How to Get a Good Job
Do you mooch off your parents too much? Have your parents ever told you to get a job? Can’t get a job? Do I ask too much questions? Stay tuned!???…
…anyways, here are some tips for you to get a good job and to stop your parents from nagging you 24/7!
Tips:
- Everyone always has to start off somewhere, so you’ll probably have to do some labour chores. Are you good at washing dishes? Even if you’re not, a good place to start would be a restaurant, washing dishes or being a waiter or waitress, but if you’re really clumsy, that’s not a job you want, unless you want to end up paying bills for broken dishes, in that case, i recommend you do sweeping for stores and restaurants, if you don’t mind an aching back all day.
- You can also be a store greeter or assistant! It’s one of the easiest jobs! All you have to do it walk around the store saying “Is there anything i can help you with?” , the only problem is if they say “Yes, what the …blah blah blah”…and so on.
- After a few years, you’ll probably gather some experience, that’s when you can start with better jobs! But these jobs often require a deep and thorough background search, they’ll probably look at all your blogs and face book and so on to see if you have what it takes, they also check on your criminal records, so I don’t think going around stealing from bubble gum from convenience stores will do you much good.
- Ah, here comes to interview, always remember, FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE REALLY IMPORTANT!!! That’s why you should buy a nice shirt, and unless it’s a very formal job, don’t wear a suit, they’ll think you’re too serious for the job, any nice buttoned, plaided and plain shirt will do, and for pants, suit pants are okay, but then again, and nice, smooth shirt will do. If all else fails, buy a small gift, like a $3 chocolate, and at the end of the interview (or whenever you think it’s a good time) give it to the person, unless you think you’ll probably not get the job anyways, but if it’s a nice job and you do think you’ll get it, then give it to the person because it’ll make your time in the future easier by a lot, chocolates are miracle workers!
- Here’s the last tip, you might not think it’s that big of a deal, but it is! Mind your manners! Remember your thank you’s and please’s and etc.! It help to make a good first impression!
If you followed my tips, there’s a good chance you’ll be getting a good job, but if you think this is too hard, then use more of your brain and go to University and try to score a chance at a scholarship! But if you don’t get one, you’ll probably waste a few thousand dollars a month…so…GOOD LUCK!!! Oh, and by the way, unless you want to risk getting killed, whatever happens, don’t get dragged into working in a convenience store! SERIOUSLY! And I don’t recommend taking your chances on the stock market, unless you’re really experienced or if you want to lose all your money, and same with gambling!
