vi-o-let [ vielet]
1. flowering plant: a low-growing plant.
2. plant resembling violet: a plant that looks like a violet but is not necessarily related to it, e.g. an African violet
3. purplish blue color: a deep purplish blue color.

Violet

In Autumn days pron ed in desolate yet faded ways;

On the very edge of deception its the vast awakening!

In ardent cloves of a selected featured way;

Violet kept her sanity where as others lost in mentality,

Having swept off vile affections that some had led to a final promise;

through a thread of scorn a natural hero is born,

In direct correlation to that of a promise;

Through a thread of scorn a hero is soon born.

As a young child she grew into a most lovely women in waiting;

The thought of laughter persisted within,

In shadows pron ed to inner torn desolation in flight!

With flight of fancy a cold chill in air;

At the seventh hour of ill repute,

A clogged filter of desperation sets in violet maybe blue?

Still what is the real trouble with you,

Violet was fascinated in the story book too;

Yet who knew the price that was even payed.

Through a figment of imagination lost in time;

Violet swayed in grievance payed;

In ardent features and dismay.

With circumstantial evidence inside;

We have every right to run away and hide.

In vile affection in torn rhetoric demise;

Does this analogy come at any big enough surprise?

Violet has chosen the true essence within;

The paradox of love to shun that was in sin.

The lessons that we safely learn as we travel this sod.

Never to be attempted to be swept underneath the rug.

Through brandished souls sore vexed below;

In ambiance with languished premonition,

With vast rhetoric response to gather.

Violet pose in restitution.

Colour: connotations, symbolism and origins. Part Two.

Colour: Image via Wikipedia

Colour, or color if you prefer the American spelling, has certain meanings to us in the West. In the rest of the world, ancient and modern, there are different viewpoints. As there were in our own past. To the ancient Greek poet Homer the Mediterranean was a wine-red sea; to us the Mediterranean is a lush turquoise escape. There was no word for blue, of any hue, at that time for Homer to use in describing the sea he lived by.

Red:

In China, red is the symbol of fire, the south and the positivity of courage, loyalty, honour, success, fortune, fertility, happiness, passion, and summer. Red is used in weddings and to wrap monetary gifts. Obituaries are written in red and to write someone’s name in red ink means they are “dead” to you.

In Japan red is the hue of heroism.

In India, red is the colour of brides, for it is the colour of purity, fertility, beauty and the wealth of the goddess Lakshmi.

In parts of Africa, red is the shade of death. The Red Cross uses the colour green in these areas.

Orange:

In India the colour orange, or saffron, represents courage, sacrifice and renunciation of earthly cares. The colour orange/saffron is sacred in Hinduism, Sikhism and Buddhism.

Orange is the historical colour of the Netherlands and is often connected with Protestantism in Ireland.

Yellow:

In Italy a “yellow novel” is a crime story.

In China a “yellow movie” is x-rated. In Imperial China, yellow was the royal colour because it was the most difficult tone for them to obtain. It was used in clothing and buildings. The first emperor was known as the “Yellow Emperor”.

To the ancient Maya, the shade of yellow was connected with the south and the colour’s symbol also meant precious.

Green:

Many Asian languages have no word for green; rather it is part of the terminology for blue or for anything smelly, like in Thai. In Japan, the green traffic light is sometimes still called blue as are leaves and grass.

In China, green is linked with the east, the sunrise, and with life. In ancient China, the husbands of prostitutes wore green scarves.

In Persian poetry, a dark-skinned desirable beauty is described as sabz-gandom-gun (green wheat coloured) or sabz-malih (a green beauty), as green means black or dark.

In Ancient Egypt, green was the colour of resurrection; the god Osiris, who was raised from the dead, is always shown with green skin, representing new life.

In Medieval European literature green was associated with lust and in early English folklore, green is the colour of the devil, the witch and of malevolent fairies. This may stem from the Celtic belief that green was an unlucky colour, heralding death.

Blue:

In Greek myth, the god Zeus made the rain fall when he was sad and made storms when he was angry. Blue was assigned to both rain and sadness.

In some maritime western cultures, when an officer of a ship’s crew was lost at sea, a blue stripe would be painted on the hull and a blue flag would be hoisted upon returning home.

In Germany, “to be blue” is to be drunk.

