Break-up
Relationship, Love.

It takes a couple seconds to say Hello, but forever to say Goodbye.
How hard it is for us to start a conversation with our partner, especially if it is about a break up? Well have you ever hear these line?
- We need to talk.
- It’s not your fault. It’s me.
- I’ve lied.
- Do you remember when I’ve said everything is alright?
- You are like a sister/brother to me.
- I think we would be better off friends.
- I don’t love you any more.
- Do you really want to know why I go out to dinner with my assistant?
- Have you always been so boring?
- Give me back my keys.
Relationships are like glass. Sometimes it’s better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together.
With breakups even though you have the assurance that they are still alive somewhere on this Earth, their love was intentionally withdrawn from you. They opted to leave you. You no longer have their presence, nor their care. They no longer want you.
As a result you may suffer from a consuming grief, depression, anxiety, anger, low self-esteem, lack of closure, insecurities, jealousy, or envy.
Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a teardrop.

When I was young (a long time ago, lol!), break ups used to deal quite a blow to my self esteem. Now I’ve learned to love myself in all my “fabulosity” (HUGE LOL!), and I realize that anyone who doesn’t love and appreciate me for who I am is not worth my time.

So true, it’s sometimes less painful to leave the glass (relationship) broken than hurting yourself putting the pieces back together.
More so, break ups only make you realize (in the long run) that you are worth so much better and that you deserve better. Trash is trash, got to move on and not rot in it.
Cheers,
