What is wisdom? But first, what are the conditions that render it desirable, if not necessary, and what is its essential purpose?

What is wisdom? But first, what are the situation that render it desirable, if not necessary, and what is its essential reason?

Life is a yearn to reside, and better still a desire to reside joyously. As we strive to satisfy this yearns, we encounter obstacles that perplex or frustrate our efforts. This difficulty or annoyance allowances to pain because it stands in the way of satisfaction.

Wisdom is designed to help us contend with this suffering. It is an adaptive product of cause in the face of strong circumstances. Thanks to it, joyfulness is conceivable and achievable in spite of everything. It is thus the supreme good.

Actually, religion is a good that numerous grade equally high, since it serves the identical reason as wisdom, if distinctly. The difference lies in the way belief and wisdom depict suffering and characterize the meaning of life.

From the perspective of religion, pain betrays a state of worldly imperfection that is in contradiction with the human yearn for perfect joyfulness. Consequently, life here underneath – where humans are condemned to suffer – is absurd in itself. Or rather, life is significant strictly in terms of means to a fantastic end in the large after: A life of virtue organizes the way for an afterlife of bliss. The religious accept as true this in agreement with the teachings of an motivated religious foremost, who assertions to know the transcendental environment of the hereafter.

While personally I cast a skeptical eye on these teachings, I keep my brain open. They are highly doubtful, but the transcendental environment of their object places them after the come to of any discredit founded on conclusive clues.

anyhow, as I glimpse it, wisdom is independent of belief, though it can complement the latter. According to it, life in itself has significance, regardless of its imperfection that people can discover to accept. Better still, they can discover to worth this imperfection as they recognize that perfection, contrary to well liked conviction, is not infinitely attractive.

Indeed, flawless happiness leaves certain thing to be desired. By delineation, it omits pain and therefore all forms of complication or frustration. It supposes that attenuating factors are wholeheartedly favorable – that is, not strong in any way. Thus, no effort is essential while every dream is likely. At first glimpse, this noise like the most magnificent position imaginable, and yet taking another gaze at it will dispel this illusion.

What odd whim, in the annals of humankind, has compelled persons from every stroll of life to depart their cozy dwelling and embark on risky projects? Perhaps this whim is not so odd after all. A multitude of conquests have been made for the sheer joy of conquering against large odds. The operative phrase is pride, accompanied by exhilaration. To conquest-minded persons the infinite alleviate of heaven entails infinite boredom. To them life – simultaneously with the struggle that is integral to it – is the very thing that flawless happiness departs to be desired. It is an opportunity to verify courageous and victorious, though it is furthermore a risk of falling short painfully.

Joyfulness is about grasping this opportunity with bravery and profiting a victory over the obstacles that stand between us and achievement in all the activities that most issue to us. This victory is often strenuous and always restricted, precarious, and transitory, and we are bound to lose the battle in the end; but that makes the triumph all the more prized and worthy of savoring.

When endeavoring to characterize the undertakings in which we most care to do well, we are compelled to study our environment to know our reason. Our growing shrewd depends on this study and this information, leading to this definition. It begins with a perception of our animal will to endure, as survival is the base on which life, in the truly human sense, is constructed. The awareness of life in this sense follows. It takes into account both our humanity and our individuality, as constituents of society with specific flavors and abilities to which a broad variety of undertakings are matched.

The clearer we are about our reason, the more we can live our lives with conclusion and passion, and so with a larger possibility of doing well and accomplishing happiness. The reverse is equally factual. It thus stands to cause that in striving after wisdom we lay the groundwork for achievement and happiness.

You’ll learn everything you need to know about the special person. You will also predict the future and understand how to correct your mistakes before making them (again) and ruining your own life. This way, you’ll have the chance to change your destiny and avoid bad consequences.

I will show you how the unconscious mind that produces your dreams helps you solve your problems without making mistakes. You will understand the real importance of dreams and discover safe guidance.

Most people have a relationship problem. Even when they are mentally ill and they have other psychological problems, they also have a relationship problem.

