It’s unfortunately very easy to get so caught up in life and routine that you forget to show affection to those most important to you. This trend starts honestly enough but quickly you realize that years have gone by.

If your relationship has become stale or if you tend to take your friends for granted, here are some ways to show your love for those around you. As you consider these, some of you may find that the time is not the issue; it’s the technique and act of verbalizing your feelings.
Therefore, go in knowing that you can accomplish these without saying a word. As most of us know, actions can speak louder than words…

Leave Notes (in Unusual Places)
Perhaps life has become so busy that you feel like your schedule rarely coincides with that of your partner or kids. How about leaving them a note somewhere unexpected? You’ve probably all heard of kids having little notes from their mom’s in their lunch bags – that’s one place to start, but how about a note by the kettle, in the fridge, on the pillow, on the computer screen…? This can become a bit of a game as you compete to leave a note in the most unusual places!

Hug Someone
Physical gestures mean a huge amount, and a hug can be just what a loved one needs to put a big smile on their face. Whether it’s snuggling up on the sofa with your partner or giving your kids a goodnight hug, being held and warmed by another person is a perfect way to feel loved.

Write A Poem
A time-honored way to say “I love you” is to write a poem. You don’t have to be Shakespeare – look for sincere, original ways to tell someone that you love them. Try not to fall back on hackneyed phrases about their beautiful blue eyes or their rosy red lips; write about something that’s meaningful to you, perhaps that dimple on their chin, or the way they laugh at your jokes.

Give An Unexpected Gift
I’m sure you give your loved ones gifts on their birthday, at Christmas, and on special occasions like Valentine’s day. But how about bringing a gift completely at random? An unexpected present is a moment of pure joy for the recipient and the giver, and it needn’t be anything expensive. A few of their favorite chocolates, a small bunch of flowers, a book which you know they’ll enjoy … for a few dollars, you have the perfect way to say “I love you”.

Do The Chores (Without Being Asked)
For many people, another extremely welcomed gift is someone else doing the chores! If it’s your partner who usually cleans the kitchen, why not do it and surprise him/her? If you normally have to be nagged to vacuum, get it done without being asked. Finding little ways to make someone else’s day smoother lets them know how much they mean to you.

Hold Hands
Like hugging, holding hands is something that we often neglect to do when a relationship becomes cozy and familiar. Try taking your partner’s hand when walking down the street, or hold their hands across a table in a restaurant. Being in contact physically helps you feel closer emotionally. This is especially important if you need to talk through a difficult issue or problem. Holding hands can also be a visible demonstration of support if your partner is upset or feeling down.

Make A Special Meal
If Friday nights usually mean ordering takeout, why not offer to cook for a change? Make a special meal for your partner (you don’t need an excuse for this – it doesn’t have to be Valentine’s day or an anniversary!) Include their favorite foods, take a few minutes to set the table, to light candles and put music on, and your usual forgettable evening slumped on the sofa can become a night to remember…

Dress Up
In the early stages of a relationship, you probably made the effort to look your best. Of course it’s nice to get to the point where you can lounge around in your jammies or your over sized, hole-ridden t-shirt… but occasionally getting dressed up can rekindle that early excitement in the relationship. Why not go out to a “swankier” restaurant than usual (it doesn’t have to be much more expensive), or just get dressed up in your party clothes for a special meal for two at home?

Give a Foot/Shoulder Rub
Modern life is stressful and many of us have aches and pains caused by tense muscles. A shoulder rub, back rub or foot rub is a wonderful way to tell your partner “I love you”. It demonstrates that their physical well being and comfort is important to you, and it’s also a great way to reinforce physical and emotional closeness.

Listen to Them
It’s easy to talk over people or to tune out most of what they’re saying whilst reading the newspaper or chatting online with friends. Listen actively to your partner – when they want to talk, put down what you’re doing, and focus all your attention on them. Listen for what they don’t say; unvoiced concerns or worries, or hints at what they’d really like. Nod and make eye-contact to show that you’re paying attention.

An exploration and opinion of mothers day and similar holidays.

