses concerned, not excluding mine.

Share a romantic moment with her lover’s can be done anytime. But no denying, February is a special month to express their affection. Especially if it were not for Valentine’s Day which falls every 14th of this month?

Give each other gifts to be one tradition that often do the couples in love. But maybe there are still many who do not understand what and how should it be given a special gift. Patti Stanger, professor of romance and famous matchmaker who starred in the reality show “Millionaire Matchmaker”, gives tips on dos and Don’ts when buying Valentine gifts for men and women. What are they?

A. Gifts for Women
Patti said, the best gifts for women is jewelry. Do not rush to assume because a woman being matrealistis, but gold, diamonds and other jewelry forms (not imitation) showed concern, compassion and love. That is, love has made a lot more willing to spend money for her lover. If it is still in early stages of dating, just buy earrings / studs. For a longer relationship may provide a bracelet or necklace. If you will buy her engagement ring.

If the budget is limited, something beautiful to put in a handbag can be a pretty sweet gift. For example, a tiny mirror that has a beautiful decoration, girlie coin purse or a set of manicure tools are packed with sweet and exclusive. Flowers, chocolates or sweets is a common but still acceptable. Do not forget to tuck homemade cards that mention things fun and romantic.

2. Gifts for Men
Men generally prefer good quality watches. But, again, if your finances are limited, had given him a pen or something elegant and beautiful that he could always take it. Never buy socks or shoes, whatever expensive price because he does not necessarily need new socks let alone shoes. Every person has a special taste for fashion choices, so for the affairs of shoes, clothing or socks should submit themselves to him.

3. Gift ‘Forbidden’ on Valentine’s Day
Patti said Teddy Bear with initials or name of each partner is the worst. The prize was judged to be too childish. Do not also just give the greeting card because it does not show you are serious about providing something special for the lovers.

“Sorry, what you can not spend a little money or a flower? There is no excuse for not spending a dime.

4. The money should be allocated for Valentine Gift
Of course it depends on your income. For example, if you are paying hundreds of millions of dollars, allocate tens of millions. When tens of millions of monthly income, use a few million. For the salaried millions, simply remove a few hundred thousand.

“If you were in college, a mediocre salary, or been fired, to be creative. Go picnic on the beach, to the hills or the beautiful garden can be attractive options,” said Patti.

Want to know more tips from this 50-year-old woman? Counsels Patti memakcomblangi romance and action on Millionaire Matchmaker millionaires can be seen every Thursday at 21:55 pm on Sony Entertainment Television channel.

Five Reasons Not Always Fun Valentine's Day.

Joy and love has always described the Valentine’s Day. But it was not always this fun day of love. Why? There are five reasons for Valentine’s day it can be a frustrating, as quoted from She Knows. These five things can happen when you think much about the celebration of Valentine’s Day or expect something in excess of a couple days ‘love’ this.

A. Pressure
Some friends can be a problem for you in today. If the lover gives you a very common gift like a rose or heart-shaped chocolates, most likely your friends will tease you by saying lover too old or childish. Meanwhile, if you get a special gift, it is not likely they would comment that there is hidden by your lover. Moreover, if the couple give you anything, then your friend would probably say that your relationship does not have a clear purpose.

2. Alone at Home
For singles, Valentine could mean home alone. Sometimes you will pretend to have a schedule of dates just to avoid going out with friends who are single women and wasted in the celebration of freedom.

3. Become fat
Single or not, Valentine is a day that makes you unhealthy. At the mall, shopping malls to supermarkets would definitely give you a variety of special offers for the price of chocolate or cake on Valentine’s Day. Various types of chocolate were on display and can be tempting you to eat it. Not to mention the many friends who received chocolates from your lover or friend, and share the chocolate in the office with the excuse, ’sharing in the day of love’. Who is the woman who could not resist the delicious chocolate? Without realizing it, you were already eating chocolate into pieces and eventually increase the number of calories in the body.

4. Listening Romantic Story of Friends
When Valentine, would be a lot of romantic stories you hear from friends who already has a girlfriend. Whether it’s a romantic date, special gifts or their engagement in this special day. As a single, you have to have to pretend to be interested to listen to their stories, but probably in the liver was boring.

5. Romantic Music Everywhere
And music-themed romantic song might be fun to hear. But a week before Valentine’s Day, usually every public place do not want to miss playing music-themed love ballad lilting. As a result, your ears will feel bored with the many love-themed songs.

The Top Five gifts women received from their men..

We can all admit that Valentine’s Day is a women’s holiday probably originating from the “Hallmark” and “Hershey” conference room. None the less it has become the one day out of the year that you can show your one true love how much you really do care. Hey, you might even get lucky! The early poles are in for 2012 and the most popular gifts women received this year are in..

Coming in at number 5 is a promise ring. Now this is very important because you must be careful when giving AND when receiving a promise ring. When giving be careful to hide the box as well as you can and when receiving when you see the box for the first time whether you are snooping or when he gives it to you do NOT worry about an early proposal. Have faith in your man! But all kidding aside this is a great way to show her you love her with just taking a small step in your relationship.

It is a complete shock to me that sexy lingerie has come in at number 4. Men, I am surprised that this is not number 1! Good news is though that the lingerie that was bought has been on the classy caliber and not of the sleazy.

Sitting in the middle or our top five comfortably at number 3 is the classic “heart pendent.” It is a tough economy out there and unfortunately we need to watch our budget all year round so the heart pendent can be the way to go. They come in many different styles, sizes and most important prices.

I think that number 1 and number 2 seem to be one gift. Technically they are 2 but it’s my article so I am merging them and call it “number owo”. Never and I mean NEVER can a man go wrong with a box of chocolates and red roses! The ultimate gift on Valentine’s Day!

Love, Peace, Happiness Everyone!
