Health prevention.

The high prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders among the workers necessitates being paid attention in the workplace of this type of disorders.

Back pain is frequent in blue collar workers as construction workers, psychosocial stress and the employer’s response to injury. Lumbar supports and corsets and exercise therapy are used for treatment and prevention of low back pain which is the most frequent type of back pain.

Standing, sitting, digging, driving and lifting are occupational factors for recurrence neck pain. The prevention is exercise therapy several times a day.

  • Shoulder pain is frequent in blue collar workers, sports players.
  • Elbow pain is frequent in sport players – tennis, golf, athletic players.
  • Wrist pain is frequent in computer workers, piano players
  • Finger pain is frequent in piano players.

The prevention for upper limb pain is exercise therapy with specific exercises for the different pains.

Pain in lower limb is often in construction workers, active sportsmen and the prevention for pain is exercise and position therapy.
