Job Lay-offs

There has been a quite a few job lay-offs here in Ohio. In Preble County and surrounding areas are really hurting because of the auto industry. I have also been affected by the job lay-offs.
I worked at a local factory in my area making parts for Honda, and Toyota. Since the two bigger companies are not selling cars, they did need to make as many cars. I got laid off a week before Christmas along with over hundred and fifty other tempary workers. We were not the only factory in the area that was hurt.
There are a few others in Preble County that also laid off over a hundred people. Over three hundred people lost jobs right before Christmas. That doesn’t included the shutdown of the Gm Truck and Bus plant in Dayton, Ohio.
A few none factory jobs are even laying-off people. Places like Kmart and Walmart, a packaging place in Lewisburg, Ohio.
We are a small county and we are losing all of are jobs. The jobs that were available, are now taking up, because there is more out of work, workers, than there is jobs in this county.
