An examination of how a person needs to daily come to a state of appreciation in order to master their lives. Through a process of acknowledgment, acceptance, acclimation and action one can embrace a state of appreciation. Through training our brains to observe the facts we can minimize its ability to convince us of what could happen and maximize the reality of what has happened.

During a recent visit to physical therapy, I was receiving treatment for a back injury from a car accident and read an article in the Saturday Evening Post by Dr. Tal-Ben Shahar where he stated, “It’s not what you have, it’s what you appreciate.” As I watched all of the other people receiving help for their various injuries I began to meditate on the word appreciate. Here I was receiving treatment for an injury from an accident where I could have been killed, but thankfully, wasn’t. I began to embrace the feelings of appreciation while I witnessed the grimaces and disgust of the others receiving treatment around me (obviously from discomfort and pain). The more I saw looks of frustration on the others, the more I appreciated the fact that I could even witness this. As I proceeded with my exercises, the pain increased but I kept appreciating the fact that I could exercise. It was a choice; despite the pain and the surrounding environment, I chose to be appreciative.

In their book, Ask And It Is Given, Esther and Jerry Hicks outline what they call the Rampage of Appreciation. This is done by directing pleasant thoughts in your mind. In this exercise you become the master of your thoughts by choosing which thoughts to dwell on after you evaluate their relevance to whether they are bettering your condition or not. By choosing constructive and expanding thoughts and repeating the feelings you get from these thoughts, they eventually become beliefs. Use your convictions and beliefs to begin to plan out the course of your life by choosing the right plan to implement your goals. Write out a plan on paper of who, what, where, how, when and why you will accomplish your goals. Feel the feelings you would feel when you have accomplished those goals and be appreciative!

How do we accomplish this? By focusing on the things that feel good. Optical electronics has a term called image retention. It is an electronic burn in on a camera that results from bright light being focused on the CCD (Charged Coupled Device) for extended periods of time. This also occurs when you look at the Sun too long and get brightness exposure to your eyes. You close your eyes and see bright greenish clouds. It is a result of a pathway being carved that accepts that feeling easily and retains it due to burn in. Like gravity, the Law of Attraction works whether you believe it or not. The Law of Attraction delivers thoughts, experiences, people and things that match your practiced or burned in vibrations. If your vibration is one of appreciation, then more things will occur for you to appreciate. If you vibration is one of depreciation, then your life will reflect a decline in the values that you have aspired to and yield you the results that you have held true. Remove yourself from others that aren’t appreciative in order to create an environment that is fertile for creativity and appreciation.

We have all been around people who say all of the right things and yet we feel they are not sincere. Your thoughts guide your feelings and your feelings will guide your thoughts. People who are sensitive to feelings can feel whether someone is genuine enough. Proverbs 23:7 states, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” When someone is sincerely genuine and appreciative, they create an environment in which people feel comfortable and confident with their feelings. They don’t take away from others by generating fear; they add to others by reinforcing faith. They create an atmosphere of appreciation!

Appreciation is defined as a state of thankful recognition; in other words, gratitude for something that has occurred and has bountied favorable results. It is the act of evaluating the quality of things, people, events or circumstances and assigning them value in regards to you. Since this evaluation is in relation to you, it is a judgment. Appreciation depends on a clear perception based on the facts, an evaluation of these facts and a subsequent judgment of these facts that result in your opinion of yourself in relation to your own life.

There are four steps to attain a state of appreciation. These steps happen quickly within our minds when we choose the path to appreciation. The first step is to acknowledge a situation, circumstance, event or the actions of a person as fact. The next step is to accept what has happened as true. The third step is to acclimate yourself to your contribution or non-contribution in the matter or to the circumstances that brought it about. And finally, to act on the situation by giving of yourself and allowing it to be a part of your experience. See the silver lining in the cloud. There is always something to be appreciative of; no matter what circumstances are present.

Appreciation is the most powerful connection between the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of your being. Just like playing the piano or guitar, you can only get better with practice. By practicing appreciation, guidance gets clearer from your inner being. As Dr. Wayne Dyer says, “When you look in the mirror you are not what you are looking at in your reflection, you are what is looking at that reflection.” Through the diligent practice of being in a state of appreciation, you become accustomed to higher vibrations. You will get a twofold result. You will embrace acceptance of what is and recognize resistance to good vibration. As you continue to practice allowance, your momentum will release resistance and you will be in a state of allowing. Desires flow easily into your experience when you expect them to come and allow them to be in your life. This state of allowance comes easily and effortlessly through the diligent practice of meditation. A process where we accept and allow more of the good feelings to come our way. Nothing mystical about it. Like attracts like, pure and simple. Practice appreciation and bask in the positive results!

