Employment 2
A few suggestions concerning the rapidly changing workforce.
The developed world is rapidly erasing manual labor. The need for a large workforce is on the decline. I am suggesting to the common man and woman and those who mold the structures which direct all of our daily activities, to consider a split week.
An employer who normally hires 20 employees can hire up to 40 associates, but only allow a 4-day or 3-day workweek. This will allow more people to work, more leisure time, a more productive workforce and a less stressful society.
The economists, accountants, production and financial managers business owners and the Department of Labor, will have to figure out a minimum wage to sustain such a system.
Speed of light technologies have taken up a permanent space in our lives. We must adjust and change with the times.
