To Drill or Not to Drill?

Overview of off-shore oil drilling.

We need to drill and we need to drill now! We have enough offshore oil supply to supply all of America’s cars for forty years. It would take six months to a year to get any of this oil, which is why we need to drill now.

We spend seven hundred billion dollars a year on foreign oil. Most of that money goes into the hands of terrorists and they use that money fighting us. We must use our own resources. Not just oil. Natural gas, wind, solar, geothermal, everything.

Drilling that oil would also create close to a million jobs. High paying jobs that America needs. Our economy needs to go green, but before we have the right technology we have to stick with what works, oil. No more being at the mercy of another country to fuel our economy. We need to fuel our economy and redesign it…NOW!

Our oil companies must become ENERGY companies.

With the economy the way that it is, and the gas prices mostly to blame, we need to start using our own oil. I can’t stress this argument enough. Ninety percent of Americans agree, and they’re right. The left wing politicians aren’t the ones making under three hundred thousand a year, so why should they worry about gas prices? They don’t remember what being middle or lower class is like.

I can barely afford to get work, and when I do, I spend almost as much on gas as I do making money at work. That sucks when you only make twelve thousand a year like I do. We need to fix this. This subject can’t stay on the back burner much longer.

I’m tired of the government saying they’ll fix something and they never do. This is something they can’t hide from us anymore. If we don’t drill our own oil, the worst of the ‘recession’ is yet to come. Believe me.