My example is about love, because love is the most important matter of your life. Love is so important that it is a big danger for your mental stability. This is why the unconscious mind is very generous with you. You have trustful information about the person you love, or clear guidance about how to find your perfect match if you have no relationship. This is a dangerous problem too.

The unconscious guidance helps you calm down and understand the truth.

You will perceive that you can trust the unconscious mind because the unconscious messages have a protective character. Thus, you’ll feel supported and relieved for having precious guidance in your own dreams.

You’ll learn everything you need to know about the special person. You will also predict the future and understand how to correct your mistakes before making them (again) and ruining your own life. This way, you’ll have the chance to change your destiny and avoid bad consequences.

The unconscious mind shows you how the future will be unfolded if you’ll follow the wise guidance you have in your dreams, and also how the future will be for you if you’ll disobey the unconscious guidance.

First of all the unconscious mind shows you your good destiny (if you’ll be obedient). Then, it shows you your bad destiny (if you’ll be disobedient). This order is not always respected in all dreams. You may have first of all negative dream scenes in a dream, showing you your bad destiny in the beginning, and your positive destiny only in the end. Dreams comparing different future results are very common.

You have to be obedient in order to be cured and in order to achieve your goals. If you keep making the same mistakes, you cannot be cured.

For example, if the unconscious mind will show you in a dream that the real reason why your husband told you that he needs some time to think and remain alone is the fact that he is cheating on you, you must be very careful and respect the unconscious guidance.

The unconscious mind will tell you to stay alone and never bother your husband again. It will tell you also not to answer his phone calls or email messages.

Your husband must feel that he completely lost you in order to miss you, and understand how much he really loves you. He must also understand that if he loves you and he wants to live with you, he must respect your relationship.

If you’ll be immature and disobedient, you will face the tragic consequences of your mistakes. You have to obey the guidance of your wise doctor instead of doing silly things that will cause more problems.

If you are an obedient student and patient, your progress will be visible after a few days of dream therapy. The unconscious mind changes your life into practice, besides helping you transform your personality.

Your husband will regret having betrayed you and desperately desire to be with you.

If you’ll be silly and easily accept meeting him before he will really regret having betrayed you, he will never be loyal and respect your relationship. Of course you miss your husband, but this doesn’t mean that you should believe in his lies. You have to bear your separation during a certain period of time and precisely follow the unconscious guidance if you want to see the positive results you desire.

If you want to solve all the problems of your life in a short period of time, you must be obedient and patient. Each dream will help you calm down and understand what to do. When you are impatient you pay for your impatience with more suffering, and you delay even more in order to finally solve your problems.

You’ll save time and pain if you’ll be patient, and if you’ll do only what will surely help you solve your problems, instead of making costly mistakes. The unconscious plan may take some time if you have a difficult problem, but this plan is perfect.

If you’ll obey the guidance you have, you will surely triumph in the end. This is guaranteed because the unconscious mind is God’s mind. The unconscious mind doesn’t make tests (like ignorant human beings). You have clear guidance about how to achieve your goals. You only have to obey the directions you have in order to see the results you desire.

Christina Sponias continued Carl Jung’s research into the human psyche, discovering the cure for all mental illnesses, and simplifying the scientific method of dream interpretation that teaches you how to accurately translate the meaning of your dreams, so that you can find health, wisdom and happiness.

Humor is indeed the best medicine there is whenever you are. I mean anyone can pay good money to listen to a comedian just to make you wet your pants after laughing so hard. Despite of what's been happening, and to those who has gone though the ordeal, it's better to just laugh while facing the troubles with a clear mind than anger with a clouded vision.

1. “Money is better than poverty, if only for financial reasons.” It sounds good to me, I mean the practicality of all things does involve money but it doesn’t have to take an arm and a leg to get it.

2. “I believe there is something out there watching us. Unfortunately, it’s the government.” ‘Nuff said.

3. “There are worse things in life than death. Have you ever spent an evening with an insurance salesman?” This happens to be one of the classic ones. I mean the issue about life’s little problems isn’t all that bad, until ‘he’ shows up.

