The United States post office is in trouble and downsizing, but what are we the American People thinking here...

The United States Post Office, has touched every single life breathing today in one way or the other. The Postman, as we still call it, delivers smiles with those post cards, personal letters, or occasion cards for your special day. And yes do not let me forget to mention, they also deliver those dreaded bills, notices, and reminders that we all love to hate so much. People have got away from the great services that the Post Office offers and moved to other companies that tickle your ear with benefits. Did you know that whatever benifits the other guys offer that the Post Office offers as well? Did you know that the same services are usually half or more less by using the Postall Service? I have shipped pakages in the past 4 years by using several companies, but I have had more sucess with the Post Office than I have with any other service, and my packages do not get abused, damaged, or lost. The Mail runs at your house everyday, except alloted Holidays. It does not matter the weather, does not matter how much mail has to be delivered, does not matter how bad the roads are, or that the traffic is horrible. Snow, Rain, Sleet, Ice, Tornadoes, and extreme heat still does not detour your mail from arriving at your house. And if you have a pick up that is taken care of as well. I have great respect for the postal workers in all departments of the branch. A stamp is still priced reasonable, for the time being. You still get lots of special treatment that other delivery companies do not evern offer, and the post office is free. And do not let me forget the gathering advantages. By gathering advantages I am talking about the front porch with the bench for the elders to gather everyday and tell the newest gossip, the rising prices, politics, and whatever else they have on their minds that day. Now these small town gathering social points are diminishing fast. Small post offices are closing fast, and will be non- existent in the near future. The postal service should be withheld with honor, and respect. Because the United States Post Office has delivered historic news, treasured letters, secret information, and touch all lives everyday with the exception of Sunday. This life will pass us all by if we do not slow down and use better judgements in our decisions. We are letting history slip right out of our hands, for new aged technology, and the new aged technology will not last. Roots and history are a very important part of this country, if we are not careful this will slip right out of our hands, and be gone.

A brief statement of one of the occupy movement member.

The lions of humanity is awakening with every breath they takes. The scene in the world stage is clear. The obvious is the profound. For what is transpiring in the world, leads us the 99% to ask why. Why is it that children get raped by out so called holy men? Why is it that the church commits crimes internationally (Canada being one of the most inflicted) and goes unpunished if not dismantled? Why doesn’t the mea culpa speaking pope turn himself in for being the biggest farce and unholy waste of a meat bag pedophile on the planet? Why is it that billions of people starve to death in a world of plenty? Why is it that children and mothers die of starvation when the worlds industrial nations suffer from obesity? Mind sharing some of the food you fat jerks. Billions live on less than two dollars a day. When, children starve and die, for the profit of the few. And let’s also be aware of those who speak out against it mysteriously end up dying? We the aware 99% have asked and have found our answer. We can see that the structure of society is the root cause of the way it is. Thus the global revolution is taking place. Human beings, who are really consciousness being humans are starting to rise in mass numbers. This revolution will continue. We have the cause, our cause, to eliminate the elite class, not through violence, but though the awareness of the parasitical sickness that they are. For the few parasites that wish to maintain their control, our awareness has our eye on you. The biggest threat to you is that you’ll be discovered and removed, and your fear has come to pass. We, on a collective level are aware of your presence. The awareness that we are, will be meeting some challenges soon. Mainly because the parasites will attempt to do everything in their power to maintain control over us, to make sure we are not successful. However, as many Taoist have said “awareness changes all”. And all of us are becoming more and more aware. Oh, the parasitical few who is reading this; I know what you’re thinking. “We’ll make it rain darkness, so you won’t find your way out.” I have a few (pun intended) things to say. You are failing. OK, control and suppression is dying. Also, you can give a lion a mea culpa, because it isn’t aware it’s a lion, but as soon as the lion becomes aware of itself, well, you can fill in the rest. We are humanity, we are consciousness, and we are the 99%. Each of us is a light in the darkness that shines like no other. So to those who make it rain darkness I have one thing to say. Let the darkness rain, and we’ll light it.

I know this looks like a protest, it sounds like a protest and it sure as hell feels like a protest but the last thing we should do, whether we are occupiers or the one percent, is mistake it for a protest.