Is mother’s day just another holiday? No, it is made like valentines day and fathers day to respect a single individual. On days like this revenues spike because people feel inclined to spend money that is quite unnecessary! I spent some money but not on the general flowers and/or chocolate no this stuff is too common. I bought some spray paint and my mother was right there with me she didn’t know what I was gonna do with it. Anyhow I was able to get some graffiti work up on the back of our old shed (she knew I was doing that but was ignorant to the sentiment that was going to go into it) and I think it came out nice! This was my first big piece and I thought that only made it more special.

So the message here is be creative and really put thought into gifts don’t blow money it IS the thought that counts!

Great tips on how to meaningfully celebrate Valentines Day for taken and single individuals.

What goes our mind when we see the date February 14? Romance, couples celebrating, dating a person, strawberries and champagne? Don’t we all need love in our lives? Without love, this world will not be a better place to live in, that is why Valentines day was set, the day where we celebrate love.

We can all express love on this special day, single or taken, there are a lot of ways to celebrate the day of hearts. If you have not revealed your true feelings for somebody yet, this is the right time to do it, be it with giving gifts such as flowers and chocolates or treating a person to any romantic place you can think of. A love that is just starting to grow is the time where ones feelings are overflowing with happiness, butterflies in stomach are present, and one can’t get his or her eyes off of the significant other. It is like planting a seed and taking care of the plant, how you take care of the plant is what you will get in the future. If you do not give enough sunlight and water, the result will be disappointing or it will end up wilting the plant. Love is something that we need to take care of in order for it to not disappear overtime.

Couples should also renew and refresh their feelings by celebrating this event. Being creative on how to show emotions, planning things out and surprising a loved one. For people who are in love, it will be easier for them to express their feelings as they are overflowing with passion. If you have tried almost all of the usual Valentines day gestures then why not use this occasion to do something with your significant other like mountain hiking, rock climbing, fishing, swimming in a lake, baking a cake, cooking a meal etcetera. Activities that require teamwork to further strengthen a partnership while having fun doing a task together.

Some also do not need a partner when it comes to celebrating Valentines day. Single people can also enjoy this occasion by spreading love with their families, friends, the less fortunate, animals, and the environment. If you care about the ecosystem, then do something to express your love for it. Be it by feeding the hungry, planting more trees, adopting a pet, or extending love to your family and closest friends by doing something special. You can also celebrate Valentines day by loving yourself. Pampering ones body and taking care of it is essential in feeling good from the inside and looking good from the outside.

Valentines day is not just for couples, it’s for people from all walks of life, it’s about love and sharing love to the world. We also do not need to wait for Valentines day to happen just to show our emotions to others, people should constantly spread love to further make this world as amazing as it is.

A wife is worried why her husband seemed to have lost interest in her.

She therefore sought the advice of a friend who told her to level up her dealing with her husband. She should surprise him everyday with something to tickle his imagination. Now the woman in dilemma used to be one of the prettiest girls in town. She was even the band majorette for many years at a private school. Everybody thought she was very beautiful until she got married and had children. The once-beautiful lady has transformed into a 180-pounder and that’s when she started to feel that she was no longer getting her husband’s attention anymore. So following the advice of her best friend, she decided to surprise him on a Valentine’s Day. The husband would usually come home at around 7 in the evening, so she prepared everything to give him the surprise of his life. She bought a red negligee which revealed everything at first glance. Then she bought a dimmer, a lamp actually and made sure her husband’s favorite wine sat on the table as well. When she heard his car pull in the garage, she dimmed the light, played a very romantic music, and spread herself on the bed wearing the very sexy negligee she had earlier purchased. She was sporting what she thought was her most magnetic smile. The door opened and she saw the surprised expression on her husband’s face when he found the room in dimlights and everything. Then when his eyes landed on the glowing woman on the bed, the unexpected happened. It was the wife who ended up being surprised when her husband simply commented after assessing everything, “What’s happening to you? You look like a whale!” Well.

In the context of Islam, the tradition of Valentine's clearly not there, especially if the ground is essentially like the above explanation. And what about the words "to be my valentine". These words addressed to Nimrod and Lupercus, a Roman god.