Sure, relationships can get complicated, or does have its complications that probably any author about relationships is bound to discover it soon. We follow what our heart desires, unless you’re talking about the heart as in the heart that pump blood throughout your body.

4. “Love is the answer, but while you’re waiting for the answer, sex raises some pretty interesting questions.” And if you want more, just keep on asking!

5. “A fast word about oral contraception. I asked a girl to go to bed with me, she said ‘no’.” It sounds, ‘practical’, I think.

And when it comes to everyday life, he really knows how to make the best out of every possible scenario, and it doesn’t involve a lawsuit if he strikes a nerve.

6. “Basically my wife was immature. I’d be at home in the bath and she’d come in and sink my boats.” I never had a boat in my bathtub before. Just staring at it while soaking in hot water makes me seasick already.

7. “I am not afraid of death, I just don’t want to be there when it happens.” If it rains, it pours.

8. “I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose.” It could get worse when you’re guzzling on beer… or mouthwash, and it happened to me once!

9. “If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans.” At least he doesn’t smite us with lightning, and I’m thankful for that.

And despite of what may happen to all of us in the next ten, twenty, or even thirty years, I guess we all have to see things in a different kind of light and not just perspective. I can’t seem to imagine life without any piece of wisdom that could guide us. Whether we’re religious or not, it takes more courage to accept your fears and learn how to deal with them is all that matters when it comes to even just getting along.

And to sum things up, here is the last nugget of wisdom to go by… however, whenever, and wherever we may be.

10. “The talent for being happy is appreciating and liking what you have, instead of what you don’t have.”

It seems yesterday is almost always better than today. Is that the complete truth? This article suggests it sometimes depends on the state of mind the individual.

I wonder what intelligent forces hovered around their heads. Their originality and spirituality were genuine. I always love it when I read about the persistence and the spirit behind their discoveries and inventions. Every generation laughs at the old fashions, but follows religiously the new. I listen to stories of the past generations, which are the bone of contention here, with keen interest; Ghana’s Kwaw Ansah’s Good Old Days stress the point, as if there were no such thing as vices, wars and woes. The truth is that there existed woes and wars, but in comparably definite proportion: since, as someone suggests, there were not enough noises to disturb all the good forces of nature, and a minimum pollution to interfere with nature’s originality. Humans ate bread prepared from cereal harvested directly from the field. The animals from which they acquired most of the protein fed from the original feed nature provided.

Humans’ thought appeared to be more focused and more detailed, comparable with computations by modern sophisticated machines. Most of their philosophies are still valid. People, like the internet marketers, seem to put keen interest or place more emphasis on the century, or two, year old source of information which provided the knowledge for whatever they have come by. Sometimes I am moved to conjecture that the forces which served as sources of their thoughts were closer around their heads. Contrary to this statement may be the reason behind decrease in human conscience; as a result of which, for example, the so-called modern civilised woman exercise her right to practice how to go naked on the street. In fact most of the things making up the status quo make many people feel great nostalgia for the status quo ante even of early this century and beyond.

One of the fascinating stories I have listened to about the primitive or uncivilised human being have been how an Ashanti man studied weaving by watching a certain breed of spider weave its cobweb. This knowledge has been the pillar behind the costly and valuable Ashanti Kente cloth.

The fact is that any good information or knowledge is never completely abandoned by the generations to come; either it can hold enough water to stand the test of time or it would provide a good basis of something important. So whatever good thing your hand finds to do do it with all your might, all your power and all your spirit, this seems to be the secret behind every good discovery, knowledge, philosophy or any valuable thing ever produced by the human mind and wisdom. Value and make good use of this simple precept and peace will never forsake you and your name.

Do you believe in intuition? Do you use it whenever you have to make a decision?

A woman’s intuition, we’ve all heard that before. But how many of us are really making use of it? And certainly, it’s not just women who have intuition. Men also have them and few surveys have found that some men’s intuitions are even better than women’s.

What Is Intuition?

