I HATE STUPID PEOPLE (The Stupid Boss)

This is the first installment of what I hope becomes a series that will live a life time. This series is dedicated to first and foremost make me feel better but also to make stupid people think before talking, teaching or heck even just waking up in the morning. I don’t want to sound like I am whining or complaining so I am going to tell you what about stupid people enrages to a point that I either have to write this or things may escalate. I am not a violent person by nature and normally would turn the other cheek but these idiots just will not stop breathing! They waste our time and oxygen every minute of everyday and I will not stand for it anymore. If you read this and feel that maybe I am talking about you feel free to take whatever measures necessary to fix the situation. I will not give ideas do to the fact that you idiots may try to sue me however I really do not care. Now that I have gotten that off of my chest on with the article.

I have worked in many different environments and worked many different jobs but all for the same company. I have been with this institution for fourteen years and in my current field for almost five. Every two years in this business one of the supervisors over me leaves and is replaced by someone else that really does not have a clue about this field however two weeks into their new job they seem to know everything. Normally I would let this pass and not really worry about it. I would usually just smile and nod, wait for them to leave and it would be business as usual once they were gone. Now I have been the supervisor for the office that I am currently in for the total of one year and our production is double of any year over the last five based of f of the statistics. I feel that this is an accomplishment given the client base that we service and the product that we are pushing. I mean no one else has accomplished what my staff has.

Well my new boss is in charge of eight offices. He has never completed one transaction dealing with our product changing hands and never will. I sometimes wonder why my company would think that this is logical but who am I to judge. Now that my office is doing so well and once again let me reiterate the fact that we have doubled the prior numbers over a similar time span five years back and this clown is tells me “You know what would make you more successful”? Are you kidding me? More successful! What are you going to tell me about being successful? Well against my better judgment I let my curiosity get the better of me. Yes I will have an entire article devoted to myself don’t worry. Back to him now, he says “If you talk to more people, you will make more deals”. I am not sure what my face looked like at that point and time but I believe he was concerned for either my health or his not sure which one but that was truly the dumbest thing I have ever heard in this line of work. I mean anyone that has been involved with a sales profession knows that even my new guy knows that. I am just amazed that a person that is supposedly educated in this area could only come up with this. I mean it is like he actually thought that I hadn’t thought of this. I am in awe. Well he looks at me looking at him and slowly gets his things together. I still have not said a word at this point do to the fact that I am trying to figure out if I really heard what I heard or I just wanted him to sound this stupid. After he was on his way out I turned and stopped him and said the only thing I could say which was. Thank you.

I know that there are a million stories out there like this and would love to hear about them. They are probably more animated than mine. I hope that you read my follow on articles and enjoy them as well. Next up will be that idiot that cut me off on the highway.