Our brains seek a delicate balance between rewards and inhibitions. A hedonistic personality seeks pleasure at all costs and an ascetic personality seeks to deny pleasure at all costs through abstinence, or, in the extreme, self-mortification. In the latter the part of our brain known as the Amygdala (ganglion of the limbic system involved in fear and aggression), automatically takes control. It will convince us that something has happened even though it hasn’t. Fear is accepted and its results are definite no matter what reality tells us. How do we free ourselves from this endless loop? By appreciating what has actually happened and not what we perceive could happen. It requires us to be observers of facts and not relayers of opinions. Start by listening to your heart when interacting in your environment. Seek the truth on your own and choose not to believe what others see as the truth without challenging and investigating events, circumstances, people and things.

How do we challenge other’s opinions? By being observant of their body language and not just what they say. Recognizing the tension (positive/pro-action, negative/reaction) in other people’s faces is part of our ability to distinguish the results of our actions. Are we acting appropriately to the circumstances in our environment that will lead to our growth and expansion? How fine tuned is our environmental feedback system? Do we see circumstances, people’s action, events and occurrences as a never ending wheel of depreciation? Or do you see the world as it is and appreciate it for what it is without trying to mold it to what we believe it should be?

Expect the best results in your life. That doesn’t mean you will always get them. It means that you will train your mind to be controlled by the greater You, instead of the lesser you. It means you choose to stop worrying about what you perceive could happen and begin to give thanks for what has happened. The only thing we have in our reach is the present. The past is gone and the future is yet to be. It is our choice to make with each and every breath.

Many people are involved in causes that are attempts to end cruelty and suffering in the world. Sadly many of these same people contribute to the flow of cruelty and suffering because their attempts to put an end to cruelty and suffering affect the lives of those around them negatively. This creates ripple effect that leads to even more cruelty and suffering in the very areas they are trying to stop it in. Find out if you are one of these people and how to be a part of the solution instead of further adding to the problem.

There are many people who make it their goal in life to end cruelty and suffering in one area of life or another. These people become involved in such things as animal or human rights groups. They spend hours trying to educate everyone they can about the cruelty and suffering that exists in the world. At times they offer solutions to end cruelty and suffering. Sadly, many of these well meaning people miss the most important solution of all. That solution is to end the cruelty and suffering they create in their daily lives, or in their attempts to promote their cause, and not just the suffering and cruelty that they are trying to end in whatever their pet project is.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/mjphoto/120804319/

These people add to cruelty and suffering in the world by not extending their attempts to end cruelty and suffering to actually getting rid of the cruelty and suffering they are causing by their myopic zeal for one cause or a few causes. Cruelty and suffering are vibrations that build and mutate. If one’s commitment to one cause causes suffering in the lives of those around them then that vibration eventually affects the cause that they actually do care about. If you are overly concerned with something that is happening in another part of the world to the point where you neglect what is happening around you then you are creating cruelty and suffering that then has a ripple effect. In order to begin to bring an end to this ripple effect those wishing to end cruelty and suffering must first start where they are.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/pinksherbet/3212680093/

Starting where you to end cruelty and suffering to many does not seem as glamorous as being involved in an attempt to end cruelty and suffering on a larger scale. Too many people are concerned with larger numbers and forget about the small ways they add to cruelty and suffering in the world on a daily basis. We are all guilty of carelessly creating cruelty and suffering in the lives of those around us. Some are guilty of intentionally being cruel and creating suffering in the lives of those around them. When cruelty and suffering is caused because of an attempt to end cruelty and suffering in some other area of the world or life it is needless. You can not begin to end cruelty and suffering in other areas of life, or the world, until you start to end it where you are.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeremygetscash/2912127886/

In order to begin to end cruelty and suffering a person must start to realize that cruelty and suffering have broader meanings. Cruelty can mean things that are considered small actions in comparison to chickens battery cages or the torture of political prisoners. Cruelty also includes those small actions unwarranted of sarcasm and rudeness. Those times when the needs of another are not considered when they could be. It most definitely includes overlooking the current state of mind of a person you are preaching your anti-cruelty message to. Suffering comes into play when these oversights or intentions take place continuously over a long period of time. These small actions, that seem to be trivial in and of themselves, build over time and the vibrations caused by them eventually end up as one of these other more severe forms of cruelty or suffering that manifests in the world.