An intuition is a strong nagging feeling you have and that you feel you need to act on. Some people call it “inner wisdom” because you tend to know without really knowing. Intuition can sometimes help you make the right decisions and can even guide you to keep out of danger.

You have probably heard few of these phrases from people you know. “It just feels right…”, “it doesn’t feel right…”, “I just have a strong feeling…”, “I was going to do it but something is stopping me…”, “everything looks right but there is something I’m not seeing…”, and many more that sounds like them. Those are intuition talking. You know your intuition is working when you feel inner certainty about a situation or a person or just something.

Should You Follow Your Intuition?

Most of the time, the answer is probably yes. All of the time, no. Why? Because most of the time you are just faced with trivial matters. And if ever you do listen to your intuition and you turned out to be wrong, the mistake you would have made will be quite minimal. But when faced with life altering decisions, you would need more than your intuition. You would need facts and a viable basis.

Do trust your intuition but you can’t rely solely on it. You should know that there are many factors that can influence or hinder intuition. If you are experiencing a strong emotion at the moment, your intuition at the moment wouldn’t be reliable. For example, if you are very angry at the moment, you are bound to sense wrong signals from your intuition at that very moment, that is, if it’s working at all.

Also, if you have been over-confident about your intuition and what you were able to do in the past through it, you would most likely make a mistake this time. Over-confidence has no room in intuition. In fact, over-confidence can deter your ability to see things clearly, or in this case, feel things clearly.

When working properly or if you really know you can trust your intuition, it can be a reliable gauge in many of your undertakings. But when faced with life altering decisions where your life will change forever due to your present decisions, you would need to think things through. What you think is intuition may turn out to be just one of your desires and you are bound to make a big mistake which you will only see when it’s already too late. Besides, you wouldn’t bet your life on mere intuitions, no? Your life is worth more than that, don’t you think?

Recognize the Source

All religions in this world have their books, mantras, temples, songs, hymns, and what not. They tell you to recite the lines, repeat them every day, and if possible continue to do the same every single moment. But I believe that remaining silent is the most beautiful thing. Silence is the highest religion. You are dwelling in absolute silence and prayerfulness is flowering in you. You are living a natural life that has been conferred to you by the existence, and as a result you will find yourself in a state of euphoria, absolute freedom, and peace. The person who is in tune with nature and natural really lives, he loves; he enjoys the small pleasures of life. And once you start enjoying the small pleasures, the total accumulative effect is a great bliss in your being.

Small things are quite significant and never wait for something big to happen to you. Don’t wait for the promised divine bliss because it will never happen. The religious preachers tell you to do this or do that to achieve the divine bliss. I tell you to be yourself and lead the natural life and you will see that you will be living in an everlasting natural bliss which no religion can confer upon you. Nature has conferred it upon you so begin to enjoy it. Great bliss never happens. Great bliss is nothing but small pleasures accumulating in your being. The total of all the small pleasures is the great bliss. Eating, enjoy it. Drinking, enjoy it. Taking a bath, enjoy it. Walking, enjoy it. Such a beautiful world, such a beautiful morning, such beautiful clouds…what else do you need to celebrate? The sky full of stars…what more do you need to be prayerful? The sun rising from the east…what more do you need to bow down? And amidst a thousand and one thorns a small rose flower arises, opening its buds, so fragile, so vulnerable, yet so strong, so ready to fight with the wind, with the lightning, with the thunder. Look at the courage…what more do you need to understand trust?

If you miss the small bliss you are definitely going to face despair. You are disturbed and you go to gurus or seek truth in book. If you go on looking in the small openings, the total effect is a great door. And suddenly you start seeing what prayerfulness is. Not only seeing, you start living it.

You don’t need any Tantra or Mantra in this life. Just be natural and begin to enjoy the small moments of bliss which come across your way. One day you will see that those small moments of bliss will begin to mean great to you. That is what I call living a natural life.

But the mind is very cunning. The mind wants to manipulate. The mind wants to manipulate even the relationship of love; the mind wants to manipulate even the mysterious phenomenon of prayerfulness. The mind is a great controller. The obsession of the mind is to control everything, not to allow anything beyond control – hence technique. The mind is always asking for techniques and the mind goes on planning for every possibility.