In Hinduism, the god Krishna has dark blue skin and that is what his name means. Sometimes the gods Ram and Vishnu are also portrayed with blue skin: Vishnu is connected with water and clouds. The destroyer god Shiva is also illustrated in light blue and is called neela kantha, or blue-throated, for having swallowed poison during a battle.

Purple/violet:

In Medieval Europe, there were sumptuary laws governing what fabrics, textures and colours could be worn by the different social groups. Ordinary folk wore green and brown. The nobility wore blues and purples. By this time the “royal purple” was a much bluer shade than the Tyrian purple worn in the past.

In Japan, purple is the colour of death.

In China the correct translation of the name of the Forbidden City is “purple forbidden city”.

Byzantine royalty were born in a purple room, hence “born to the purple”.

In England, shades of purple were worn as the later colours of mourning, after the first year of wearing all black. This was called “secondary mourning” or “half-mourning”.

Brown:

In Japanese the colour brown is called “tea-colour”.

Black:

In parts of the Mediterranean, widows wear black for the rest of their lives. In Greece and Cyprus they are sometimes called “black widows” or “blackbirds”.

In Japan, honour is symbolised by the colour black.

In ancient China black symbolised the north and water.

In English heraldry, black equals darkness, doubt, ignorance, and uncertainty.

To the Maasai tribe in Africa, black is the rain, life and prosperity. This is similar to Native American philosophy.

The ideas of “black magic” and “white magic” come from the murky past of Ancient Egypt. Ancient Egyptians referred to Egypt as Kemet, the black land, because of the life-giving silt washed up by the yearly Nile floods.

White:

In much of Asia (China, India, Vietnam and Korea) and Africa, white is the colour of mourning at funerals, but in Japan, wedding kimonos are often white. Japanese brides wear white to signify their “death” to their families.

In Ancient Egypt, white was also the colour of death.

Grey/gray:

In Scandinavian folklore, grey is linked to fairies and goblins and their garb is usually grey, showing their amoral nature.

In Classical Greek myth, the goddess Athena was said to have grey eyes, glaukós, (owl-like). The comparison to an owl demonstrates her aspect of great wisdom.

In France, “to be grey” is to be drunk.

UFO enthusiasts call aliens, “greys”.

Pink:

June, 1918 Ladies’ Home Journal: “The generally accepted rule is pink for the boys, and blue for the girls. The reason is that pink, being a more decided and stronger color, is more suitable for the boy, while blue, which is more delicate and dainty, is prettier for the girl.” The change of pink for girls and blue for boys occurred in the 1940s.

In Japan, “cherry blossom pink” movies are x-rated. Their other word for pink refers to a peach shade.

Pink became the colour of the British Empire on maps in the 19th century.

A “pink novel” in Spain and Italy is a romance novel.

Colour: connotations, symbolism and origins. Part One.

Colour wheel: Image via Wikipedia

Colour, or color if you prefer the American spelling, has certain meanings to us in the West. Just think of how back in the 80s it was the done thing to wear a red power tie. How about gang colours in American cities? Some will have read on how anthropologist say girls like pink and boys like blue because of latent hunter-gatherer genes. The pink reminds the subconscious of ripe berries once gathered and the blue is the clear open sky of the hunter. In the UK, at least, blue was the colour of women and many older women still wear predominately blue. Pink was the colour of Her Majesty’s Empire on all our maps. My room in university was mint green because the head of maintenance read that green helped students to learn. And every hair colour ad invokes our beliefs about blondes, brunettes and redheads.

Red: lust, passion, fire, sin, guilt, anger, courage, sacrifice, power, virility, fertility, dominance, blood, communism, socialism, Satan, danger, stop

Origin: The word red comes from the Old English word rēad, which has its roots in the Proto-Germanic rauthaz and the Proto-Indo European root reudh-. The word rudhira means red or blood in Sanskrit

Literature: The Red Badge of Courage, The Scarlet Letter, Isaiah 1:18 “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow.”

Phrases: “being caught red-handed”, “red-blooded”, “red-light district”, “in the red” (bankrupt), “seeing red” (irate), “red sky at night, sailor’s/shepherd’s delight; red sky in morning sailors/shepherds take warning”, “red as sin”

Orange: safety, warning, autumn, Protestantism

Origin: The fruit, prior to the introduction of oranges into the English speaking West, this colour was called ġeolurēad (yellow-red).

Yellow: cowardice, infidelity, warmth, sun, summer, happiness, optimism, gold, riches, liberalism, remembrance, caution

Origins: Yellow comes from the Old English geolu, or geolwewhich itself came from the Proto-Germanic word gelwaz.

