I William Shakespeare have come back from the dead to tell you about my life. I wish you could have seen how London looked like in the 1570’s. I remember seeing my first play back then. As well as writing down my first play. I also remember the theater we played at burning down too. I let me start at the beginning.

A few years after I was born my dad, John Shakespeare, took me to a play. I loved seeing the actors perform. I was jealous of everyone because the looked like they were having some fun. Even though the plays were short and it was very crowded I still enjoyed it. This lead me to writing my first play.

My first play was a comedy. I was a play-writer and an actor. My play got published in the newspaper. I was called an upright cow because of my play. I wrote 16 other comedies after that. Then I started to write tragedies. Finally it leads to the dreadful night during King Henry the 8th.

In the 1600’s during a performance a cannon was shot to make more of an effect in King Henry the 8th. The cannon ball started a fire and had burn down the Globe. I later retired at the year 1613. While at a friends house three years later I had got a bad fever and died. Just before I died I told a friend to curse my grave so no one could disturb me.

I am so tired from telling my story to you. I think its time to go back to rest. Do not disturb me or you’ll be cursed. I wish I could see my first play one more time before I go. Well I guess that you can say I can now rest in piece.
