Leaving a Bad Job Can Lead to Happiness

A word of advice about being in a job where conditions aren’t so great.

If you are highly unhappy with your job, although you might need money, you should consider leaving. I, myself, have realized that staying somewhere that makes you miserable isn’t worth it.

It took me two jobs before realizing that this was true. Did you know that staying at a job you don’t like can get you fired? It’s true, at least, if hating it makes you act out or even start to leave your senses.

It’s much better to leave a position that causes mental and physical pain, not to mention extra doctors’ bills. You don’t want to end up in the position that you are going through physical pain and people causing mental duress by either not caring what you’re going through, or making fun of what you start doing because of the pain. It hurts, either way.

The best thing to do, if you’ve already tried talking to people within the organization and they don’t listen or nothing happens that changes the situation after a while, is just quit. It’s much better than torturing yourself.

If you feel you have a case, seek an attorney for restitution. If you win, you may just teach them a lesson to treat other employees better. If you lose, at least you finally got them to listen to what you have been through.

Whatever you do, don’t stay at a job that makes you extremely unhappy. It’s never a good idea to put yourself through such misery. It will likely be the best thing you can do for yourself in the long run.