Music: “The Yellow Submarine” – The Beatles, “Mellow Yellow” – Donovan, “Yellow” – Coldplay

Phrases: “yellow-bellied, lily-livered coward”, “yellow journalism” (sensationalist), “tie a yellow ribbon”

Green: ecology, environmentally friendly, go, envy, money, illness, growth, hope, Islam, spring, nature

Origins: The word green is derived from the Old English verb growan, “to grow” and the associated words grēne, and in its older form, grœni. In other languages we have the West Frisian grien, the Dutch groen, the German grün, and the Danish grøn. All the words have a connection to words for plant life.

Phrases: “green with envy”, “green around the gills” (sick), “green spaces”, “greenback”, “have a green thumb”, “greenwashing” (cover-up of environmental damage), “green” (young, gullible), “greenhorn” (inexperienced)

Blue: boys, peace, conservatism, sadness, ice, winter, sky, Virgin Mary

Origins: Blue has complicated etymological origins. There is the Middle English bleu orblewe, the Old English blāw (blue) and blǣwen (light blue), the Old French bleu, bleve,and blöe, and Frankish or possibly Old High Germa blāo. The source of all these variations is the Proto-Germanic blǣwaz, from the Proto-Indo-European *bhlāw-, *bhlēw- (light-coloured, grey, blue and yellow), from *bhel- (to shine, be light). A Scots term for “blue-grey” is blae, from the Middle English bla (dark blue) which came from the Old Norse blār). The English word bleemeaning “colour, complexion” is also thought to be related. Further afield through a Proto-Indo-European root, the word blue is possibly interrelated with words from many modern languages which mean white, grey or yellow, like the Russian белый, belyi (white), and the Welshblawr(grey). The root of it all may be the Proto-Indo-European *bhel- meaning “to shine, flash or burn”.

Phrases: “feeling blue”, “blue skies” (happy days), “blue-collar workers”, “blue stocking” (educated woman), “blue ribbon”, “blue blood, “blue moon”, “blue-sky thinking”

Purple/violet: royalty, imperialism, nobility, wisdom, episcopacy, mysticism, elegance

Origins: Purple arises from the Old English word purpul which stems from the Latin purpura, that came from the Greek πορφύρα (porphura. Porphura was the Greek name of the Tyrian purple dye created in antiquity from mucus secreted by the spiny dye-murex snail. This dye, depending on the manufacturing process, could make shades of yellow, green, red and purple. The darkest colour – a reddish, blackish purple – was the most expensive and was the colour of Tyrian nobility.

Literature: The Color Purple

Music: “Purple Rain” – Prince, “Purple Haze” – Jimi Hendrix, “Purple People Eater” – Sheb Wooley

Phrases: “born to the purple” (born to rule), “purple prose” (ornate or pretentious writing), “purple mountains’ majesty”

Brown: reliability, stability, conformity, dullness, earth

Origins: the term brown has its birth in the Old English brún, which meant anything dark in hue. It may be related to the Germanic adjective *brûnoz, *brûnâ meaning dark as well as glistening, like in “burnished”.

Music: “Brown Sugar” – The Rolling Stones, “Brown-eyed Girl” – Van Morrison

Phrases: “brown spaces”

Black: evil, death, decay, depression, sophistication, mourning, fear, secrecy, bad luck, witchcraft, occult, black magic, anarchy, non-conformity

Origins: Black originated form the Old English blæc (black, dark) and the Old Saxon blak(ink) which came from the Proto-Germanic *blakkaz(burned). That term came from, again, the Proto-Indo-European *bhleg- (to burn, gleam, shine), from the base *bhel- (to shine). The word black and its roots are related to the Old High German blah (black), the Old Norseblakkr (dark),the Dutch blaken(to burn), and theSwedish bläck (ink). Before the word black was in use in England, the word for the colour black was sweart (dark, black). This word exists today as the word swarthy, dark-skinned.