Look. I know they say if it walks like a duck… But this is different. Yes, we can see the signs that call for crooks to be arrested, the fed to be audited, homes to be saved and tuitions to be lowered but those are complaints, together, are another sign and we can all see it: Our system simply doesn’t work. It’s as plain as the noses on our faces.

Listen. I live on the west coast, far away from wall street but I hear. I hear the chants and the drums and the calls for help. I can hear the peoples mic and because of that I can hear myself. I can hear the pain and the anger that I’ve long tried to silence. This isn’t new. I heard it in my high school years, in the mosh pits at the Rage Against The Machine shows. I heard the peoples mic deep inside well into adult hood but the necessity of work and life and the sound of a million advertisements drowned it out. It never went away but it became harder to hear.

Sniff. Can you smell it? The corporate owned news have complained about the stink of these so-called protests. They smell awful. They need a shower. It’s disgusting. You know what? I think it smells exhilarating. The smell of human bodies, of food cooking and being served in the street, of donated clothing and blankets, of generators and of the night. The smell that bothers me is the stench of corruption that plagues our political body, the blood of our citizens in the streets, and the rot of our landfills piled high with meaningless junk we are told we need to fill the holes deep inside of our selves.

Does it hurt, that aching deep inside? Haven’t you wondered what it is and why it’s there? We’re a herd species. That hole we fill with ever increasing amounts of junk is our want of closeness to our her, closeness with each other. That aching inside that you felt so long is going to be replaced by a burning sensation. It takes some time and a spark and then suddenly the passion sweeps through like fire and before you know it, you’re standing in a park, holding a sleeping bag, and feeling alive.

I’ve tasted some foul shit in my time. Two years ago I nearly died. My appendix ruptured and damaged my colon and intestines in the process. I’ve heard the phrase “that tastes like shit” used to describe bland or poorly spiced food but when I was recovering from surgery, I tasted shit. Actual processed food had no where to go except up and out. It was the single most awful experience in my short life. I wasn’t even thirty, yet. And I was certain I would die. The doctor told me he was surprised I hadn’t, already. I’m now $100,000 in debt because of an unpreventable illness. And I can say from experience, that tastes like shit.

Ron Paul, and others, have said we’re protesting because we want hand outs. It’s absurd. We’re the ones paying taxes. We’re the ones who have enabled businesses and the wealthy to exploit us and diminish our self worth to the point that some people, even our poverty stricken brothers and sisters, think it’s a good idea to get rid of the minimum wage. Our tax money goes straight to their bonuses and they say we’re looking for a hand out when all I want is a political process that doesn’t reward corruption, that doesn’t drive on self interest, that isn’t sold to the highest bidder?

So, yeah, we hold signs, play drums, sleep several people to a tent, cook and eat on the street but it isn’t an act of protest. It’s an alarm clock. We’re waking ourselves up. We’re Paul Revere riding through our psyche yelling The Enemy Is Here! Well, okay, it’s not a perfect metaphor but it’s the best I got. And it’s a wake up call to you. Use your senses!

But those senses, the ones I used to help frame this alarm clock, aren’t the only ones I want you to use. Use your sense of decency, your sense of right and wrong, your sense of being, your sense of fellowship, and most of all your sense of self worth. Use them to will yourself into action.

The first time I went to an occupy encampment I was greeted with a simple phrase: Listen, and be Heard. I invite you to do the same.

The American People Want Results, Not Excuses. Whoopi Goldberg Help!

This probably sounds like harping at this point. There have been a multitude of television, radio shows and articles both paper, book and electronic that have discussed this topic. The public opinion has been subject to many different venues. We are tired of our leaderships taking the route most traveled and winding up in the same spot, penniless and jobless.

That’s right, we need jobs. What are the major indicators? When the statisticians have to manipulate the numbers to show a positive outcome is a major one. When the flash-mobs start organizing criminal activities is another. When people give up on looking for a job because they have been out of work for more than 2 years, this one is just the straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back.

We need jobs, how much more proof is needed for this one? We need more sources of revenue. The FAA is up and running but for how long? Legalizing illicit drugs would be a great source of revenue. We have lost the war on drugs, it’s time to stop punishing people for their destructive coping skills by putting another burden on the economy by placing them in jail instead of tax supported rehab facilities they paid for with their own bad habit. The prison systems are overrun with people who have not committed a violent crime, they just need a legal way to deal with their self-destructive coping skills and throwing them in jail hinders this process.