Ways to Start Ending Cruelty and Suffering Where You Are

1.Treat others how they would like to be treated. This is going beyond treating others how you would like to be treated for a good reason. That reason is that in order to end the vibrations of cruelty and suffering one must begin the consider the needs and desires of others. It is really as simple as some people like coffee and some people like tea. If you take the attitude that you like coffee so therefore you give a tea drinker coffee you are ignoring what they desire or their need. This does not mean if you like coffee you must drink tea because this other person likes tea. Understanding needs to be reciprocal. Does coffee and tea analogy seem trivial to you? Intentionally ignoring the likes of another in this respect could have a chain reaction that eventually ends up turning into a person in some other part of the world being hooked up to a car battery as a means of torture. This is the way things work. Nothing in this world is independent of the whole.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/editor/113777281/

2.Always look for the good in others and then actively express appreciation for that good. Building others up helps to decrease the flow of cruelty and suffering in the world dramatically. It feels good to be built up and appreciated. When these good feelings are present the actions that create cruelty and suffering are less likely to manifest.

3.Avoid being sarcastic or rude to others needlessly. Many times people in an attempt at being humorous will, say things, or respond to others in ways, that are sarcastic. The damage that this does is not worth the small joke that was intended. Other times people will be intentionally rude to others in a feeble attempt to boost their own fragile self-esteems. Sometimes people will be rude to those who do not understand or want to hear their anti-cruelty message. Sarcasm and rudeness are also things that contribute to the ripple effect of cruelty and suffering in the world. Also, if you appear sarcastic or rude in your message it will turn others away from it.

4.In intimate settings get off the soap box and lead by example. For example, if you are with friends or family members that buy eggs produced by battery hens do not give them a long winded lecture about cruelty in the poultry industry. It will simply go in one ear and out the other or cause a fight that will add to the ripple effect of cruelty. It is better to just give them some eggs from free range chickens or some tasty treat that you made with an egg substitute. If they like the alternative better they will ask you about it. Everyone that I have given free range chicken eggs to has come back for more. You can apply leading by example to almost anything. If you sponsor a child, simply put that child’s photo where others can see it. If they ask who that child is then tell them. It is much better to do that then to start lecturing them about a purchase they made that was, in your opinion, needless when so many are suffering in the world.

5.Know when to talk about the causes you are into and when not to. There are many times when talking about cruelty and suffering simply creates more cruelty and suffering. If someone is overworked and in need of a break do not ruin that break by preaching to them. If you are having a family get together do not ruin it by bringing up issues of cruelty and suffering in other areas. If you are out at a restaurant do not make comments to the person at the next table about what they ordered that you do not agree with because it causes cruelty or suffering. The best rule of thumb here is if you do not know the emotional state of another then do not do anything that would further rain on their parade if they are in a bad way emotionally. This includes the protesting of restaurants. It does no good and just adds to the ripple effect of cruelty. If it is a situation like a family get together then your only concern should be ensuring that everyone has a great and loving time. Allow others the refreshment of mind, body, and spirit that everyone needs from time to time.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/bulent/361546958/

6.Do not destroy the property of others to promote your cause. For example, if you go out and spray paint a fur coat that someone is wearing many of them will replace that fur coat with another. If you spray their replacement fur coat they will most likely go out and buy another. More minks used to make those additional fur coats. The person who was sprayed will feel as if they were assaulted and they will then have actions that will add to the ripple effect of cruelty. In some instances this ripple effect may lead to suffering and cruelty happening in another part of the world, such as the mistreatment of workers in a Third World Sweatshop. Everything is connected.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/24443965@N08/2372617968/

7.Never simulate cruelty or suffering as an educational tool to those who are weak emotionally. If you do not know how to tell if someone is weak emotionally, and would be affected negatively, stay away from this type of action. Children are automatically off limits for this type of experience. Simulations of cruelty and suffering can be perceived by the mind as actual cruelty and suffering and thus quickly add to the ripple effect that creates even more of the same. There a very few times when this is an appropriate activity or educational tool.

If your actions in your daily life are not attempts to build up and add to the happiness those around you, and you preach an anti-cruelty or anti-suffering message for some other area of life, then your efforts will fail as a result of the negative vibrations that you allow to be created. Eventually those negative ripples will affect the cause that you care about, even if it is in another part of the world. To end cruelty and suffering you must start where you are now.

An altered state of consciousness that creates...

Well I have my version of describing what it is for me, although there is a lot of information on the web regarding its true meaning, including that it is an altered state of consciousness which to some extent is true, although it could be described as a deep relaxing process where your mind is still.

I do not believe or disbelieve all the information I have researched or gathered over the years about trance and its many forms, I look at them all from an observational point of view, some information I may find more interesting than others but I believe that all information is neither correct or incorrect it just is. Who is anyone to judge such information!

So when I began working with energy, which has over the years been through many forms, some of which I shall explain here today for you, it was a very alien experience and not one that I felt totally comfortable with at first.

As I began trusting the energies which at first I used in the form of a “healing” modality through which I became the facilitator not the healer, the energies with which I was working grew and expanded beyond anything I could have ever imagined would take place.

