Working with a Smile Hack
A simple hack about how to achieve more, and be happy with your work.
Whatever you do for a living in your life you probably plan your work ahead. Planning a workflow is one of the key aspects in achieving success. Off course, some jobs require more preparation and detail planning and other jobs don’t, but even simplest job need minimal plan before beginning and that includes number of working hours and brake time.
Some aspects of doing the job like work quality, achieved results and amount of accomplished goals directly influence our mood and satisfaction. Here we should notice bounce effect because working with satisfaction has positive effect on the way how we work, which then brings better results. Simply speaking, we work better if we work with a smile.
I want to talk about hack I use successfully to accomplish greater satisfaction with myself and my work. Let’s say I had 8 things on my to-do list for today. I will change my plan so I have 6 out of those 8 things and since I’ll have more time for them, I’ll do my job with higher quality and I’ll be happy about it. But, that’s not all. I’ll make bonus list with additional things, two remaining from old list and even one or more new ones. If I do my primary 6 things, I’ll be happy about it, but every bonus job, I’ll be extra happy.
Now, I don’t know much about psychology, but I know my results. Somehow, using just described hack, I manage to do 8, 9 or even more things from the list every single day and I’m very happy about it. I don’t know why this hack works, but it works every time and that’s enough for me. Try it for yourself.

Not all people are natural planners, though.