It’s time to give the illegal aliens a tax number. So they can pay into the system they chose to try for the naturalization process in support of our government that can’t keep them out. How about giving those illegal’s that are not violent criminals a grandfather clause so that there are no repercussions for how they came here, just so they have the opportunity to do the jobs we refuse to take on and pay taxes. The illegal aliens are not taking the jobs we want; they take the ones we are overqualified for like garbage men, waitress or dishwasher.

Gay marriages should be part of the norm, yes the majority of people are heterosexual but this fact should not omit the other fringe factor of society just because the homosexuals, transsexuals, and others that have a sexual difference whether from preference or genetic mapping to have the basic rights of the rest of the population. How many people are not paying a licensing fee for marriage because someone feels uncomfortable?

We need to take back our heritage of honor and ingenuity now, while the old ways and traditions have failed us this is our wake up call for change. True change and not just going from one political party decision to the other but thinking outside the box. Bringing in more of the population fringe element by legalizing gay marriage, legalizing illicit drugs, generating an easier protocol for illegal aliens to go through the naturalization process will create more jobs, more revenue and a healthier inclusive perspective for the citizenry of this great nation.

This is our country, but our government leaders haven’t gotten the message yet. We will not take their excuses and blaming anymore. If you decide to go down this route you are dooming this system to fail. Let’s face facts, if our government and whole society doesn’t collapse it still doesn’t look promising for the current leaders because more likely than not they will be voted out of office. No one wants to hear excuses for why the system is failing; we want to hear what is being done to promote more jobs and revenue therefore stability.

Try another route, we need to see some actions from our leaders that show the ability to adapt to different situations and are more inclusive instead of the same old excuses for why the whole situation is locked into a downward spiral towards collapse. These are just a few ideas from two people sitting together for a healthy discussion on the topic at hand.

We need some comedians to start working these topics into a stand-up routine that brings a higher comfort level for the majority so that more people will join in a can-do or let’s-do perspective instead of everyone just complaining. Whoopi Goldberg can you help out Washington? How many jokes can you make from this article? Whether you are for or against the topics brought up, or if you have other options you would like to explore, please speak up and get the ball rolling.

It's good company.

“Once upon a time a dream filled the head of a little girl that dared to imagine, naivety is every child’s weakness but, this little girls strength. For as a child, she believed in the magic that she heard from many others “When praying asking for anything and be patient anything you ask for you will receive “. She constantly thought of all the many things she wanted , trinkets, toys, sweets. Often you would find her on bended knee turning prayers into wishes, asking for all the many things that made her heart flutter. She was raised to think that Divinity was a genie granting every thing she wanted, rub the lamp the right way and all things would come …. That child grew up to be me“

Years later, I no longer dream such a fate, I create it, I no longer treat prayers like wishes, instead, I have moments alone to experience my true divinity in conversation, learning to give and receive love. The thoughts of others on how I should ask for things is of no concern to me, but I will listen. The lamp is not rubbed anymore it is now lit as a candle guiding my way.

I find that many on my journey including the gentleman we keep company(my husband and i,( see earlier blog believe) treat divinity as a genie, always asking and never having a real conversation. Then wondering why things don’t happen then remaining stuck in the “not receiving”. Things take time, the process is usual never fast enough for any one, but with patience and a commitment to staying in tune with your true path, all things will be yours.

I have learned having a conversation goes a long way,Divine company, is good company.

Love,light,joy

A lesson from a tree.

The other day I was doing some yard work for the gentleman that my husband and I keep company ( check out the blog called Believe for the complete story) I was cleaning the front area of the house. From the street view most see a beautiful tree which blooms pink and white flowers. Early in the spring it shares its sweet scent to whom ever walks by and is conscience of its aroma. But, as someone who has to do yard work the tree can be a chore, for early in the spring season the petals of the flowered tree continually shed causing plenty of work.

