The Church of the Redentore (the Redeemer) is one of the greatest buildings of the Italian Renaissance. Located in the Dorsoduro sestiere of Venice, on the Giudecca, it was designed by the Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio and contains paintings by Tintoretto and Veronese.