Over a period of 5 years I was able to relax into the energies which allowed then the vibration to heighten and offered a gateway for spirit energies to work through me, it all became natural and flowed through me so gently but amazingly powerful, the recipients of this energy would benefit in ways again which I would never have believed unless I had seen it for myself or heard the feedback.

So where I am now with these energies is somewhere that I could never have imagined the energies would have taken me over the years which I have been of service.

I have used the energies over the years mainly as I said in a “healing” format although recently they are on the “increase” again and are shifting, although at the moment I am unclear of how these energies will be fully utilised I am sure they are going to be profound.

So for the healing use, there are two energies which I channel through me, and they are magnetic energies which come up through my feet and into the recipient, and the other are God’s energies which come through my crown chakra. I am able to sit in a fairly mild to medium trance state for about 1.5 hours at a time.

When I work with the magnetic energies, it is hard work for me or at least can be if I do not relax enough, the energy makes your body feel like lead and if there is anything heavier than that is what it feels like. Again if I am not 100% relaxed it can become quiet painful as I channel the energy through my human system and into the recipient who only feels 500% completely relaxed on every level.

Magnetic energy is a very strong energy to work with but does bring with it some amazing results in terms of healing.

The other energy is a lot softer to channel although the “power” of healing is not any less in terms of outcome, there is completely different feeling and sensation when working with this energy, it tends to be tingly or buzzing as it flows through me, and it can range from boiling hot to freezing cold depending on where the energies are coming from.

I have been known to work with energies outside of our universe as people have reported seeing a shift in my appearances.

Most of the time, I am able to have an overshadowing take place with either of the energies with which I work.

I have been working for about 5 years now on blending those two energies together which I am told would allow phenomena to take place, although I am not fully awakened to the use of these energies, I know that I am being prepared for that.

I would love to be of service for evidential purposes in the field of phenomena. I have also had the opportunity to use these energies in the use of trance speaking.

This is the ability to allow the spirit to use your voice box to communicate through. Again this is something which appeared to come natural to me.

That work was undertake and experimented with at The Arthur Findlay College at Stansted. They have an amazing place where training takes place in the UK and the teachers are profound. Definitely worth a visit or two if you are training in the varying areas of energy.

So what next, well I know that I am currently having a huge shift in energies and have recently be overshadowed by another life source which was interesting especially for those watching as my cheeks began to change shape and turned a beautiful amber colour. The only thing when doing any form of trance work is that I never get to see or hear what is going on. Shame really.

There is so much more which I could write about especially on the frequency and vibration of the energy which is required to perform trance.

Trance should never be done on your own especially if you are sitting for spirit in full state trance, and this could be dangerous or so it is said.

I also know that it is said to be illegal for anyone to perform trance on stage or in public demonstrations, it is also difficult to get insurance to do trance work. So being experiential in this area of work appears to be the best way to bring the evidence through.

So good luck with all that you may do, if you have any questions please get in touch I would love to hear about your experiences or answer your questions if I am able to.

Angel Blessings forever and always

In order to improve your health you need good karma

All your thoughts and emotions have an important impact on your immune system. Negative thoughts and emotions are very noxious and decrease the resistance toward the diseases. Quite the opposite, all your positive attitudes are beneficent because they strengthen the immune system so if you are ill you will recover faster. Whenever you manage to express only positive feelings you are able to prolong your health. The following tips improve both your health and karma.

It is very important to know that love has healing effects, thus if you really want to be well again project love towards everybody. The better you do it the sooner you experience improvements in your health.

Your capacity to heal depends on the way you are able to forgive those who trespassed you. If you feel hate for them you undermine your immune system. Change your attitude whenever you want to blame somebody. Never let the hate to control you. Have the power to forgive the others in order to be well again. You will be tempted to think of how bad some people treated you, but the lamentation will steal positive energies thus your chances to heal will be diminished.

If you want that the universe have mercy upon you, then you have to be very merciful to everybody. According to the laws of karma if you want the best treatment you should provide the best treatment to your neighbours. When you are ill the universe rewards your generosity by healing you.

You have to learn also to forgive yourself. Learn from the mistakes that you made and never do them again. Confess what you did to somebody you really trust and that always helps.

Never curse because the effects of the curse sooner or later will come back to you. The price you have to pay for the curses is always very high so it is not forth doing it.

If you want to strengthen your immune system maintain undisturbed your calm. The better you control yourself the more chances you have to heal.

Be grateful to all those who are very generous to you. Whenever you are ungrateful you gain bad karma that deeply affects your entire destiny, including your health.

One of the best ways to improve your karma is by smiling and laughing. The more you smile and laugh the healthier you are. Have the courage to smile even when you are in the most difficult situations and never take anything personal. By doing this you do not let your health being destroyed by negative feelings and thoughts.
