If You Don’t Like Your Job
For all of the workers out there who don’t like their jobs and take it out on the customers.
I am a pretty relaxed person, understanding, and slow to get upset in most instances. But if there is one thing that I do not like it is poor customer service. When I say poor I mean down right I do not care if you purchase here or not kind of attitudes. I recently went to a popular fast food restaurant, and from the start of the ordering process I could feel myself slipping into a state of gloom as if I was just told some really sad news.
The person taking my order never greeted me and had never asked me what I would like for my drink which by the way came with the meal, and never gave me a total for my order. Upon arriving at the first drive up window I finally got a price for my order and then my change was dropped into my hand practically thrown. I was going to let it pass but by the time I arrived at the second window and gathered my order, I was so beside myself and how dry the service was from both the first and second window workers (although the second one did say hello) that I asked for the manager.
Well turns out that she wasn’t worth the salt you put in bread, I explained that the first window worker seemed to just not want to be there working,or maybe it was that you all were short staffed (he was wearing a dishwasher black plastic like apron) and he maybe was not happy to being done someone else job but that his customer service was dry,and unfriendly. She simply said I will talk to him about that, and walked away no apology no nothing.
So all I am saying is “if you don’t like your job you need to quit” or at least do what you are there to do until you can do better.
With the economy, and all of life’s other challenges the way they are be happy that you are employed.