I myself find cleaning meditative, allowing me to clear my head and perhaps learn a few lesson doing so. After about 10 minutes of sweeping up this fallen beauty I was sent a thought arriving in three words “Perfumed Scented Death”. What a phrase I thought sweeping them into a pile. I began to see the mental image of the man who we keep company along with this;

A man once bloomed a sweet smelling life filled with the aroma of spirit, with only the pleasantry of life to look forward too. Unfortunately life’s beauty ended too soon but, the sweet scent still lingered. The spirit unwilling to face such a reality. Remained unaware of the Perfumed Scented of Death that was taking place disguising his pending demise.

I took a moment to allow my mind to ponder such a thought, It sadden me not just for the gentleman but for all who do not see what is ahead of them. I do not claim to know the future but, I can understand natures language with divine guidance and listen to it.

In addition when something has died don’t be afraid to mourn it, give your self time to let it go. For there is a possibility that more beauty will follow, waiting, just as the tree taught me, for now it blooms a wonderful green. Be willing to see the truth and except it, Remember when creating a new life or anything new for that matter always seek the guidance of your higher divine self, Divinity. ….and when planting trees in your yard it’s best to avoid such trees for a Perfumed Scented Death, sure is a lot of work

Love,light,joy

Never the answer.... it only creates more questions.

The gentleman who we keep company with and whom we are connected with through a divine miracle, I call it (Check out an earlier blog ”believe”). Struggling each day, his hope seems to be riding a roller coaster. Thoughts of suicide spew out of his mouth in a rage or in a moments of so called peace. Death seems to occupy his mind, each day he finds himself a quite place , his place of peace is a cemetery close by down the road. It seemed odd finding peace at a cemetery , I guess everyone is dead so, there will be no interruptions.

He says “I find God there”…I try not to break his reality abruptly with the hard truth, that in order to live you must surround your self with living inspiration. I have mentioned it subtly but he seems to ignore me, death has taken over his mind.

His frail spirit and body seems to want to exit this life, He struggles with the truth that he no longer has the comfort of drinking or smoking anything that did distract him from the truth. In light of seeing such a reality his distorted truth is that he would be better off dead….not sure how he knows that.

I help him with his pain by sharing my journey with him telling him at 11 years old I saw the lies, the illusion and I ran away from home to search for the truth. Yes, it caused me to think suicidal thoughts amongst other things but, I am still here. Each day I must recommit to my life, allowing my spirit to show and guide the way with plenty of help from the Divine. It is a must to recommit to life for the journey is hard and we all need a reminder each day for death does not waver in trying to convince us to take our lives seen each day through media sources.

Suicide is never the answer, it only creates more questions, for no one is sure where one will end up if one take his or her own life. But I can say for sure if you choose life and fight the good fight and surround yourself with living inspiration I know you will not be disappointed. I know there is joy, there is love , there is peace in life. Despite what we have been told as a society those gifts do not exist in death, those gifts are for the living. Always chose life and the blessing of joy, love, and peace and many others will be yours, just keep fighting the good fight….and remember your not alone.

Love,light,joy

Change is naturally divine.

In a world where things seem to constantly change, the truth is they don’t. Despite that technology is updating and fine tuning new gadgets making things brighter, louder and smaller man’s change is an illusion. Nothing is really changing the more things change the more they stay the same. To produce such an illusions requires the mind to see what is not there and many human beings are willing to do that.

Real change is signified by growth on all levels, abundance which when produce should be shared with others and adaptability to live in any situation the journey provides which most human beings are afraid of. I have observed how difficult it is for some to change careers, homes and ways of thinking, things that have been rooted in there life for over 10-20-30…..years causes fear, to afraid to start a new, little do they know it’s a natural part of the journey.

I myself have lived a journey of change, ever since I can remember I have had to change to survive the impending road ahead….an uncomfortable lesson. I had to watch those I love remain rooted, unmoved in there circumstances, my thoughts lead me to believed that I was being punished, but now realizing I was preparing for the truth, change is necessary……… not the enemy.

The interesting thing is that change is apart of our natural divinity, we are meant as beings to explore our surroundings, to search for others in this great vast earth. We are meant to teach the newness of the world to our children, so they in turn can rediscovering the beauty for themselves. Most are still rooted in past hanging on to man’s vision of change which again I will say, is an illusion. If we do not learn to adapt to new thinking, we will die, if we do not learn to change with our earth, we will die, if we do not learn to open our eyes to lies we will never be free of the illusion.

