No one is going to love if you don’t love yourself.

I used to have no confidence and just couldn’t get to the bottom of what was causing it and really needed to boost confidence. At work, I was so low in confidence I used to fear meeting people who I’d previously interacted with in the corridor. I was afraid that if I said hello, they might ignore me and not say hello back. This fear was completely irrational! How often, when someone says hello do they not say hello back? Hardly ever. So why I was so scared of this and if it did happen why was it such a big deal?

This poem is about society’s habit of putting superficiality before what really matters. I was heartbroken when I wrote this poem. It turned out pretty well though.

The questions you put them in life are more important than the answers they give. Someone said that not only answers any questions indiscreet indiscreet.