Don’t always try to plan for everything, just give the existence a chance to enter you, to fill you with something which you have never experienced.

We think with the help of our ego and never want to surrender to anybody. We don’t want to take the help of anyone, thinking that it might prove us weaker. All things in this beautiful world are in one way or another related to each other.

Right from our childhood, we are taught that we have to prove ourselves better than other. Everywhere there is competition. Once a small child was playing around his father, who was sitting in the garden, and the small child was trying to pull up a big rock. It was too big and he could not do it. He tried hard. He was perspiring.

The child’s father who had been observing the child’s efforts finally said, “You are not using all your energies.”

The little one looked at his father firmly and said, “Wrong. I am using all my energy. And I don’t see what more I can do.”

The father gave a big smile and said, “You have not asked me to help. That too is your energy. I am sitting here and you have not asked me to help. You are not using all your energy.”

Child came into existence through father’s energy but the child did not know it. The child thinks that it can do everything alone but the father knows that he can help the child.

Love the Way You Know It

I am often troubled to see the way love is defined and described in this so called civilized and educated world. To me love is definitely not a technique and no one can teach you how to love. It is an inborn virtue and it is always there in your existence. There are many gurus and books available in the market and they guarantee that they can teach you love. This is nonsense! Beware of such gurus and books. If you once learn the techniques of love you will never be able to love again. Those techniques will become a barrier. Love is a natural spontaneous phenomenon. Even animals love – they don’t have Kinseys and Masters and Johnsons and they are achieving orgasm perfectly, without any scientific help. They don’t have any sex therapists and they don’t go to any guru to be taught how to love. It is an inborn quality. Each being born brings it with himself.

No one teaches a child how to breathe because it is quite natural. There are gurus like Swami Ramdev in India who are teaching people how to breathe, and surprisingly millions of people have started breathing according to the methods taught by the Swami. If it depended on teaching then nobody would be able to be alive, because time would be needed to teach the child. He would first have to be sent to school, taught language, disciplined, and then finally, after at least seven, eight or ten years, we would be able to teach him how to breathe – he doesn’t understand even the word breathe. No, it doesn’t depend on any teaching. The child is born with the capacity to breathe; it is inborn. It is as inborn as a flower on a bush. It is as inborn as water rushing towards the ocean – naturally.

It simply happens in a child and it begins to breathe. There is no need to teach the child how to breathe. If you take such liberty of teaching, you might kill the child. The same way, there are certain things in our life which cannot be learned from others. You are your own master and you can easily deal with them.

Now, when the child grows up and he begins to understand the things around him better, suddenly, one day, perhaps at the age of fourteen or fifteen, the child starts feeling a tremendous attraction towards the other sex. Nobody has taught it; in fact, teachers have been teaching against it. The whole human history seems to be a teaching against sexuality, against sex energy. Religions, cultures, civilizations, priests and politicians – they have all been teaching how to suppress sex. But still it cannot be suppressed. It seems it is impossible to suppress it.

Nothing extraordinary has happened; it is quite natural and it arises naturally. Even if your elders try to teach you something against it, it definitely arises. It arises even when you are against it – see the truth of it. Even when you are against it, it arises in spite of you. It is bigger than you. You cannot control it. It is natural.

There is no artificial method which can teach you how to love because it springs from leading a natural life. You live naturally and suddenly the love of existence arises as naturally as love for the woman or love for the man arises; as naturally as breathing arises after birth. There is no need to plan for it, or to learn from someone because you will be going away from love if you venture out of the natural course of life and life’s experiences. You simply live a natural life. Don’t fight with nature, float with it, and one day suddenly you will see that the grace has descended on you. A tremendous urge has arisen in your being, a new love towards existence – call it God. Because when love arises, existence becomes personal. Then it is no more ‘it’; it becomes ‘thou’. Then it is a relationship between ‘I’ and ‘thou’.

