America was once a beautiful and proud Country with great hope and wonderful dreams. America was a land of freedom, but that freedom is fast becoming a Vanishing Breed. How and why is this happening?

This is a paper I wrote for my environmental science class, but after reading back and seeing the passion that I put into and heart that I put into I had to share it here as well.

What makes America great? Freedom is real, perception of freedom can be skewed.

As a youngster I was so excited over my country–America. I lived in the glory days of the WWII when our country was like the cowboys with white hats. These westerners were our heroes of those days. Then like magic–the films started showing heroes of a different caliber. So many of our stars of that era were war heroes and others like John Wayne who could not go, played them on the silver screen. We lost way too many but all were heroes to a young lad of seven until the war ended. Then something happened, I learned too much about our world trade and found American companies mistreating foreign governments and their people. We were industrial bullies and I was ashamed.
Now I watch as our politicians bully others to pass a bill for health care for which seventy six percent of the American public do not want.

Of sound mind and body must take back what is ours.

Failure lurks in an Administration aligned with failure. We The People have been cut off.