In the context of Islam, the tradition of Valentine’s clearly not there, especially if the ground is essentially like the above explanation. And what about the words “to be my valentine”. These words addressed to Nimrod and Lupercus, a Roman god. Then we realize it or not, or write Ken Sweiger-if we ask people to be, to be my Valentine, that means double the Lord (as asked to be the Almighty) and turn on the culture of the worship of idols. The symbol of Cupid (meaning: the desire), winged baby with an arrow is the son of Nimrod the hunter god of the Sun. Called the god of Love, because he hunted her shapely so even he committed adultery with her own mother.

Given that this valentine problem is not merely cultural, but also related to the Aqeedah matters for Muslims celebrating religious rituals and other religious holidays HARAM law. And valentine day is one in which it is a day that studded the symbols of idolatry would bring only to roads that are not blessed by Allah SWT. Naudzubillah min forbid …..

Islam explicitly states that religious matters can not be mixed confused with other religious affairs. Islam is Islam and nothing else. Because the truth of Islam is not just belong to another religion. Let the affairs of other religions, carried out by the person concerned, and we run in accordance with the teaching of our religion, Islam. The line is absolutely necessary for Muslims, in accordance

From the above it is clear what exactly the purpose of Valentine’s day, is nothing but an attempt to undermine the morality of the people of Islam and the values are fine aqeedah of Muslims. According to KH. Zainuddin MZ There is no other solution except to destroy the Muslims destroy morale-read the generation of Muslims; boy / girl-Islam. For simple logic can be explained that they (the disbelievers) will not damage or the like to the people of Islam are old / old, because for them to lose if it is done because of old age will be exhausted in a short time, but if done on the generation younger then the strength of Islam will slowly destroyed .. wallahu knows best …

Therefore my brothers and sisters, realize, remember Allah. Satan will never cease to call upon baatil so that you all follow suit.

Actually, in Islam, displays of affection are not necessarily the date of 14 February. Islam strongly emphasizes compassion at all times. The Prophet said: “you will not go to heaven so that the faithful believe and when to say so much in love. Will you show me something if you do will cause the love of you? Ie scatter greeting among you “.

Islam in commemorating the affection not only once a year but suggest it, practice it, and spread the love all the time … the term, just everyday lah.

The question is ..?

Why the expression of Love (In the form Brown / Flowers / All Others) was given to a Friend (boyfriend / Love) You, Would not we love the most there Surrounding Ourselves, father, mother, brother, sister?? Why We Care To Other People More ..? While they WE FORGET ..

This piece is written as a response to Valentine’s Day, as well as to the expectation of society and women in general that men should do this and that.

Chivalry, consists of 3 aspects. One. Duty to fellow countrymen—mercy, courage, valor, fairness, protection of the weak and the poor. Two. Duty to God—faithful to God, protecting the innocent, being faithful to the church, being the champion of good against evil, being generous and obeying God above the feudal lord. Three. Duty to women—gentleness and graciousness to all women.

I think modern society has too narrowly classified chivalry as simply opening doors and carrying bags. There’s so much more that the original meaning inferred. Guys, let’s take this year to be the start of the transformation of manhood, because that’s what real men do.

Politics and love.

Some years ago, there was a Congress minister in Maharashtra, destined for greater heights nationally, who was caught out with a famous Bollywood actress in a hotel room in Bombay.

He was a great rival to the then chief minister and the CM mounted a raid by the Economic Offences wing of the Enforcement Directorate on that particular hotel just that evening, after closing time for government offices. The hotel management was blown out of its mind – they had paid all their taxes and went blue in the face wondering why instead of wanting to look at their books, the inspectors were peeking into every room at the hotel, instead.

Turned out that the CM had had privileged information about his rival and had planned the raid accordingly to expose the man to the media. Fortunately for the minister, it was the era before 24×7 television but still some journalists managed to catch him, well, with his pants down.

But what distinguished this expose from other sleaze acts happening today is that the man offered no excuses for his misdemeanour. All that he would say in his defence was a rather wry, “Well, at least you cannot accuse me of having bad taste!’’