Prayerfulness has to be understood properly. Prayer comes naturally and all other prayers which are taught to you are unnatural. Let prayerfulness naturally and you will see life smiling around you. In the absence of natural flowering, or if you deliberately try to suppress all that is natural, techniques are needed. Meditation is a substitute for prayerfulness; it is second to prayerfulness. If you have missed prayerfulness then meditation is needed, but if prayerfulness has arisen in you then there is no need for any meditation. Prayerfulness is spontaneous meditation; meditation is prayer with effort. Prayerfulness with technique is meditation; meditation without technique is prayerfulness.

If you can know it in its totality you will have known the whole universe. Then nothing is left behind. Each small thing is so great.

Problem of Knowledge

Knowledge is not as easily gained as you might think. It is definitely not cheap and it does not come just by labelling the things. If you simply label or name a thing, you stop there. You miss a great opportunity that was open before you. Knowing requires complete involvement. You could have known the man if you had got involved with him. You could have known the rosebush if you had meditated alone with it, if you had allowed its fragrance to enter into your nostrils and into your heart; if you had touched it with love. If you had a communion with this rosebush you might have known something.

There is no way of knowing something absolutely because in that case you will have to be alive for infinite years because everything has billions of mysteries still unknown attached to it. If you can know a single rosebush totally then you have known the whole universe – because in the single rosebush the whole universe is involved: the sun and the moon and the stars and the past and the present and the future. All time and all space is converging on that small rose flower. If you can know it in its totality you will have known the whole universe. Then nothing is left behind. Each small thing is so great.

If you come across something or some experience which is absolutely new, I mean unknown to you, just pause and think. Don’t jump to conclusions and never try to analyze of dissect it because you will miss a great experience. You will have to deal with the situation very gracefully, slowly, giving it fair amount of time.

Though I was born in a very religious Hindu family, and in the course of growing up I did study all the religious scriptures provided to me by my elders, but I could never become a Hindu like them. I found that the story of Lord Rama was very personal to him and it was the rescue of his wife and the destruction of some demons which led to the creation of the entire saga. Yes, he did a few things which our elders believe were good but at the same time he was involved in killings and massacre of the rival army. I would never go the same way because I would never impose myself on my children. It was Ram’s father who had promised something to Ram’s step-mother, and as a result Ram had to go on exile. He was forced to do something which was imposed upon him. The Hindu elders often say that he was an obedient son but I say that he was made to think the way his elders thought.

Likewise, in Bhagvad Gita there is the detailed description of the war between Pandavas and Kauravas. Lord Krishna teaches Arjun the meaning of life, war, truth, righteousness, and so on. Whether for good or for bad, Krishna was inciting Arjun to fight against his cousins and elders. It was their family dispute and the saga was put into words and named Bhagvad Gita.

Now they say that these religious scriptures are full of moral lessons and one should learn from them. I don’t find any difference when I see my two neighbours fighting over their ancestral property. Both have their logics and some points for the others to learn from. I meet both my neighbours, brothers, from time to time and they try to justify their stands. Since their situation is not the result of my doing, I have no authority to interfere. It is very much personal to them. They are fighting over a piece of land and I don’t want to get involved.

I don’t want to get involved in the personal affairs of Lord Rama, Arjun, or Lord Krishna. They came and went but the ignorant followers established a religion based on their deeds.

My children have grown up but I am happy that they don’t know anything about any religion. They have no faith. They are very hard working, studious, and good human beings, living their lives very happily. Had I imposed the religion on them, I would have destroyed the flower before blooming. Now they have uncluttered mind because they have learned the art of living day to day, moment to moment, and at the same time dying moment to moment.

The Path To The Stars

By Dougal Mac Gregor

This booklet is a compilation of thoughts, reflections, and advices. This booklet is meant to help you understand the world around you better, arrive at better decisions, enhance the quality of your life, and ultimately find and complete your dreams. Please read each thought carefully, and take the time to mentally digest and understand it. Read them as many times as necessary for you to comprehend the message behind them. But most importantly; question everything, including that which is written here, and that which you take for granted or fact. You must never accept any one idea as the ultimate truth or fact; you may arrive at being 99.99% sure about an idea, but never accept it as 100% fact.

