Why the Need to Earn Money Through Part-Time Jobs?
About the relationship today between money and life, with particular insight on part-time jobs.
Money has become the aim in the lives of many a people. They work to possess money not only for earning a living but also to have a certain lifestyle with which they nurture their personality and hence psychological development. Rightly so since in the physical world, almost nothing is possible without notes and coins. Money literally rules our existence today to the extent of compelling one to consider and look for part-time jobs.

This phenomenon is making more and more adepts today now that recession has hit the stands of the economic market. The majority of individuals are uncertain about their professional career as this doubtful atmosphere is a strong deterrent for any type of interesting job opportunities coming their way. Stagnancy seems the upcoming trend for many. Hence, together with their ‘secure’ old work position, people are turning to part-time jobs – be it online or in the real world – at the expense of the time earlier spent on family, other hobby activities, and holidays. Time is money, is it not?
Working part-time brings around to-be-expected changes in the individuals’ routine. Flexibility is the key word to mention; the challenge of successfully incorporating after-work tasks resides in efficient time management – the foremost ingredient in life according to business tycoons and without forgetting the strength to bear with the possibly changeable timetable of one’s day coupled with the drive to maintain the level of interest and the determination to get over any bumps on one’s way. She/he will have to fight her/his inner demons like fear of failure, fatigue, and frustration among others.
Part-time jobs are a harsh bargain to accept but again I believe the money makes it easier to suffer. The notable aspect in favour of doing other minor work is the optimised individual growth since the latter has to juggle work, part-time occupation and family. With experience, the person becomes more disciplined, autonomous, manages his hours and minutes better, meets more people. However, in this perpetual race to maximise one’s bank account, one may often wonder in some rare moments of freedom if she/he is doing justice to her life: where is the love, happiness, enjoyment?
I guess the trick lies in picking the right part-time job.