The trouble-making reporters, not satisfied with that tame end to an otherwise titillating story, then rushed to the actress’s husband. She was a particularly beautiful woman and everybody thought her husband would be awfully jealous. But he took it on the chin. It was later we learnt that the two had what is called an “open marriage’’ and expected to hear about each other’s transgressions through such means from time to time.

The media then tried to make mischief with the minister’s wife. She was rather shy but her response was still very revealing. “Every girl in our community is brought up to expect something like this. We all know, when we get married, that our husbands will stray. lt goes against their machismo (mardangi) not to have a girlfriend or two through marriage. But these relationships never end in anything. We don’t care where they get their appetizers, so long as they come home for dinner each night!’’

I must say the man has lived happily ever after. His children have grown up just fine without any visible trauma. I ran into his wife recently – I noticed she was dripping diamonds from head to toe. I suddenly realised what she had meant when she said women like her do not mind, so long as their husbands come home to dinner.

But such acceptance of the realities of life, I notice, are par for the course in the Congress. For example, everyone in the party knew why their efforts with persuading Swami Ramdev Baba not to go on fast at the Ramlila Grounds in New Delhi in May last year had failed so miserably – the man (or rather top politician) they had depended upon to talk Ramdev Baba out of the campaign could only make a half-hearted attempt at changing the yoga guru’s mind for Ramdev Baba was allegedly keeping him replenished with an ample supply of aphrodisiacs. Which also tells me why he thought the Congress would be unable to take any action against him — for these supplies were crucial to this leader’s fun and games.

Clearly, the BJP which talks so much of shuchita in public life, has a holier than thou attitude, says women not covering themselves up like others in burquas are inviting rape (which is a very orthodox mullah-like position) and beats up young girls out for a drink in pubs with their boyfriends or in parks on Valentine’s Day, does not practice what it preaches. And it does not even know where and when to quit (nor does the minister from the JD (U) in Bihar caught dancing with bar girls, by the way).

I was more amused than shocked at Karnataka minister Laxman Savadi’s bizarre explanation that the pornographic clip that he was watching on a cell phone in the Karnataka Assembly earlier this week was not really a porn clip but that of a woman being gang-raped after a rave party. And that he was watching it to “educate’’ himself about how such things happen after such parties.

The man, in his great wisdom, did not even realise that it is a worse reflection of his character, that he was getting cheap thrills out of a gang rape – it would have been a shade better had he admitted to just watching a porn film, for according to the BJP’s national leaders wouldn’t men, after all, be men?

And could these three ministers have not waited/ resisted until they were safely ensconced in the relative anonymity of their bedrooms, far from the eyes of prying television cameras? It is now clear from the statements of the cameraman who caught the ministers on tape that he got alerted to something wrong that they might be doing because Savadi frequently and furtively kept looking up at the cameras. Which means he knew the risk but still, well, risked exposure.

I am very glad that the mask has been ripped off the face of these saffron moral police by none other than themselves and even gladder that the expose has come just ahead of Valentine’s day which millions of youngsters might want to once again celebrate in cosy twosomes.

Of course, Valentine’s day was not likely to be opposed in my part of the world this year for we are in the midst of civic elections in Bombay and other parts of Maharashtra and neither the Shiv Sena nor the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’s Raj Thackeray will dare risk the voters’ wrath so close to polling day on February 16. To be fair to Raj, he was never against Valentine’s Day celebrations. Soon after splitting from the mother party and striking out on his own he had even chosen to sponsor some ballroom dancing classes for teens and twenties in a bid to win over the votes of the youth.

As for Bal Thakrey, the only reason he chose to oppose Valentine’s day celebrations was because a famous cards and gifts company had turned down the offer to lift the expenses of his then favourite daughter-in-law Smita Thackeray’s shows in aid of her Mukti Foundation in support of AIDS patients.

With the rift in the family, even Uddhav Thackeray, Balasaheb’s son and Smita’s ex-brother-in-law, snorts at the mention of Mukti Foundation and, of course, now the Thackerays have no grouse against all those huge displays of hearts and love-arches outside card and gift shops as they once did.

Bal Thackeray, after all, has always believed in unabashed love. Hadn’t he, after all, advised the BJP’s Gopinath Munde, when the latter was struggling to cover up his own liaison with the beautiful tamasha dancer Barkha Gopinath Patil (so registered in a house allotted to her by Munde when he was deputy Chief Minister),”we lovers don’t fear others”.