Music: “Black or White” – Michael Jackson, “Back to Black” – Amy Winehouse, “Black Dog” – Led Zeppelin, “The Man in Black” – Johnny Cash

Phrases: “in the black” (solvent), “to blacken his name”, “blacklist”, ”blackball”, “blackmail”, “black and white” (no middle ground), “the new black”, “that ole black magic”, “black day”, “black market”, “black comedy”, “black sheep of the family”, “black-hearted” (unloving), “black mood”, “my black dog” (depression), “black hats” (in film – the bad guys), “black hole of Calcutta” (overcrowded, poor), “black tie”, “black as sin”

White: heaven, peace, God, angels, purity, virginity, innocence, morality, brides, wedding, cleanness, nobility, winter, snow, ghosts, white magic, non-violence

Origins: White originated with the Old English hwīt, that came from a Common Germanic *χwītaz and the Old High German (h)wîz.The root word from the ancient past is from the Proto Indo-European *kwid-, seen today in the Sanskrit śveta (to be white or bright).The ancient Germans also had the word *blankaz (white, bright, blinding), which delivered the source for Romance words for “white” (the French blanc, the Spanish blanco, and the Italian bianco). (And perhaps “blank”?)

Literature: Isaiah 1:18 “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow.”

Phrases: “black and white” (no middle ground), “white hats” (in film – the good guys), “whitewash” (propaganda), “white flag” or “to show the white feather” (surrender), “man on a white horse” (hero), “white-collar workers”, “white elephant”, “white tie and tails”

Grey/gray: neutrality, age, depression, monotonous, dreary

Origins: from the Old English grǣg, the Old High German grāo and the Old Norsegrar.

Phrases: “grey power” (influence of the elderly), “shades of grey” (morally ambiguous)

Pink: girls, love, health, spring, beauty, cancer awareness

Origins: The term pink had nothing to do with colour but with flowers called pinks that had frilled edges. To give something a frilled edge is “to pink” and may come from the medieval German pinken (to peck). By the 1600s, the term pink/pinke as a colour meant a yellow tone which was mixed with blue to make green.

Music: the singer Pink, the group Pink Floyd

Phrases: “pink dollar”, “to be in the pink” (healthy), “seeing pink elephants” (drunk), “pink slip”, “pink-collar workers” (men doing jobs traditionally associated with women)

Is it not rather interesting that the colors red, black and white have not only the most connotations but the strongest ones?

Provides the social, cultural, religious, psychological and natural meanings of colors.

By: Joan Whetzel

Colors take on meanings in all aspects of our lives, from representing traditional or cultural mores, to expressing religious ideals and concepts, and eliciting physical and psychological responses. Colors take on natural meanings to reflect the natural world around, cultural meanings and social ideals, psychological responses, and religious significance. It’s not just about the meaning of the colors, but how we use them to enhance our lives.

Using Color
Specific colors are frequently chosen for interior design, artwork, advertising and graphic design, web page design, and clothing based what the colors mean and how they are associated with the design as a whole or the ideals they are meant to represent. A color may be used to purposely produce a physical or psychological reaction. For instance, because red raises the blood pressure, it is used for stop signs or to signify danger. Some cultures use red to ward off evil or draw luck. Some cultures use white for weddings, while others use it for funerals.

Cultural meanings of colors communicate social ideals, so green now implies luck, wealth or seasickness. Psychologically, colors can take on positive or negative connotations. In this case black could symbolize power or death. Colors can also be used to help change ones mood or state of mind. Blue and green, for instance, are calming, whereas red and orange are stimulating colors and could be used to lift a depressed funk. Religious meanings for color connect to our spiritual beliefs. In religion, colors may be considered sacred and can only be used during certain times of the year or for certain religious rituals. Black, religiously speaking, could be the dark night of the soul – a period of time when bad things appear to be bombarding us, which is precisely when we must wait on the Lord to take care of these problems. It’s a bit like sitting in a dark room waiting for the situation to play itself out. Green, on the other hand, represents fertility in many religions.

Red

Shades of Red include: blood, blush, brick, burgundy, cinnabar, raspberry, strawberry, cherry, flame, fire engine, scarlet, maroon, rose, rouge, ruby, rust, tomato, and verdigris.

Red in nature: fire, sex, Mars and blood

Red in religion:

Becoming a mother is no easy task, but preparing for it just may help things along. As with everything in life, practice makes perfect so is the case with meditation and relaxation methods. If you decide to wait until the very end, you will go in there totally unprepared and probably you wont have the type of birthing experience you were hoping for.

