12 Questions to Find the Right Job
A real career is built based on skills, education and hobbies. No matter what your job is, you must read the following 12 essential questions that will help you “check” the crucial aspects of your personality.
Try to answer to them. You can search for the answers by yourself or you can even consult with a friend or with your partner.
- What do you do in your work?
- What you liked most about your last/ current job?
- Want do you wish to do more often to your next job?
- What is the perfect work environment for you?
- You prefer – working independently or as part of a team?
- How much do you travel in your work?
- What motivates you?
- In which companies you prefer to work or to learn more about?
- What skills do you have for a certain job?
- What skills do you have and you don’t use them in the present?
- In what area of interest could you receive some training sessions and how much time would it take?
- What were the best attributes that employers / colleagues / teachers assigned to you?
Also, I propose you 10 methods that will help you know yourself better and find the right job, where you can give your best simply because you’ll do everything with passion and enthusiasm.
- Analyze what are your achievements at school and at work.
- Identify your hobbies and favorite activities.
- Talk about your friends and family.
- See a career counselor.
- Keep a diary.
- Write a personal statement of principles.
- Set your goals on a short term and a long term.
- Talk about your work with various colleagues in different hierarchical positions.
- Subscribe to a course in your area of interest.
- Do career tests and personality tests.
Try at least 3 of the above proposals and you will see that you can discover in yourself unexpected resources and find what job fits you the best.
