So You Want to Join the Circus

Put on a happy face, and make people laugh or a ringmaster announcing children of all ages, perhaps, the back end of the deal, cleaning up behind the circus animals. Now lets be realistic, you must start somewhere in order to get somewhere. As a youngster, you often dreamed of becoming a circus performer, and traveling the country. You can travel the country, but it won’t be with the circus, unless you have prepared yourself to whatever you wish to do in the circus.

For starters, if you are thinking about being a trapeze artist, you must practice the technique until you have created perfection. Now there is the ringmaster, one who announces the performers, and welcomes the audiences along with the spotlight being on center stage. Then there are the animal trainers, and you must have an love for animals, patience and the psychology of humane focus in achieving your goals of success of animal performance. Just because the trainer has the elephants stand up or a tiger stand up, it’s not as easy as you think. It take years, and eye contact of hypnosis between you and the animals. If you don’t, you could be doing the animal act yourself or worse, being attacked by the animals themselves.

The circus is a fun place offering many avenues providing you know what avenue you want to go down. Picture yourself as Dr. Dolittle or being in ark surrounded by animals, and thinking of it, would determine if you truly have what it takes to be around animals, and the circus. The worse scenario, cleaning and washing down the animals waste. Until your circus vision becomes a reality, enjoy the circus, and marvel at all the performers, and visualize yourself with the animals with being the star attraction, and you are known throughout the world.
