Self-Employment Jobs
by There are so many jobs you can do from home or start without much start-up cost, read on further to see a few that I would like to share.
Everyone is having problems when it comes to making money. I have been thinking to myself what are some jobs that one could do to make some extra money or that where you can be your own boss. Well there are many that come to my mind but I will name a few of them.
Babysitting
This is one that I am sure a lot of stay at home moms think about. Did you know you can work through the state and become a child care provider in your own home. Every state has different rules but it can be done. If want to look into it I would call your local Job and Family Services or also called Welfare. They sometimes offer free CPR classes or the training that you need to become state certified. Check into it if this might be something you would like to do to make extra money.
Pet Sitting
This is another option to make some extra money. Put a ad in the paper, spread the word that you would like to pet sit for people that need help while they are away on vacation or are at work all day and need their pets looked after. This would be a low cost start up business and if you love animals than you might just make it your fulltime job.
House Sitting
Yes it is true some people pay people to keep up on their home while they might be away for a long period of time. Only thing about this job would be you would need a clean record to do this. I would put ads in the newspaper or on craigslist to see if you can get some clients that way. Low start-up cost as well but I would get some kinda of insurance going after the business gets going that way you have a backup if something gets broken or stolen on your watch. Which hopefully that does NOT happen.
Answering Service
This is one you can do for low cost as well. There are a lot of buisnesses that recieve calls they can not answer offer your services to become a answering service for their business. Put ads on craigslist or in the newspaper. You could also do some cold calling by calling some buisnesses and see if they might need a service like this. You could set your rates low that way you could have many customers. Just be careful when you will accept calls, try and not have it set anytime than it might cut into your personal life too much.
These are just a few ideas of some ways to generate some extra income. There are many more but these I thought would be the easiest to start and I think would be fun as well. Thanks for reading my article and feel free to leave comments and or rate me.