11. Objective or Subjective?

Something is subjective when it is based on personal interpretation, in other words, an opinion. Opinions are often things that cannot yet be measured.

Something is objective if it is not dependent on people’s perception, in other words, a fact. Facts are usually measurable in one way or another, and they are always perceived by everyone.

An example of a subjective thing is “cuteness”, because something can be attractive to person A but not to person B. This may change if we develop a means of categorizing and measuring things by how attractive they are based on some kind of rule or condition.

An example of an objective thing is “weight”, because weight is the same regardless of how it is perceived by each person. Additionally, weight can be measured and categorized regardless of people’s perception.

Advice: It may be difficult, but always remember the difference between objectiveness and subjectivity, and consider whether something is subjective or objective.

The following is an excerpt from Dougal Mac Gregor’s “The Path To The Stars”.

10. Illusion; Perception Makes Reality.

An illusion is something one or more people believe to be true, when in fact it is likely to be false or deceiving. To understand illusions better, we can make reference to the analogy of the realities in topic 9;

You are inside your house in your living room which has a window with a view of huge grasslands and mountains far away. Your neighbor is also inside his house in his living room which also has a window looking in the same direction. The view that you have of the outside may be very similar to the one your neighbor has, but it can never be identical. Say for example, that you are watching a large beautiful tree, which your neighbor can also see but from a slightly different angle. The tree happens to cover from your sight an ugly windmill that stand further behind. Your neighbor can see the windmill because the tree does not cover it from him as it does for you. This means that your neighbor is aware of the existence of the ugly windmill, while you are oblivious to it because you can’t see it, because the tree is on the way from your perspective.

Here the illusion is the tree blocking your view of the windmill. Although usually an illusion represents something that is real in your head but is not real in the external world, in this case the illusion is based on the tree which is a real object. For you, there is no ugly windmill because you cannot see it; therefore you have the illusion that there is only a beautiful panorama. However, your neighbor can see the windmill, so he is aware that the panorama is not as beautiful as you perceive it. The tree represents an illusion to you, but not to your neighbor, and because you cannot see the windmill, even if your neighbor tells you about it, you are unlikely to believe him it is there.

People often think that if something is not perceived by anyone it means it does not exist. Much like the question of “If a tree in a forest falls but no one is close by to hear it, does this mean that the sound of the collapsing tree does not exist? ” This is flawed thinking; and it goes hand in hand with the topic of Illusions. We perceive the external world with our senses, but people mistakenly think it works the other way around and assume that the only things that exist are the ones he can perceive through his senses. It is much more accurate to say that things exist whether we perceive them or not, the external world is independent to our perception, while our perception is totally dependent on the external world.

However, today’s human society is so unaware of this structure that people live in mirror worlds rather than the real one, and you can be easily judged insane by people who do not perceive something that you may be perceiving. For this reason, even if your senses are more developed, or if you can somehow perceive things that others cannot, it is safer for you to pretend that something that you perceive but others don’t does not exist. Especially since it is now widely known that our brains can malfunction and our minds can trick us by creating things in our minds that are not really there in the external world (like schizophrenia), and for this reason people automatically think your brain is malfunctioning if you perceive something they don’t and they call you insane, even if that is not the case.

This is how society works:

If everyone can see, or hear, or smell, or taste, or touch, or feel it, then it is real. If it cannot be perceived by multiple people, then it is not real.

This is how it should really work:

If everyone can sense (see, hear, smell etc.) it, then it is probably real.

If only one person can sense it, then it might not be real, but it could still be.

If no one can perceive it, it might not exist, but it could still exist.

Advice: Be wary, people do not see the world as you see it, and vice versa. If you detect things others do not, you should seek methods of verifying that what you perceive is real in the external world, such as finding other people who can also detect it. Because if you remain the only person able to perceive something; you risk not only being tagged as insane, but being in fact tricked by your mind. By the same reason, always take into consideration what others perceive and not only what you perceive, because they might be able to perceive something you yet can’t (illusion).
