I presently am vice president for a heritage society (The Port Moody Heritage Society, Port Moody, BC) and have volunteered for it for the past 10 years. I have also done other volunteer work before this, but more recently with my closer work with and on the board of directors and executive as well as a few years on the city heritage commission have seen the struggle of groups both financially and to find volunteers.