Divinity is in constant change, each living being may have the same symptoms of pain but the divine solution is always new, allowing co-creation of true beauty. The connection to the our divinity is always changing wanting us to strive allowing our minds to sharpen daily. We learn from divinity, as well as divinity learning from us, we should be learning daily not allowing the illusion to take over.

Today do something different, allow your mind to see, smell, eat, meet a new, and surely your divinity will thank -you. Each day the sun and the moon may look the same but details of the day are yours to co-create with your true divinity…Happy exploring.

We have to learn.

As a child I would often wonder what a perfect world would look like. There were many nights I would sneak out of bed, slowly opening the balcony door and stand in the light of the moon praying to the heavens. Being brought up in a home where love was frail and brittle as it was constantly being broken by anger, my prayers always contained the wanting of unconditional love. Even at a early age I knew I was starving for love. As the years went by my prayers seemed to go unanswered. In the early parts s of my journey the tunnel vision I had only allow me to see what I wanted nothing else.

I have come to realize that some prayer are answered in time. In recent events I have come to also learn that If you want something you must learn first to give it. The gentleman whom we keep company with (My husband and I) he is in great need of unconditional love as I am eagerly awaiting to find my place in life my destiny so to speak. Meeting this gentlemen allowed me to open my eyes more fully realizing a little girl’s prayer was trying to fulfill it’s own destiny…… finally. I still want a world filled with unconditional love and the gentleman needs unconditional love.

So, with all the talents I have learned thus far on the journey, I am capable, willing and filled with joy to accept the request I made as a little girl.

My journey has taken me to a place where unconditional love is required, possible needed for further survival. I never thought it had to come from me. We as a society are trained to believe that some super natural energy must provide it for us but no, It begins with you. To unconditionally love any living being is a tremendous feet, willing to give all of your self despite pain, fairness or stubbornness it be must be given. I admit loving any living being that may or may not love you back is a had pill to swallow but, you soon realize that it’s not about you, It’s about the journey. We must learning the tough lessons so we may teach others. I know the lesson I have learned from a starving gentleman is desperately need in the world today. So here to learning the tough lessons …….. I am so very grateful.

Love,light, joy

Another life's moments...INSANE.

A few suns and moons have past since the lonely gentleman scooped us up from homelessness. With my husband and I out of work it was a true blessing. As usual I had to question such a coupling. Despite the obviousness of the answer, the gentleman needing company and we needing somewhere to live (my husband found a job…hooooray), I had to pose the question to heavens.

Slowly and daily I received a visual response, each day I observe the gentleman and listen to his everyday rants about how horrible he thinks life has been to him, how awful the world is “I deserve happiness, damn it” he yells throughout the house. Everyday he relives the horror of his past something like the movie GROUND HOG DAY but without the humour he is continually in a state of disrepair. Pure anger spews out of his mouth as each day he realizes that nothing has really changed and he must face the reality he has created. He also faces life without alcohol (30 days sober after 43 years) which brings about more stress in his life.

Today he mentioned that the feeling of insanity travels with him, he defines insanity as having something and then loosing…….(the life he once had) or being without an astronomical amount of life’s luxuries such as cars, women and money and facing the truth that youthfulness has left him and will not return.

In this case according to him my husband and I are insane for we are without many things right now……But, I take pleasure in his definition of insanity, if being sane is to have an abundance then lose it or have an astronomical amount of wealth and also lose it then face the reality in old age then I will always prefer to be insane.

The purpose of being here is not quite clear, but if I were to take a guess I would say it is to witness the journey of remorse which makes him feel insane. It has a strong hold on his mind, I spend time with him trying to show him the beauty of life without wealth but it seems futile, I continue for he is worth it. I witness him going deeper, he speaks of suicide each day all because of the remorse of losing it all. I tell him he can create a new life from the lessons he learned from his mistakes, but, I think he is just stubborn in his old age.

Perhaps we are here to learn from his mistakes, to watch a man fall from grace for he truly believes that his own divinity has forsaken him. He is confused by our contentment of own life, he wonders why happiness fills our faces when we have so little, I respond by saying “Were insane” He smiles “perhaps your right” he says.

One thing I have noticed is that most of us live in man made insanity which will produce a behaviour such as the man we live with or we can live in Divine insanity which produces a constant happiness take your pick…… I did.

love,light,joy