Labor, Chakras, and Meditation

            Going in labor is no easy task, ask any woman and she will tell you the same thing; then she will go on to tell you her story and finally let you know there is nothing else in the world like giving birth. Guess what? She is absolutely correct and as a mother to be, she can instill fears in your that you never knew existed. Keep in mind each woman labor is different, there is now turning back, certain drugs can be dangerous to you as well as your new born, so the best thing to do is learn to go with the flow. In this article it is my attempt to teach you how to clear your chakras and get helpful energy from gemstones or colors. The use of chakras for meditation can and will make all the difference in the world, if you start now. Taking a class or two will never prepare you for the hard work ahead of you, and if you don’t practice then you just wasted time at these classes, and you won’t be prepared. A good birth starts with a prepared mother to be.

            It is great to have a partner, or best friend to work with you so that you have some one to aid you through each step of meditation. Chakras are great for meditation, but before I begin let me tell you there are two “chakras systems” that people use; some use stones and others use color. Colors are widely used because they can be obtained or pictured more easily; so let me explain the two systems.

            Stones are gems of the earth they contain energy that can the help you harness the power to so you can reach a level of relaxation to help take your mind off of what is going on around and within you. Starting with the Citrine stone, we focus on relaxing the top of our head; imagine the yellowish gem on top of your head, focus. Imagine the yellow just flowing down, over the crown of your head, just about to break through you hairline. Now your going to think about Amethyst, a purplish stone that will help you relax your face muscles, starting with your eyes, to your ears, nose, mouth and chin; stay focused. After you have that under your control, move on down to your throat by bring turquoise into you mind, the relaxing blue gem. During labor it is all right to moan and groan, so by clearing your throat chakra, it will enable you to vocalize sounds, which by letting these sounds escape your lips, slowly and calmly you will be able to relax.

            Moving down to matter of the heart let go of all and any anger. Anger is a wasted emotion, which has no room at this time. Focus on the Peridot, the beautiful light green of the August birthstone. You should be feeling tranquility coming over you, your relaxing and clearing the chakras throughout you spin. Now you are about to prepare for the hardest parts of relaxation and that is while using the Carnelian Gem stone, an orange stone to help focus on really relaxing your mid to upper stomach, releasing any stress using your ability to vocalize. Some people will use the Tigers Eye stone instead of the Carnelian but they both carry much needed energy. It is quiet now as your enter a totally relax state of mind, move on down to the lower stomach, as you move on down focus on the Lolite Gem, a beautiful violet stone, Now stay focused as labor progresses the harder it may be for you to stay focused, but you must. Finally focus on the red of the Garnet gem, bring it into focus see it, feel its power, the Garnet is the energy that helps to keep our chakras clear and ground us with the energy of the earth. This chakra is at the tail of our spine, keeping us connected to the energy force of the planet we call home.

Once completed, stay in this state of mind until you feel the need to either start over working from the top of your head with the Citrine Gem, or you may prefer to work up the spine to bring forth revitalized energy, so they start with the Garnet gemstone.

            Working with stones is very hard to visualized, for some who are lucky enough to be able to obtain a small stone, about the size of a penny, of each gem mentioned, helps a lot. What also helps a lot is having your partner, your friend, your mother or your Doula there to softly mention each gem, and help you to find way to relax and utilize the power within the stone, while empowering the woman in you. Having a partner there helps to calm your fears, with words and gesture softly whispered, or a hand held tight during the waves or contraction, as your body prepares to give birth.

            The other way in which one may find it easier to clear their chakras is by using color. This way is less complicated in the sense that it is easier to picture colors, for example red for apples, and yellow for bananas. The way color is used is again starting at the top of your head visualize the color purple, and relax surrounding your head in purple as your working into a violet color. With the violet color picture the changing of color; relax your face, your brow, and your chin. Once you have this accomplished slowly move to the next color, the light blue which represent the throat, giving you that ability to speak out, to moan and groan; this is your throat chakra. Once you have yourself very relaxed move onto green, back to matters of the heart, release any negative energy, any hatred it is wasted energy, now it is the hope that you are completely at ease as you move down to the yellow and orange chakras, the yellow telling you, “YOU CAN DO IT, while the Orange will be the power behind you. It is best to arrive at this point as a wave, or contraction is upon you, since you can do it and it is within you, the power to do it, not because you have to, but because you want to. Now completely relax as you picture the red, the bright red of a Red Delicious Apple, it is grounding you to the power the energy of the earth. Now completely wrap yourself in the rainbow of color. As with the stones, you may want to start from the head again, or you may want to bring forth revitalized energy from the earth, and start from the tailbone, your red charka.

