How to Speak Parseltongue
The most fascinating language has the craziest answer.
The best child book of this decade would be the “Harry Potter” series. Now, all the readers of this series must have come across the word “Parseltongue”. It is said to be the language of snakes and any one who can speak this language is called “Parselmouth”.
Now, this ability can be inherited and hence is present in the genes.
I do not know how much is this true?
But, whatever it is, I would say that we can learn parseltongue if we can know of the hearing perception by our brain. I’m not sure about this, of how a human being can perceive a particular sound.
Some, of hypothesis say that it is the repeated usage of the particular word with a particular work that we can recognize a particular word or language.
Now, if this is the concept then I believe that we can even communicate with snakes if we can learn their language i.e. even we can become parselmouth and we don’t need any gene to understand that language as we don’t need any gene to learn any other language. Possibly, the problem we have to face is in correlating the work done by the snake and its hissing sound.
But, then whatever is the difficulty at least it is not impossible. This gives us the hope that we can learn this language someday.

It just seems like this article believes that Parseltongue is a real language… which, is stupid. Unless JK Rowling put in as much time as JRR Tolkien in terms of languages, I doubt anyone will be able to speak this “language” any time soon.

Hmmmm. Mmhmm. Yeah, no Harry Potter isn’t real and people are not, and never will be, able to speak to snakes. Hissing is not a language. It’s just something they do to keep predators away. Screaming isn’t a language and neither is laughing. Jeez.

I agree. It’s a power to just UNDERSTAND snakes and their feelings, even if they’re not using any real language.
If anyone’s interested in some Parseltongue used in the movie, I know how to say a few phrases. For pronunciation, watch the second movie:
heshasa – open up
sia kha sashi – leave me alone
sia kha sieth – leave him alone

Well, Klingon became a speakable language so why not Parseltongue? But you all must know that snakes cannot actually hear, so we cannot actually ‘learn’ their language…

It’s such an honor to talk with snakes but I don’t think it is possble, perhaps the snake would only look at you and would laugh behind of its thought.Seems funny, isn’t it?Hahaha

For those of you who don’t know, Parseltongue is a fictional language. Fictional, meaning it was made up by J.K Rowling when she was writing the Harry Potter series. Parseltongue is not a real language!
However, you can pick up some from the movie, when Harry speaks. It sounds like this – Sigh a hass see eth. That means – Leave him alone.

OMG.
We know that it is a fictional language.
But we love it so much we want it to become a language that is recognised. After all Jedi is a recognised religion now..