Welcome to the month of affection…February. Right now of the year, many people imagine “Valentine’s Day,” flowers, chocolates, and cuddling with that significant other. But there is another form of love we could choose celebrate. CCNA Exam Questions It is the form of love that many people don’t talk about, and maybe even take into consideration, yet it is one of the most important kind of loves we are going to ever have. Self love.

How you do (or don’t) love your own self is reflected in every single division of your life – out of your relationships, for a finances, to your work. Every success. Every failure. Every thought, feeling, and action.

When you approach life not liking what and which team you see in the mirror each morning, it affects whatever you do, that which you say, how you feel, and ultimately your identity. When you approach life liking (even loving) what and who you see inside the mirror every day, that also affects you.

Unfortunately, it seems better to give attention to might know about Do not like about ourselves, whether physical attributes or characteristics. And society that values “perfection” (whatever Which is) and holds to strict standards of physical beauty does not help matters. You should only have to have a look at TV commercials, magazine ads, and virtually just about any advertising to realize whatever you don’t have and what advertisers would have you believing which you will want to become better, more worthy.

But in fact you might be already the top you that you can be. At this time, on this moment. Imagine what life can be like if you believed:

You are the perfect version people.

You have everything else but you should be happy and fulfilled.

You are beautiful the way you’re.

Regardless of what we have been “programmed” to believe about ourselves (by others or world), we all should be:

Happy

Loved

Accepted for who we are

But somewhere in the process, we’re told (or shown) different things. CCNA Exams Through our experiences, what and actions of others, and messages on television, organic beef figure out how to believe unfortunately we cannot matter and we are really not worthy, resulted in thinking and feeling bad about ourselves, which in turn brings about treating ourselves poorly. We very often treat ourselves how you THINK were, as opposed to the way we really are. As well as the vicious loop begins – think bad about self feel bad about self treat self badly…also, since we treat ourselves badly, it can make us think and feel worse about ourselves.

One trap a lot of us fall under wants others to produce us happy, love us, and accept us, especially when we ourselves cannot do that to live in. Just make sure expect others to do for you that which you no longer can do on your own, it’s really a dangerous trap. Looking outside yourself for validation sends a message that the opinion, your beliefs, along with your feelings don’t count. When in reality, they are the only ones which do.

Being loved doesn’t require other people besides you.

Some could have you believing love is conditional, understanding that inside your have love shall be loved by another. CCNA Simulator In case you never love yourself, how on the planet is it possible to expect someone else to adore you?

Here’s some tips to get back to loving yourself:

Do the top FRIEND test.

Think about what love way to you.

Make a summary of all the stuff that will make you feel loved.

Pick another thing on your “things that produce me feel loved” list on a daily basis to make it happen.

“And if you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you from the path of Allah. They are nothing but fancy, and they are nothing but a lie (against Allah) “(Surat Al-An am: 116)

Before the coming of “Valentines Day” Valentine’s Day or anniversary (VD) of 2012, certain food products, such as brown, packed with typical pink colored booths sold in supermarkets, malls, and mini market. Similarly, various flowers, like roses, ready to be offered to young people who want to celebrate it in some places. Roses are synonymous with VD.

Look at Belong Flower Market, West Jakarta. A few weeks before the arrival of VD, the sale of flowers, especially roses, sold like atmosphere ahead of the sale of flowers Id. Extraordinary demand, especially among young people and managers of entertainment venues to welcome VD! In addition to demand soared, prices were pegged up to 300% of a typical day.

While a number of companies, both service providers and other products, also welcome Valentine abuzz with mass media advertising in print, electronic, or on line. It seems like these companies feel “isolated” if not to celebrate Valentine’s Day which falls every year on February 14 that.

Mass media, which some experts Mass Communication Studies referred to as agents of capitalism also helped provide justification to celebrate VD. Before the day arrived VD, a number of news and articles down to discuss the preparation of urban Compton bells welcome VD. As if, VD becomes a new trend that must be followed if we do not want to miss time.

