Thief Among Us..
by Seriously, this world has changed, honest people are few and far between…
As things at my job change, people I work with have become thieves, stealing has become their wayof life, yes I am extremely pissed…
Why do they think they have more bills than me…I have to buy gas and drive 20 miles to and from work, I have children too, although yes, my youngest has graduated from high school but she is going college..and still lives at home…
But actually witnessing the stealing, puzzled, other people have told me, but witnessing it was completely different…an actually didn’t believe them, why would he steal…but he did, a dollar here and their…Hummm….
Things were going through my mind, confronting, him, telling the manager, or holding it inside…
So, desiding to take matters in my own hands, bought some canning jars, you know the jelly jar kind, making a slit in the top like a piggy bank, and writing a message inside, We Appreciate your Tips, and thank-you.
And asking that only one person picks up those tips, OMG was he pissed, complaining, telling me the customers were complaining, etc…Over the top and then some..All this bitching why, if your not stealing then what is the complaint…?
Okay the complaint by him by the customers was they don’t like it, why are we doing this? His answer should of been because I am stealing tips, and they are trying to put a stop to it…lol
Today on a visit outside, talking the customers they told me he wasn’t personable…grumpy, and should take his New York attitude back to New York…
He didn’t speak to me all day, which actually I didn’t care… He somehow knew the jars were my doing…
The Managers told him it was the owners doing, they requested the jars, and also wants the creamers and sugar to be put in one…as well, all true.
All the tables are outside, that he has stolen from, the jars were also put on the inside tables as well…
The rest of the employees, which we all share tips, gave me a thumbs up, he doesn’t know that I was the one, but has an idea….I really don’t care..
He has been comfronted for stealing before, not by me, but some major players, at my job and he told the owner they were crazy, why would he steal…Until I actually saw him, I questioned it…Then I saw him, not once but twice in one day…
Although at the moment I saw him, now I think I should have said something to him, but because he is a friend or I thought he was a friend, I didn’t…
What Would you have done, if you saw someone taking something that belongs to you and others?