Image via Wikipedia

            Either Charka cleansing method works wonders, if you allow your mind to relax, you begin as early as possible to practice daily. With or without a partner you can still practice repeating, relaxing and just staying focused. You may want to bring an Ipod to the hospital or a CD player to play low soothing music.
Registered trademark of Apple Ipods

Image via CrunchBase

As labor moves along, many woman turn inward, and just want to be left alone wrapped up in the moment of relaxation and soft music, no to be interrupted or touched. So start today, and really practice, empower yourself to bring forth the most precious gift of all, a beautiful tiny baby.

We all have inner strength, it is a matter of locating it, harnessing it and learning to allow the strength, this power to flow freely, opening ones senses to their own personal needs.

Image via Wikipedia

Finding your inner strength is also related to finding the power to not only be confident, but to be able to relax, quickly. Through ones Chakras one is able to do so, only if you allow yourself and educate yourself about how these gem stones and colors that affect many of us throughout the day, and throughout our life.

Yogin with 6 Chakras

Wearing a bracelet for many is a reminder of the order of charkas to be used, helping us to focus because it is all right there on the bracelet. The idea of the Chakras, is to help you re-energize using the energy that surrounds us.

We start at the top of the head, and working down the spine, ending at the tip of the tail bone, which is where we are grounded. Grounded to the energy around us, surrounding us at all times, we are all grounded to the earth, all which helps provide the means to relax and revitalize our body

            Starting with the Colors, we start with the top of our head, using the white color, for purity, first we relax our face; then focus on the very top of our head down around the back to about our ears, just relax. White is always a symbol of purity, so stay focused.

Now slowly bring the feeling over your brow, and eyes; slowly bring white to a purple color. This is where it all begins, the purple represent the awareness, opening your subconscious mind, which bring forth thoughts of purity and simplicity.

Once you feel at peace move on down to your face, relax it, your eyes, your nose and relax your mouth including your cheeks and unclench your teeth. This is a blue purple chakra which is located in the center of your forehead and help us to calm down. Opening the chakra at this point and relaxing, enabling ideas unclear to us, to open and present a clear vision. The energy has cleansed your mind, which is now open to new ideas.

Then we move onto the sky blue chakra a very soothing color. Which is located in our throat and neck region, which helps us to breath, and to speak; after the energy has been release and re-energized it help us by enabling us to visualize what it is we what to say, and where we want to be.

As we proceed further, to matters of the heart we encounter the green Chakra, we need to release any anger we are holding onto. Whether it is jealousy or the anger that rises when those we love hurt us. It helps bring together the love we physically feel for other and the spiritual love that surrounds us. Once the negative energy is calmed and slowly subdued it is then we are able to slowly connect with our inner strength, located in the center of our stomach, the yellow Chakras. It is at this point that you begin to believe “I can”; because your in touch with your personal powers.

These two last Chakras are the orange and red. The orange one helps you to know what you want and feel, located in the lower region of the stomach; while the red located at the tip of the tail bone is the Chakra that connects us with the energy surrounding us all. It is at these two points that we are grounded with our inner strength. The red Chakras is always connected with the earth and energy that flows from it; allowing us to physically seek survival.

Through these Chakras once cleared it enable us to stay focused; it guides us to where we what to go, helping us to see what we want while giving us the inner strength to obtain that of which the heart desires.

Simplified

Purple to clear the mind,

Violet is to relax,

A soothing calming color,

Love and jealously needing to be recognized and released,

Empowering and gainful strength,

This leads to the ability of needs and desires,

While this is the connector, connecting us with the earth and the desire to LIVE!

While some may look to the colors of ones chakras, others look to stones, in a quick description starting with the top of our head to the bottom of our spine. We look at the different gemstones that were used in years gone by.

Starting with a Rose Quartz, which represents the compassionate one holds within ones heart, moving to the Turquoise, which enables us to communicate our wishes.

The Aventurine is the chakra that holds our personal powers while the Tiger Eyes is our physical energy; these two gemstones help us to keep the energy within us; balanced.

The next two stones are the Carnelian Gem stone, which connects us to our creativity, and the Sodalite Gem will lead us to higher intuition; when we truly clear the energy that builds up around us these Chakras it is then that we can totally be open to new ideas. Finally is the Clear Quartz, which connects us to our world will help restore the balance within us. In the order mentioned, is the order to focus on, helping one to obtain inner peace and a quiet heart.