To whom it was given chocolate and flowers? Of those who celebrate VD answer is “to loved ones.” People who loved it could mean mother, father, friend, or more specifically to a boyfriend or girlfriend. And this is the designation for a boyfriend who seems to be most dominant.

Bizarre, indeed. In Muslim-majority country here, warning of an event that actually comes from non-Muslim figures, every year is celebrated with fanfare. Each year the celebration of the more massive due to the increase in VD new generation which was originally not familiar with those who have joined together to enjoy the familiar and the agenda.

Origins of Valentine’s Day

Every generation should know the warning and the celebration of this particular kind of VD. Very naive, or language market “stupid”, if they do not know, let alone “do not want to know” about the history and meaning of a warning. If they do not know the history and meaning behind the memorial VD, is like a “frog in a shell”, while they are in the information technology era with easy access to knowledge from various sources.

If they are being “no idea” that means they like handing him a slave civilization and culture from the outside which is contrary to the values he held for this life.

Citing information from various sources, may we know that VD stems from a Christian priest who was martyred (killed) because of the belief that was followed during the Roman Empire under King Claudius II (268-270 AD). During his life Valentines was mentioned as a figure who live life with compassion. That’s why, so he was killed, then his followers to give the title Saint or a saint (a saint).

The death of St. Valentine on February 14 270 M was then celebrated as a religious ritual in some adherents of the Christian religion. Although later in its development, have gradually shifted into the celebration of the warning that is not based on any particular religion. Valentine’s Day then connected also with a banquet feast of affection ancient Romans called “supercilious”.

However, when the rulers and the Romans followed the Christian religion, supercilious party is linked with the sacred ceremonies commemorating the death of St. Valentines as love. This celebration is spreading rapidly and widely in Europe when people were there to link their belief that when love blossomed like a bird was a male and a female on February 14. Plus myth among the European nations that should be the youth in finding a life partner on February 14, growing to commemorate the spirit of the new generation to join.

In Western countries, where the celebration begins VD, celebrations Wikipedia notes, took second place after the celebration of Christmas. The Greeting Card Association in the United States estimates that worldwide approximately one billion valentine cards are sent each year.

Celebration of VD is now growing rapidly, spreading to all corners of the world. The history and meaning of VD as deliberately concealed warning to other young people to embrace the countries that are not Christian. So, in fact in recent years is the death anniversary of St. Valentine is considered a celebration of universal love that is worth. Excellent!

The excesses of Valentine’s Day

It is human compassion. Every man needs love from each other in living their daily lives. Teachings and values of all religions also emphasize the issue. It’s just that if a memorial day of love that has historical roots with the values, beliefs, and ideology, must have certain values and spirit as well. Although, it may not look his form!

True affection, but the packaging is transformed through pop culture can deviate from intrinsic value. For example, the court in this country that has become commonplace, contrary to the true values of Islam. But, it’s courting of young boys who become the scorn even his friends. Courtship as if a man follows the trend of the current marker of modern life. While they are not going out through the aisle to the seat is obsolete and outdated. Good heavens!

Well, to do with Valentine’s Day, the moment it seems like this is eagerly awaited by those familiar with the pop world, those who follow the current hedonistic and materialistic life. Can already imagine some of those who celebrate VD day to spend time with her boyfriend. There still are reasonable, they are not denying that “translate” VD with an activity that actually violate the law of Allah.

Some of them are not yet clear status of husband and wife spent some time sharing “love” with a date in cafes, in bars, and discotheques. Who can guarantee that they do not do anything close to adultery?

By looking at the harm that occurs from the celebration of this VD, would be time preachers and scholars to aggressively remind “unwanted effect” is. Therefore, it could be millions of young couples celebrate VD here without understanding the meaning and history. They follow the tradition and popular culture that is celebrated by most Western nations that notebene non Muslim.

Islam that has led the holy man with the sacred teachings of love, not love being abused. Do not we do not want a generation that easily swept under the guise of a modern lifestyle, but ignorance is a true modern lifestyle. Valentine’s Day well received in the Muslim-majority countries as being put forward are universal values and lifestyle pop. While the original historical background covered up or obscured.
